A rare 22-degree sun halo appeared over a snowy mountain landscape as onlookers stopped to watch the sky.
Tori Ware, from Colorado, USA, captured the phenomenon while standing in the snow as a bright, colourful ring formed around the sun.
The video shows wide views of the full halo stretching across the blue sky, with skiers and visitors gathered below, pointing and looking up at the sight.
The close-up clips reveal rainbow-like colours created by ice crystals in the cold mountain air, with snow-covered peaks visible in the background.
One viewer commented: “Is this outer space?”
Another added: “Wow, what an amazing thing to see.”
