00:00We've got two celebs for the price of one, haven't we?
00:01Oh dear.
00:02Because he's helping more of our best-loved celebrities...
00:05Hello!
00:06Hey!
00:07Tuck your shirt in.
00:09Yeah, well, I've been working.
00:10...turn their belongings into cold, hard cash.
00:13Come on!
00:14This is my grandma's old wireless.
00:17He visits their magnificent homes...
00:19It's not often you come to somebody who has a windmill.
00:22...seeking out collectibles...
00:24Yeah, this looks nice.
00:25What do you think of this?
00:26No!
00:27...keepsakes from their careers...
00:29Please don't drop them.
00:30Those are staying.
00:31I was just looking.
00:32...and stuff they no longer need...
00:34We have this fridge here.
00:35Yeah, okay.
00:36...to sell back at his auction house...
00:38Oh dear!
00:39Oh, wow!
00:40This is like an Aladdin's cave for me.
00:43Well, it looks fantastic here.
00:45...turning their possessions...
00:465,100.
00:47Like it.
00:48...into piles of money.
00:51Boom!
00:59Hey, Angus.
01:00Hey, Mark.
01:01You all right?
01:02Thanks.
01:03I've taken a lovely job.
01:04Yeah.
01:05There's quite a lot of it.
01:06I might have a look when I get back...
01:07...because I've got to shoot off.
01:08I'm going to see Oti Mabusi.
01:09Oh, strictly Oti.
01:10Strictly, yeah.
01:11Oh, right.
01:12Fantastic.
01:13Might get a dance lesson when I'm down there.
01:14Yeah.
01:15South African-born ballroom dancer...
01:16...and TV personality Oti Mabusi...
01:17...has appeared on numerous shows...
01:18...from Dancing on Ice...
01:19...to Loose Women.
01:20But she first cha-cha-charred...
01:21...her way into our hearts...
01:22...competing as a professional...
01:23...on Strictly Come Dancing.
01:24For seven years...
01:25...she taught a host of celebrities...
01:26...how to dance.
01:27...how to dance.
01:28I hope Angus packed his dancing shoes.
01:29I would absolutely dance with Angus.
01:30I would absolutely dance with Angus.
01:46I think you'll be a joy to teach.
01:50I think you'll be a joy to teach...
01:51Absolutely.
01:52Will it be a train wreck?
01:53Yes.
01:54Harsh...
01:55...but probably fair, Oti.
01:57fair Oti it's not every day one of the most successful dancers in the country
02:01rings you up do you like dancing I like strictly and she won it with Bill Bailey
02:06yes and I think Kelvin Fletcher as well you do know you're strictly don't I love
02:11a bit strictly Angus and Millie have a five and a half hour drive ahead of them
02:15to Oti's home in Berkshire I started dancing when I was really young I danced
02:21my whole way through high school I danced my whole way through University
02:24and then I decided to move to Germany and start my career as a professional dancer
02:29I ended up strictly come dancing in the UK because they founded me in Germany when I
02:36was scouted there by an agent from the BBC and I guess the rest is history Oti lives
02:43with her husband Marius and their two-year-old daughter my husband he is my
02:48original dance partner we met in Germany and I think we've we've just loved
02:54dancing together ever since it's when we are the most comfortable and we can
03:02have the most communication without using words it's when we're dancing you love me
03:07imagine if I was a normal wife so boring so boring we have only recently just
03:13moved to this house so it's our fourth month it's really really really new it is
03:18an 18th century house and it feels like our forever home and the feel of it is
03:24quite old Victorian kind of classic it's got a story to tell but we've kept some
03:30things from the old house and unfortunately I just don't match the house
03:34aha that's why our baby auctioneer is required I've asked Angus here today to
03:41help me auction some of the things that I do love dearly but unfortunately they
03:47just don't fit also we've got some things here from the previous owners we don't
03:51even know what they are but I'm hoping that Angus can use his expertise and find
03:55some little valuable hidden gems all right here we are
04:02all right so this is the first room oh wow we haven't literally been here for about four
04:32months so not long everything that we had was quite South African Safari bright
04:38colored and bringing that into the new house just didn't work okay well what
04:43sort of things we right okay we have a huge elephant in the elephant in the room
04:49yeah in the room so this actually was a gift and I got this the first year I ever
04:57was strictly who you were for the first one Calvin Fletcher I was supposed to be
