क्या आपने कभी सोचा है… क्या कोई ऐसा ऋषि हुआ था जिसने देवताओं को भी पराजित कर दिया था? क्या एक मनुष्य इतना शक्तिशाली हो सकता है कि देवता भी उसके सामने नतमस्तक हो जाएँ?
पुराणों में वर्णन है कि ऋषि दधीचि के तप, योग और त्याग की शक्ति इतनी महान थी कि तीनों लोकों में कोई भी शक्ति उन्हें परास्त नहीं कर सकती थी।
जब असुरों ने देवताओं को हराकर स्वर्ग छीन लिया, तो देवता स्वयं दधीचि के पास मदद माँगने आए। क्योंकि उन्हें पता था— केवल दधीचि ही वह शक्ति दान कर सकते हैं जिससे असुरों का अंत हो सके।
दधीचि ने इतिहास का सबसे बड़ा त्याग किया— उन्होंने अपने प्राण त्यागकर अपनी अस्थियाँ दान कर दीं। इन्हीं अस्थियों से बना देवताओं का सबसे शक्तिशाली अस्त्र—वज्र, जिसने वृत्रासुर का वध किया और देवताओं को फिर से विजय दिलाई।
यह कथा केवल शक्ति की नहीं, बल्कि त्याग, धर्म और अद्भुत योगबल का प्रमाण है।
