Marcos orders increase in base pay of soldiers  President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Dec. 3, 2025 orders the increase of the base pay of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and other members of the uniformed ranks in recognition of their bravery and unwavering dedication to protecting the country and people. The increase will be implemented in three tranches— Jan. 1, 2026; Jan. 1, 2027; and Jan. 1, 2028. Apart from this, the commander-in-chief likewise ordered the increase in the Subsistence Allowance of all MUP from P150 to P350 per day effective Jan. 1, 2026. 00:09Kasama rito ang lahat ng military and uniformed personnel mula sa Department of National Defense,

00:15Department of Interior and Local Government, Philippine Coast Guard, Bureau of Corrections, National Mapping and Resource Information Authority.

00:23Ito ay ipapatupad natin sa tatlong tranche sa January 1, 2026, January 1, 2027, at January 1, 2028.

00:34Bukod pa riyan, simula January 1, 2026, ang subsistence allowance ng lahat ng MUP ay magiging P350 na kadaaraw.

00:45Naniniwala ang administrasyong ito na ang mga nagtatanggol sa bayan ay nararapat rin protektahan ng pamahalaan.

00:53Makatarungan sahod at sapat na suporta, ito ang handog ng sambayanan sa ating mga tagapagtanggol.