05:01actually partnered up with Jamie Lang Jamie Lang ended up injuring himself in the first show and
05:07Calvin kind of came in as he was the reserve so quite the underdog and and worked really hard and
05:14evidently did extremely well enough about the underdog what about the elephant anything that
05:21reminds me of home I really love to cherish but this is a bit much I think the bright colors as
05:27much as I love it we haven't really found the spot in the house for it yeah I really like it
05:33you can happily sell that for you one for the van next okay we now have these four stools in the
05:45old house we set this island unfortunately though we can't find a place for them in this house they
05:50just don't they don't fit they don't fit I'm gonna speak a little bit lower because my husband does love
05:56them right but we are getting rid of them okay um just just out of interest we do do valuations for
06:03separation purposes
06:04if there's a real problem
06:07the divorce is too expensive I can't afford the divorce but I can't afford selling these
06:13you can let Marius know we might be able to get 50 pounds for them great
06:16or Millie do you want to get the van ready yeah we can go get the van sorted
06:19okay Angus so this is supposed to be sort of like a playroom it's not enough space we've got
06:35two baby cupboards but she doesn't use them anymore okay I've got children so I know must have really
06:41changed things for you this sort of new chapter completely I think my whole world now is about
06:46my daughter I've had to really adjust my career luckily I'm now working on loose women and that
06:54really allows me time to do the school drop yeah go there be on television and then I'll go fetch her
07:01and then she comes in and then we have dinner and then that's the day and speaking of work is this a few
07:07outfits now this was a dress that I wore on my first ever strictly final wow look at my waist
07:16that's tiny this is literally half my breasts now dance has been your whole life hasn't it from a
07:23young girl I started when I was three and it's it's not the only thing that I've done I'm actually a
07:29civil engineer I've got an interest in in designs and regional and town planning and water systems and
07:35irrigation that is incredible I never knew that you've managed to follow your passion yeah that's
07:44the thing I take it none of these are to go these are no none of these are for sale unfortunately right
07:49so if we can clear a bit space to get rid of the units out of here yes please next we have the garage okay
07:55no rest for the wicked Angus OT is going to keep you on your toes today oh my gosh it's like your
08:03workout isn't it welcome to the garage slash man cave we have this fridge here yes that has never
08:10been used so what why have you got it because I was doing an advert and they were like well if you
08:16fancy a fridge it's a double door fridge it's good fridge it's brilliant yeah OT's American style fridge
08:23freezer is made by Turkish electronics company Biko and comes with an ice and water dispenser cool eh
08:30have you ever been made into a fridge magnet do people still make fridge oh yeah they do massive
08:35we could like you know put a fridge man OT fridge magnet whatever sells good idea Angus why not use
08:43OT's magnetic personality to help sell the fridge OT is the sweetest sweetest lady you could meet you
08:50know what you know we see all these people on telly and things like that we forget
08:52they're real people and they have the same challenges like the rest of us moving house
08:57new child I mean it's a challenge for everybody I don't think it's going to be vast amounts today
09:02it's it's kind of very much household items we'll see what can get loaded up we'll try and create as
09:07much space as we can have you seen the box that's just over there oh green howards yeah oh we like that
09:17the green howards were a British army regiment nicknamed after one of their 18th century colonels
09:23Charles Howard and the green trim on their uniforms it's a regiment very close to our Angus's heart it's
09:31the greatest infantry regiment there's ever been they've been there at all the major campaigns
09:34incredible really obviously I was a green Howard obviously yeah it is fundamentally just a storage
09:44box but it's belonged to CSM so that's company sergeant major we've got the sergeant Jay hewitt
09:52hewitt the green howards it's a nice thing I I do like these military trunks it's a bit tired but that
09:58will sell purely because of the writing on it yeah we're not fortunes 50 to 100 but you know
