00:00Hello and welcome to this Queensland Janesweather update for Monday.

00:04We've got a fair bit of cloud that's moving down in through here.

00:06All of the heavy rain over the southeast has now cleared out.

00:10This very light falls for the rest of the day.

00:12We're going to get showers and thunderstorms pop up.

00:14In terms of our heat wave for today, it's moving through all of these areas here.

00:18Let's now have a look day by day.

00:19Starting on Monday, we've got a trough that runs down in through here.

00:22So showers and thunderstorms are to the east of that.

00:25They'll redevelop in through these parts again during the afternoon.

00:28But the southeast is now clear.

00:30That is Monday.

00:31Having a look at Tuesday, a bit of a reprieve for the southeast there.

00:35We've got our showers and thunderstorms out in through here.

00:37Having a look at Wednesday, they consolidate down in the southwestern parts of Queensland.

00:42You'll notice it's not in the southeast though.

00:44Having a look at Thursday, there it does continue in through those southern central parts into Friday.

00:50There we go, around here.

00:51It's approaching the ranges in through there, but again, not making it into the southeast.

00:55Having a look at Saturday, there we go.

00:57A bit of activity in the southeast and across the south there.

00:59We've got the heat wave continuing in through there.

01:02Into Sunday, that increases.

01:05And into next Monday, out of the southeast once again, as all that starts to contract northwards.

01:10What might that add up to?

01:11Over these parts here, 15 to 25 millimetres, a fair bit in the northwest, as you'd expect at this time of year.

01:17All of this here, most of that was earlier on this morning and has now cleared.

01:21So let's have a look at Brisbane.

01:23First of all, temperatures, 28, 30-ish.

01:26So in the high 20s and 30, there's no heat in the outlook.

01:29There's hardly any wet weather either.

01:30We saw that it was moving away from the southeast, so there's just the odd shower moving through.

01:35There's really not much to deal with as we go across.

01:37The dew point is up around 20 most days.

01:39It does peter off towards the end of the week there, so it'll feel a little bit drier as we have a top of 29.

01:46Then it comes back across the weekend.
