00:00We go to Japan. A magnitude 7.6 earthquake struck off the eastern coast of Honshu on Monday,
00:05triggering tsunami warnings for several prefectures.
00:08The Japan Meteorological Agency informed that the quake was registered at 11.15pm local time
00:14at a depth of 50km.
00:16In this scenario, the agency issued a tsunami warning for the prefectures of Hokkaido, Aomori and Iwate,
00:23saying waves as high as 3 metres could hit the northeastern coast.
00:28There have been no immediate reports of casualties or damages.
00:32It is worth highlighting that the Asian nation is one of the world's most earthquake-prone countries,
00:38with a tremor reportedly occurring at least every five minutes.