10:03creates a bit of Yorkshire down there isn't it should we take it home yeah definitely while OT puts
10:12her famous feet up Angus and Millie get loading the bigger pieces of furniture including two wardrobes
10:18and the fridge freezer that's it with the heavy lifting done maybe we can relax for a minute ready
10:28go oh one two three four five one two three four five right leg right leg right leg ready go one two
10:45cha cha cha one two cha cha spin one two cha cha spin one two cha cha stop yeah
10:56a bun really you think what do you reckon there we go thank you OT probably best to stick to the
11:03day job Angus now what else can you find to take for auction cast metal fireback they were first
11:09developed in the 16th century and they were a thing of purpose all heating at that stage was an open fire
11:15these would sit at the back it protected the wall of the fireplace from heat damage and it also reflected
11:22the heat back into the room and then over time actually people thought my place looks quite
11:26good let's make it decorative this is probably a 20th century version of something much earlier shows
11:32kind of a blacksmith working in his forge and just a nice thing 50 to 100 pounds something like that but
11:39if you want to create a grand house in your home this is what you need with the last few bits loaded up on
11:48the van but Yorkshire Angus and Millie are done come on in see your children's playroom it's so open and oh
12:04she's gonna have so much fun I mean yeah I'm so happy right I'm off by to Yorkshire I'll see you
12:12say all day all right cheers 80 I'm so happy with Angus he was brilliant he was efficient there's just so
12:20much space there's so much potential in this room alone and I'm so happy it was really about clearing
12:28space making that space for a daughter that playroom and it's just been lovely it's not every day you
12:33can say you've danced with somebody like OT yeah been a special day so back to Yorkshire after your
12:39stellar dance performance now's your cha-cha chance to really impress OT by selling all her stuff on auction
12:47day Angus what we expecting quite a lot of furniture I'll do Jack with OT's things back at the auction
13:05house the team shake a leg to get it all unloaded whoa whoa the L athlete over it so everything can be
13:16researched and catalogued in time for sale day hi Charlotte hi Jeremy so what have we got here it's
13:24a print by the artist Louise Luton she specializes in doing very bright oil paintings of animals the
13:33elephants called Hugo there's a series of prints made and they were sold in John Lewis I think it's
13:38175 pounds they retail for based in Salisbury Louise spent 20 years working as a secondary school teacher
13:45before being inspired to painful time I think it's a really nice quality because it's actually quite
13:50well-texted isn't it actually feels like a canvas yeah it does I put it at 50 to 70 hopefully it'll go
13:56for quite a lot more than that let's hope for a jumbo price on sale day what you got there Angus gonna
14:06play as a tune this lamp of Oti Mabusi's is amazing oh never mind the lighting market has boomed in the
14:14last sort of ten years really and it's all about the look something a little bit different and doing
14:19something clever with lighting a lot of people will call this upcycling I think probably lights are the
14:26original form of upcycling and if you go back 20 years ago it was an old wine bottle that we converted
14:32into a lamp or old stoneware bottle nowadays we convert everything into lamps I've seen musical
14:37instruments like a trombone old tools and all sorts created into something a little bit different and
14:44if something can have a new life doing something else fantastic I think it should sell well we put
14:49sort of 60 to 80 on it as an estimate I'm sure we'll find a home for this oh T how are you doing you're
15:04all right yeah yeah how are you feeling nervous why cuz I've never done this before I don't know what to
15:12expect it's just like stepping out on stage is it yeah well no there's more furniture in the way
15:17and boxes of stuff but other than that it's fine I mean if you can do that this is easy okay come on
15:23head through and I'll catch up with you in a bit oh man it feels weird seeing it here
15:35oh no baby in her first ever bedroom these were her first ever closets oh man we it took us so long
15:49to put them together I was still in hospital and my husband would come back at midnight and just
