00:04So first and foremost, women who have shaped your future. Who inspires you?

00:08100% my mom. She raised both me and my brother as a single mom since I was 8 years old.

00:14And she was a school teacher on top of that, so she was essentially raising a class of students.

00:19And she's never lost her spark. She's never lost what excites her in life and her artist side.

00:25And I just really, I respect her so much.

00:27And God Friended Me. What do you think makes it such a hit?

00:31Because I have gotten completely sucked into it myself.

00:34So, you know, season 2, why do fans love it?

00:38I think fans are enjoying the show because they can see themselves represented.

00:43Our creators, Brian and Steven, who write the show, their main focus is to make sure that every story is heard

00:49and that nothing is stereotyped and that people's representation is true to who people are.

00:54And I think that the audience is reading that and they appreciate it.

00:58Yeah, and I think you've seen a lot of different stories represented on the show as well.

01:02What can we expect from your character?

01:05Well, we have about four more episodes coming out.

01:08And I can say that for Kara on the career front, things are really looking up.
