Honduran presidential candidate Salvador Nasralla, who promised to re-establish diplomatic ties with Taiwan, says the latest voting results are fraudulent. It's the latest issue in an election marred by technical problems.

00:00One of the leading candidates in Honduras' presidential election says the latest vote tallies are fraudulent.
00:07On Wednesday, Salvador Nasralla was ahead by around 16,000 votes, with 80% of votes counted.
00:14By Thursday night, he'd fallen behind rival Nasri Asfura by 24,000 votes.
00:19Nasralla says the count is incorrect and is calling for an investigation.
00:24Both candidates have voiced support for Taiwan during the election.
00:28Nasralla says Honduras should re-establish formal ties with Taiwan after they were broken off in 2023,
00:34as Asfura has promised to move the country away from China.
00:38Though the vote was on Sunday, counting has been delayed throughout the week.
00:41Other issues including a hacking attempt on the country's voting system and 17% of all ballots showing inconsistencies.