15:57build them some of the furniture might be a little bit tricky the fridge look the fridge is really good
16:03so we'll find a home for that the elephant print you know it's colorful I think hopefully we'll get
16:08that away so I don't think it's gonna be groundbreaking results but it's just gonna
16:12be wonderful to have out in the serum she's gonna add a little bit of sparkle enjoy the auction it is
16:20quite strange seeing my stuff in the Yorkshire house but now I'm excited I'm excited to let them
16:26go I'm excited for them to be in a new home and I'm excited to see how they do well let's get
16:32started then Millie and Jasper are set to manage all those online bids well let's go now we just
16:40need Angus to put his best foot forward and strutty stuff on the rostrum welcoming to the sage oh
16:47see my booze just make happy first up it's the Louise Luton elephant print Hugo the elephants we start at
16:5780 90 120. Charlotte was right it's already smashed its estimate 120 pound a mid then 130 130
17:05it is then for the elephant at 130 pound this was on Oti's wall at 130 pound it is for Oti's elephant
17:11oh two of you coming at 140 I've got 150 on commission 150 160 in the room at 160 pound it is then at 160
17:18at 160 it is then at 160 in the room but 160 that's an elephantastic start 160 thank you very much
17:28now will anyone take a shine to this this is a bit of fun isn't it Oti's trombone floor lamp couldn't
17:35get it to play did we but it lights up 50 pounds start me 50 for Oti's trombone lamp
17:43come on bidders it's multi-functional bid 55 55 let's go good old internet bidders 60 65 65 65 bid 70
17:5370 pound it is then at 75 fresh bid 75 it is then at 75 it is then at 75 pound it's a bit quirky it's a bit
18:00different at 75 gobbles up at 75 hitting all the right notes and meeting its estimate next is the
18:11wooden chest that belonged to a sergeant in the green howards regiment military chest there 40 pound a
18:17bit at 40 it is then at 40 pound a bit of 40 at 42 2 2 42 5 5 5 45 48 50 i have
18:23the chest is shipping out to a bidder in bridlington you were just going to throw that out were you
18:38yeah it was by the skip it's but it was by the skits and here is something else angus saved from the skip
18:46oh this is interesting the 17th century style cast iron fireback it's what Oti used to train with uh
18:52what's your beat for this uh 30 pound a bit straight in 30 pound nice this is amazing
18:5632 5 8 40 40 pound a bit at 40 it is at 42 2 2 5 45 it is then at 45 something at 45
19:07that one got the online bidders fired up impressive so impressive prepare to be further impressed Oti as
19:15angus angus angus flies through six more of your lots including at 30 pounds a white laminate wardrobe
19:23with mirrored doors and that's 70 pounds the four velvet bar stools say bye bye marius
19:36bringing us to the last lot of the sale the bico american style fridge freezer it's actually a really
19:42really good combination fridge freeze it does the ice the water it's brand new and it comes with a
19:49very limited edition OT mibusi fridge magnet angus had these made up especially as if the fridge wasn't
19:57cool enough already one of three so this is a rare limited edition OT mibusi fridge i go straight in at
20:04120 120 and bid at 120. that's a commission bid on the low end of the estimate to start 130 140. the
20:11commission bid's not maxed out yet 150 160 170 180 190 i've got 200 210 at 210 with a limited edition
20:21fridge magnet at 210 is that why you're buying it sir no at 210 it is then at 210 i'm gonna sell at 210
20:30sold to the cool as a cucumber room bidder
20:32thank you very much sir with all of otis things waltzing off to new owners it's time to tango our way
20:41outside and find out the final scores hey OT hello are you all right yeah that was so much fun you were
20:48very very good any surprises the biggest one was the fire the fire back the fire back because that you
20:56found randomly like i didn't care about it didn't care about the box that sold as well it did well
21:03i suppose i must tell you what your grand total is the scores what is it seven well it is actually a
21:10seven 732 pounds yeah but it's been an absolute pleasure thank you no thank you for having me what
21:19what about my auctioneering skills 10 10 across the scale i'm actually really surprised with how
21:27the day went it was really exciting and like you get a little bit of adrenaline i definitely think angus
21:33did such a brilliant brilliant job and i would definitely feel like now i'm addicted to auctions
