Ducklings get stranded on Houston highway as a storm approaches and mom flies away

Parenting is an art, and clearly, someone skipped the class.

Naomie shared this clip of baby ducks who found themselves stranded on the Houston highway, right before a storm rolled in.

Their mother, in a questionable move, decided to take off and leave her little ones behind.

The scene quickly turned into a highway rescue mission, as kindhearted people rushed to help the helpless fluffballs before the skies opened up.

Just when nature seemed cruel, humanity stepped in with a warm touch.

The sight of tiny ducks waddling toward safety while cars slowed down was enough to melt even the storm clouds.

Guess the mama duck might need to retake her parenting course before the next family trip.
