00:18actor Cameron Boyce. Before his tragic death, he revealed he hoped to lead by example when
00:24it came to his charity work. He opened up about it in an interview with Hot Living back in May.
00:29He spoke about his love of, quote, helping to fulfill lives and, quote, inspiring others
00:35to become engaged in campaigns and charity work. As reported, he suddenly passed away nearly
00:40two weeks ago after suffering an epileptic seizure. He was only 20 years old but touched the lives
00:46of so many. To keep his bright legacy alive, his family launched the Cameron Boyce Foundation.
00:52According to the site, it aims to provide young people artistic and creative outlets as alternatives
00:57to violence and negativity and uses resources and philanthropy for positive change in the world.

01:15His family is also launching a social media campaign called Wielding Peace. PeopleMag reports
01:21he intended to start it before he passed away. According to his rep, he described it as, quote,
01:26a collection of images that feature people from all walks of life. Celebrities, victims of gun
01:31violence, common supporters wielding guns. The catch is that the guns that we're using as props will be
01:37items that signify unity and peace. As you can imagine, his untimely death has left the world in
01:42complete shock. People reports Cameron's life was honored in a bittersweet celebration of life with
01:48family and friends. Debbie Ryan posted this chilling video from the gathering on Instagram.
01:53As you can see, there was a dedication table in his honor. Items he once wore, such as a Lakers
01:58t-shirt and his sunglasses, were on display. His family also asked guests to share their stories
02:03and memories. Debbie explains the gathering in her caption, saying it was a deeply bittersweet
02:08celebration of life. She says his mom told her, quote, he is our compass and it's showing as all
02:14directions have pointed to love and light and togetherness. She ends saying, we love you,
02:19Cameron. Thank you for what you've given us and continue to give us. Now, we here at Hollywood