21:40like i'm hooked well OT caused quite the stir in the sale room it's wonderful loads of people
21:45really love seeing her here i think you know a few good results actually one or two things did
21:49well really really good day please for one of the nicest and nicest people you can meet
22:03charlotte there's a reason why you're coming on the job with me today
22:06yeah it's a very long drive is that the reason
22:10well you're insane yeah no no no i'm taking you home we're going to somerset we are um if that
22:18isn't exciting enough we're going to go see martin roberts oh my gosh yeah oh that's exciting
22:25it sure is charlotte martin roberts is one of the uk's top property experts and most popular tv
22:32personalities with decades of experience as a property developer under his belt he's presented a host of
22:40tv and radio shows but he's best known for the bbc auction show homes under the hammer which he's
22:46presented for over two decades it's about 5 000 properties that i've visited and about you know
22:5410 000 different ways of describing damp now this is a home i can't wait to see
23:10it's a six hour drive for angus and charlotte to martin's home in the somerset countryside
23:17through to the nice size living area loads of light coming in through the bay window there and i love
23:23the fact that we've got all this natural wood on the floors obviously somebody's taking a lot of
23:27trouble to actually uh strip that back actually it was a weekend of hell wrong series martin but it is
23:35a very nice house i didn't have kids when i bought it but it's turned out to be the most perfect family
23:41house i've been collecting stuff for years it is my passion i love going to car boot sales i love going
23:47to flea markets and i'm really good at buying stuff but i think it's about time that i should make you
23:52some money on it maybe and what might you spend this money on i'm renovating a pub a community pub
23:59in the the top of the ronda valley it's going to be a gastropub a boutique hotel and even by my standards
24:08it is chomping through the cash so maybe my wombling at all these fares and boot sales can actually
24:16be money in the bank which i'm now turning into cash good plan i bet he's got a nice house i reckon
24:24he might he must do oh here we are i think we're nearly here i expect i will be disappointed
24:31on what some things get because it's what a what somebody's willing to pay and they might not share
24:39my passion but i might be pleasantly surprised and at the end of the day every penny helps that's the
24:46spirit martin hello hello how are you doing all right nice to meet you good good charlotte charlotte
25:01lovely to meet you too wonderful you've got a welcome party oh look at this this is waffle and
25:05this is this is crumble and that's that's a noodle i love the names yeah thank you all food related
25:12i have to say that a lot of the stuff is in my carefully organized garage oh let's go to the
25:17garage it's down there okay you lead on yeah
25:23so how long have you lived here then about 40 years in this house yeah wow in that time
25:28much to my wife's annoyance i've filled it with completely piles of well i i call it collectible
25:34she calls it rubbish what's that there's a child i used to go to these steam rallies with my dad
25:39yeah and he was an engineer he was a scientist so i went to university got a degree in electronics
25:45electrical engineering okay so anything to do with steam and railways and engines it is amazing so
25:52this is a proper oh we like this five inch um steam engine okay that is fantastic which is
25:59absolutely beautiful no it's a fully functioning engine yeah i mean it will drive like a real train
26:04yeah steam um fantastic however you're not having that all right oh and after all that
26:11moving on to more steam stuff i found this it's something that's been scratch built but this this
26:17this manufacturer i understand stewart yes it's quite well known for their engineering they are
26:22established in 1898 in henley-on-thames as part of the stewart-turner group stewart models continue
26:29to make model steam engines at a factory in bridport in dorset today i quite like this the fact that it's
26:35it's got the boiler it's got the piston thing and then it's got a generator and you can connect it to
26:40a couple of light bulbs yeah so um i think that's really quite lovely that's really quite sweet
26:46hopefully it generates some bids a lot of musical instruments i can see you know one of the things
