00:00Well, the child poverty strategy is the single biggest initiative that any government has taken on child poverty.
00:07And I said that this government have a mission to drive down child poverty because children should be able to go as far as their talent will take them.
00:16They shouldn't have barriers, but poverty is a barrier to children realizing their talents, being able to play their full part in the economy.
00:25And that's why I'm really proud to have launched the strategy. At the heart of the strategy is lifting the two child benefit cap, which will lift half a million children out of poverty.
00:37And we're here in Wales, in an area where that's going to make a massive difference to the lives of children.
00:44So this is not about the policies of who's up, who's down this week. This is about generational change. And I'm really proud that we're leading that.
