00:00Just as The Conners was renewed for a second season on ABC,
00:10Roseanne Barr is blaming Sarah Gilbert for the cancellation of the Roseanne revival.
00:14If you can believe it, it's been 10 months since Roseanne was axed by ABC,
00:18after Barr tweeted a racist remark about President Obama's former aide Valerie Jarrett.
00:23And now the comedian is blaming Gilbert for the cancellation in a new interview with The Washington Post.
00:28Back when Barr posted her offensive tweet in May 2018, Gilbert, who starred on the show
00:33as Barr's on-screen daughter Darlene, quickly responded, saying,
00:48The show was canceled just 27 minutes after Gilbert published her tweet.
00:51Barr told The Washington Post in a story published Thursday,
00:54The second comment was a reference, of course, to Hannibal Lecter's famous line in Silence of the Lambs.
01:06A rep for Gilbert did not immediately respond to The Hollywood Reporter's request for comment,
01:10but she did share a brief statement with The Washington Post, saying,
01:13Barr also revealed during the interview that she was suicidal following the show's cancellation.
01:25She credited Rabbi Shmuley Boteik for saving her life, saying,
