Blaqk Audio, the side project of AFI musicians Davey Havok and Jade Puget, announced a spring tour ahead of their new release, 'Only Things We Love,' which serves as the duo's fourth studio album.
00:00We really enjoy playing our older tracks, and we know that people like to hear songs that they're more familiar with and have been familiar with for some time, you know, at this point, 15 years, 16 years, I suppose.
00:13With a new tour in support of their brand new album, Only Things We Love, AFI's Davey Havoc and Jade are taking their electronic side project, Black Audio, on the road this spring.
00:22Ahead of that, Davey stopped by our setlist.fm studios here in L.A., where he opened up about setlist creation and what fans can expect to hear on this tour.
00:31We've been working on the setlist for the Only Things tour for a while now, and we're very diligently trying to have more tracks ready than we put in the set in order to be able to rotate the setlist,
00:43which is a more difficult orchestration in electronic music with the programming that needs to take place to get the songs to seamlessly flow together, as well as the lighting.
00:55We're hoping to weave tracks from all four of our albums throughout the set and change the set every night.
01:02There are songs off of prior albums like Black at the Center and Illit Ships that we've never played before that we've discussed wanting to play. We hope to do that.
