00:00The best part of getting older is really that, you know, I'll speak for myself.
00:05I've come to really know and understand myself and I think, like, truly accept myself and all the parts of myself.
00:12Hi, I'm Gwyneth Paltrow and I'm with The Hollywood Reporter.
00:15My favorite guilty pleasure? It's probably, like, fried food. That would probably be it.
00:32Probably airport lounges would be my overrated luxury. Like, they're just not that great.
00:39Let's just, you know, I'll be together on the regular part. It's not worth it.
00:42My biggest pet peeve is when people are not on time.
00:48I'm a stickler for time. I'm always on time unless there's, like, some major thing happening.
00:54And when people are sort of casual about being late, that's a real pet peeve of mine.
00:59Probably, honestly, the best beauty hack is we at Goop make these eye masks, these pads.
01:06And I put them on every morning and put them on on the airplane and they just brighten your eyes and de-puff and make you look like you've slept for nine hours.
01:15The best part of getting older is really that, you know, I'll speak for myself.
01:29I've come to really know and understand myself and I think, like, truly accept myself and all the parts of myself.
01:36And so I think that's brought me an incredible strength and also a perspective, you know, it's like the highs maybe don't get as high as you're older, but the lows definitely don't get as low either.
01:50So life is just more, a little bit more even and you know what to expect.
01:55For me, the best part about making movies is being a part of a team like that when you really respect the other artists and you're kind of in awe of people's talent, like, in real time.
02:09That's the best part.
02:11The worst part is definitely the waiting, the sitting in the trailer time.
02:15That's, luckily, I run a business on the side, so I'm never bored.
02:19But, man, that waiting around can be really tough.
02:25Well, it depends on the scene.
02:31So, if I have to be emotional in a scene, then I'm, I have, I usually listen to Sieger Ross and that's a, that's a very immediate transportation to somewhere very emotional.
02:46And if it's a happy scene, maybe, you know, something a bit more optimistic.
02:51There are so many people in Hollywood that I consider a role model, but today I really have to say Sherry Lansing because I've admired her.
03:01I've known her for so many years, decades, and I always looked up to her so much as this incredibly intelligent, powerful woman who was running a studio.
03:13Leadership is such an opportunity.
03:15It's, it's an incredible opportunity to really discover who you are.
03:20And you can really kind of think about, okay, who is it that I want to be as a leader?
