00:00Cameron Boyce's parents speak out for the first time since his sudden death in an
00:06emotional video. Plus, Dove Cameron reflects on her loss and explains how
00:11the Descendants cast is coping. Hey guys, it's Ali for Hollywood Life and it's
00:18hard to believe that it's already been over a month since Cameron Boyce passed
00:22away. As reported, the 20 year old suffered a seizure due to epilepsy. Co-stars
00:27and fans alike have been sharing heartwarming messages on social media
00:30honoring the late actor. Dove Cameron recently sat down with E to reflect on
00:35the loss of her beloved friend. She described him saying he was just
00:39everything everybody said he was. He was from someplace else. He was truly like a
00:43cosmic happening. She also explained how she and the rest of the Descendants cast
00:48are coping. They've been working on staying in touch with each other and
00:52really making an effort to do so. She added it's been really rough for all
00:56finding solace in each other and that's become really beautiful. As you know the
01:00third and final installment of Disney's Descendants 3 aired on August 2nd. The
01:05movie ended with a touching tribute to honor the late actor and his legacy from
01:09his role on Jesse to playing Carlos in the Descendants franchise. Cameron's parents
01:14have now spoken out on social media thanking everyone for their support during
01:18such a difficult time and they just sat down with Good Morning America giving
01:22their first on-camera interview. His father said he was with Cameron just hours
01:26before he passed saying there was no indication that anything was wrong.
01:29The night he passed away we were out to dinner with him just hours before. It was
01:35completely normal beautiful family and I out to dinner. There was no indication that
01:39anything was wrong. I mean there's no way to know in hours my son would be dead. Like
01:45it was just staggeringly crazy and horrible. In regards to his epilepsy his
01:52parents said he didn't want it to define him and it certainly didn't. It didn't
01:57it didn't define him. He wasn't scared. He never complained about anything. Never. He
02:01loved life. He was kind of in a place. This is for me the hardest thing. He was in a
02:06place where he was truly happy. I mean Cameron was always happy. Never a negative
02:12thing came out of his mouth. Never. The interview ended with his parents talking
02:16about how passionate Cameron was about his charity work. But he was just really
02:20finding his groove. As long as transitioning from being a kid to a young adult. Yeah but he was
02:27really like really getting into the charity stuff. Really getting into what
02:32he wanted to do with his voice. Which is what we always told him to do. Use your
02:36voice. Use it to make positive in the world. And that's what he was starting to do.
02:41Now the full interview is set to air Thursday on Good Morning America. In the
