00:00uh brad let's start off with the game that i'm gonna guess that you'll be watching the closest

00:04tonight i don't know if that's fair but it's the orlando magic taking on the san antonio spurs we

00:09know uh spurs looking different lately i mean there's no doubt about that when you lose your

00:13big star magic eight point favorites total 235 and a half catch us up with this matchup and who

00:20you like if if any in this one yeah no you're right i'll be watching this one closely unfortunately

00:24i'll be watching it on my phone uh we have bowl selection uh today so we'll be picking polls

00:29uh teams for the bulls down here in florida but uh i digress i actually like desmond bain in this

00:35game um and this was a bet i probably wouldn't have taken early at the beginning of the season but

00:40after back-to-back 30 point nights i think i'm comfortable with his 22 and a half point total

00:44and taking the over it's not necessarily because he had those 230 nights it's it's how he did it

00:50his shooting has progressively gotten better throughout the season it's really hard to

00:54change scenery and just think you're gonna just flip that switch and be shooting as well as you

00:58were in another place the gym is different that sounds different when you're in there remember

01:02you're not practicing in your your practice arena i mean your main arena right so but now he's playing

01:07really good and he actually has the highest usage usage on the team i'm not really liking the magic

01:13though uh plus the minus the eight there i'd rather take the spurs magic aren't really good at covering

01:17big spreads i think as favorites uh of six or more so far this season and they're two and six against

01:23the spread which is a really weird and funky number i think the spurs do enough to keep it close

01:28indiana's having a dreadful season and you know certainly you never know like you lose a guy like

01:34haliburton you could still be 500 but man the pacers seemingly just going through brad what is being

01:39called a lost year for them you know chasing down some picks here at this point uh denver i mean can

01:45you bet what are the odds for yokich to get a triple double it happens every night denver minus eight

01:49tonight total of 237 and a half i would expect denver probably to win this game but again it's

01:55a big line on the road you know you said what are the odds of uh yokich to get a triple double

02:00is the first thing i had to know because i knew it had to be insane it's around minus 150 minus 175

02:05for someone to get a triple double but it makes sense right like that's probably the first bet if

02:10i'm like not trying to find evs people say is i want to bet yokich uh it's gonna be a high scoring

02:16game uh not a really good defensive unit 20th and defensive rating for the pacers um but i actually

02:22want to go a different way uh and i'm going with peyton watson over 13 and a half points and you know

02:28peyton watson's just a i think he's a 10 6 and 4 guy uh doesn't get a ton of minutes and usage

02:35but without aaron gordon that number just drastically increases he's up to 18.7 in seven games played

02:42that's points scored in seven games played without aaron gordon and he has the luxury and the

02:47benefit of getting passes from the best facilitating big man probably in the history of the nba and

02:52yokich and i think with a point total that's probably going to go over of 237 and a half i would bet that

03:00he's going to get to 16 or 17 and in those six or seven game in all those seven games too he went over

03:05in six or seven which is so it's not like 135 point outlier with a bunch of misses it's all hits one miss

03:11i'll be out with this one tonight so the the hawks are clearly the better team in this matchup

03:16against the los angeles clippers and we know that there's you know a lot of traveling going on

03:20with the clippers who are on the road we also have the drama of the chris paul thing but i must be

03:25missing something here tonight because atlanta who's 13 and 9 are two and a half point favorites which

03:30tells us it's kind of an even game tonight total of 227 and a half is this like a usage issue for

03:36the hawks tonight or are the odds makers just still bullish on a clippers team eventually to figure

03:41they start winning some games you know i don't really know what to think of this game because

03:45i think someone said if it quacks like a duck it's probably a duck this line is stinky three and a

03:50half we have to remember the last time a team uh played in a really weird travel situation uh with

03:55some older guys some questionable players in the lineups that was uh golden state warriors against

04:00miami had that weird travel situation as well and that line was like eight and a half seven and a

04:04half now we're just talking about three and a half for a team that's been pretty bad a five win

04:10clippers team the team that's slow offensively bad defensively doesn't get out in transition

04:15against a really disciplined defensive unit in the atlanta hawks i lean and this is a lean the three

04:23and a half with the atlanta hawks even without trey young even without porzingis jalen johnson's doing

04:27enough to get this team over the finish line but with sometimes when something just looks too obvious

04:32it's best for me just to sit out because i don't think i need to poke the bear there's so many

04:36other good angles you can look for this today detroit one of the best teams in the east this

04:41season they're four and a half point favorites on the road against milwaukee surrounding now this new

04:45yannis drama that could potentially be in play total of 230 and a half most feel that detroit's legit i

04:53don't know what that really means and how far that they could go but their regular season's off to a

04:57great start yeah detroit's legit i mean shout out to motor city good for them it's been a while since

05:03they've been really good at basketball i like the over here um the bucks don't play a lick of defense

05:09but they do play with a really high pace and even though the pistons play really defense they've been

05:14a team that's an over team right over over seven times in the last 11 and the head-to-heads between

05:20these two i don't lean too much into head-to-heads but when they've gone over in five straight meetings

05:24it's something that i have to at least investigate i think we see the over and there's so much drama

05:31surrounding the milwaukee bucks in yannis where i just think if you don't like the over you just go

05:37ahead and you take the pistons team total over they're already a four point favorite on the road

05:42and i'd imagine if they're going to cover the four or if they have blowout potential it's going to be

05:47doing it by scoring a ton of points not necessarily by stifling the the milwaukee bucks so you could take

05:52the pistons team total over if you don't like the full game over finally let's talk about the miami

05:57heat visiting the dallas mavericks mavericks we know going through a transitional type season that's

06:02what we thought the heat would be going through but as usual the heat outperforming all their projections

06:0714 and 7 on the season the acquisition of powell has been great for the heat they're five and a half

06:14tonight total of 240 and a half it's just it's the same thing it feels like you know honestly with

06:19the regular season of the heat every year is that the projections are low they outperform them

06:24playoffs obviously we don't know we're a long way from there brad but uh they play some great

06:27offensive basketball i think that's been the surprise very surprising 11th and offensive

06:32rating i wasn't expecting that we know they're going to be a good top five defensive unit every

06:37single year um i would just wait for the lineups though uh norman pell questionable for this game i

06:42think he's the difference between them covering a five point spread or them kind of squeaking out and

06:47winning this but the mavericks don't play uh good enough defense and their offense is really slow as

06:51well i like the heat to win and cover what did you say you had tonight brad instead of watching
