02:29The owner owed hundreds of thousands of dollars.
02:32Studio Blue is one of the largest in the country.

03:28With everything being up in the air, Min decided to take Mina to another studio.

04:04We have to start from the ground and prove ourselves again.
04:11Everyone is watching these girls more than ever because they have gone through a lot.
04:18Winning, losing their home, being in limbo, and now back.
04:22Like now I feel like they're coming to get us even more.
04:25So these girls have to show the world that they're back and they're better than ever.
04:29Winning that national title was probably one of the biggest highlights of my career.
04:48I felt so good about this team and where we were headed.
04:51All of a sudden my name is Mud because the owner's name was Mud.
04:55I was in panic mode.
04:57I had no income and then Kaylee had to come home to have surgery on her foot.
05:02My first thought was survival.
05:03Like how do I make a living?

05:07And you know, I knew I couldn't do it alone.
05:10So I brought in the next best thing to me, which is my daughter.
05:17I have been dancing on a broken foot for the past 10 years.
05:20And finally last summer I couldn't take it anymore and I had to have surgery.
05:24The surgery basically forced me to move back home.
05:27Which was good for me and all of us because you were around when Studio Blue closed down and then you were here to help me open Project X.

05:39She's been able to really take on a lot of the training and I trust her immensely.
05:46My mom and I are going to not always have the same opinion for sure, but both of us together can make this team the best that it can be.
05:53Kaylee and I have not lived together full time since she was 16 years old when she left to go to ballet school in Philadelphia.
05:59Becoming a professional ballerina is exceptionally hard.

11:08in secaucus new jersey we are only doing one solo this week
11:17this is the very first time anyone will see us competing as project x everyone's rooting for us to
