00:11I feel like I never did.
00:12I failed you, but I'll tell her that you did.

00:15Be like, I met a friend and she did.

00:20So women who shape the future.
00:22I mean, you have actually been incredibly inspiring to me.
00:25I followed you on social media for a really long time
00:27and I just love what you do and what you put out there.
00:29And speak your truth.
00:31Who's inspired you?
00:33You know, this question I think is always a tricky one
00:36because I think there are a ton of incredible people
00:38doing amazing things, but I firmly believe
00:41that your biggest inspiration should come through yourself.
00:44And I think that it's important to spend a lot of time
00:47evaluating who you are, thinking about what you need
00:50and then using that to further grow yourself as a person.
00:54And so that's always been really important to me.
00:58Yeah.
00:59Well, and something also important to you is fitness.
01:01How does working out...
01:03I always go back and forth kind of if working out is something that you do
01:08to look good or to feel good.
01:10How have you kind of created the important kind of mental notes
01:17to make it just feel good and not just be about what's on the outside?
01:21Yeah.
01:22Well, you know, I think it's funny because I've been in fitness for over 10 years now
01:27and I always was doing it to look good, to look good, to look good.
01:31And I found that I was really unhappy when I was doing it that way.
01:35And fitness became this chore.
01:37And so then I was like, okay, what if I switch the perspective and make it into feeling good?
01:42And when that's the focus, the other benefits of working out, such as looking good, right,
01:48or just being healthy or whatever it may be, those happen as well.
01:52So instead it's like kind of creating a different end point and still benefiting and reaping all of the same results.
01:59I think at the end of the day when you feel good doing something, you want to keep doing it.
02:04And that's something that's really hard to achieve in fitness.
02:06You know, after a while you're like, oh, I don't want to go to the gym anymore.
02:09This sucks.
02:10But if it's a matter of I feel great, that changes it.
02:14And so within the... I could talk about this for a while.
02:16I love it.
02:17I'm going through like a rut right now.
02:19Yeah.
02:20So within the app, something that I did that was really important to me from day one
02:25is I gave a question before you start the workout and as soon as you finish the workout.
02:30And the question is, how do you feel?
02:32And there's like a list of answers or you can type in your own word.
02:35But it's like, I feel tired or I feel stiff or I feel amazing.
02:39I feel energized.
02:40And this idea of simply checking in with yourself with this one question before and after is so powerful
02:46because nine and a half times out of 10, you end up feeling better when you're done with the workout itself.
02:52Yeah.
02:53I love it so much because it's kind of resets your mind about what you should be focused on.
02:58I love that.
02:59Now, obviously, you and Nico have such a beautiful relationship that's just incredibly inspiring.
03:04Could we see you guest starring at all on Younger coming up?
03:08Oh, my God.
03:09No.
03:11No way.
03:12No, I don't really have a desire to do any type of scripted television.
03:18I know what that life is and it's not glamorous behind the scenes, but I do love the show.
03:23I think Nico is amazing on it.
03:25And there is like a baby around this season coming up.
03:31There's like a baby on set.
03:32So I'll be going to set much more often just to play with the baby.
