08:01Liminal Point is an upcoming psychological survival horror game developed and published
08:23by indie studio Hideworks that pays homage to classic survival horror while offering
08:28a modern isometric take on the genre, placing players in the role of Lyra Stirling, a once
08:34rising rock singer who returns by ferry to the fog-drenched island of Ashen Point after
08:39receiving a cryptic voicemail from her missing bandmate Mira, and is drawn back into the place
08:44where her band's story ended in tragedy years before.
08:49The island, now a decaying ghost town shrouded in thick, oppressive fog and cut off from the
08:54mainland, is filled with abandoned streets, crumbling seaside houses, a derelict mansion,
09:00a shuttered hospital, fetid sewers, and other interconnected locations that serve as the
09:06stage for a story that steadily blurs the line between reality and nightmare.
09:11As Lyra searches for answers, she encounters cryptic messages, symbolic environmental details,
09:17and grotesque twisted creatures that seem to manifest from her memories and guilt as much
09:22as from any external source.
09:26Gameplay follows the classic survival horror formula, with a tight third-person slash isometric
09:31camera, deliberately paced movement, and a heavy emphasis on resource scarcity.
09:37Ammunition and healing items are limited, inventory slots are restricted, and players must
09:41carefully choose which weapons, key items, and supplies to carry, while relying on maps, notes,
09:47and environmental cues to navigate the island's maze-like layout, plan routes, and avoid being
09:53cornered by monsters.
09:56Combat is tense and unforgiving rather than power fantasy-oriented, encouraging players to
10:01decide whether to fight, flee, or attempt to sneak past enemies, and some encounters seem
10:07designed to unsettle rather than simply be defeated, reinforcing the psychological angle.
10:13Now you can enjoy the screenshots without any interruption, enjoy!