26:52i want to do in the pub is have an area with lots of musical instruments that the local kids can come
26:56in and play so i'm trying to get a real mixture of things wow i hope he's soundproofed the walls
27:02but i've got a few duplicates and one of the things i've got too hot is an accordion okay the first
27:06accordion was patented in vienna in 1829 martin's one isn't as old dating from the mid to late 20th
27:14century and made by german brand weltmeister do you play
27:24i think that's a no you know i can't play an accordion but i see the vision you know it works
27:31do your best yeah yeah just need someone who can play it the accordion should squeeze a few notes out of
27:37someone what else is up for grabs got this you might want to have some fun with oh the classic
27:45gladstone bag the gladstone bag yeah exactly but i love the detail on this i love the the brass fitting
27:51lovely isn't it just classic does it why is it called a yeah you know it's called a gladstone bag the bag
27:56manufacturer named it after the prime minister no no william gladstone was prime minister for a total of
28:0312 years spread out over four terms between 1868 and 1894. it's thought that london leather goods
28:10seller jg beard named the bag in his honor it is really the doctor's back because it was almost
28:17the standard that that's what the doctors carried around it's an iconic british bag it is that's lovely
28:22i mean that's a nice one and it's it's in good order bag it up angus not bad so far you know it's
28:28an auctioneer's dream opening up a garage like that and seeing all those wonderful items however
28:33i think actually selling things might be a bit of an issue for him and i think he's bought a lot
28:38of these items retail so he's probably paid a lot more for them than what realistically we're gonna
28:44get at auction so i'm gonna have to manage those expectations a little bit but he should be used to
28:49that he does that on his show i'm sure you can wheedle enough things out of martin to raise some
28:55cash for that pub project in wales angus so while charlotte readies the van let's check inside the
29:01house welcome i'm alton off i'm loving the house it's just been a great spot yeah it's a lots and
29:08lots of work to get it like this and it's ongoing we've got the fish tank in the kitchen and this
29:12open plan stuff so this is my office but i love i know i know i love surrounding myself by things that
29:19i love while i'm working with the collector's market things like toys it's all nostalgia driven
29:24of course it is it's so funny and when you've got the chance to buy these things when you couldn't
29:28yeah it's like yeah i'm gonna get a skeleton tricks this right it's in a box which obviously you'll
29:34know is always good is is quite important it's brilliant isn't it i mean it is just just genius
29:43doctor who's greatest enemies the daleks appeared in the very first season of doctor who in 1963.
29:50this tin plate wind-up dalek was released by london toy company codec in 1965. i mean it's so iconic
29:58isn't it the dalek but you know there's a real collector's market for it it's great it's got its
30:03box they're generally anywhere from 150 up to just over the fringe of pound mark so okay fingers crossed
30:11all the day what a great find i know you you you quite like this don't you rummaging around and
30:15bite i love it yeah it's my happy place yeah sunday mornings yeah going around the flea markets
30:21all the car boots well it looks like you have an eye martin because over the next hour angus and
30:27charlotte find many more enticing bits and bobs grab a box and we'll yes full steam ahead yes boss
30:35no it was a joke about trains stick to auctioneering
30:39right i can take this straight to the van and that's the cabinet glass top three right nick will
30:47relish investigating these two whatever they are models back at the auction house fantastic and
30:53hopefully it works a couple of spare batteries in the garage this electric mountain bike might be worth
30:58a few bob i do occasionally buy things on impulse and i think the electric bike was one of those
31:03it was sort of in the early days when electric bikes came out it's a really good one and i used it a
31:07few times i was like yeah actually you know what it's a lot easier to cycle around and it has sat
31:11there for years could be a wheel deal for someone and with that oh right we are done done
31:23hey hey all set we're all ready well you know what i'm excited i'm nervous i'm emotional we'll
31:30we'll see you up on auction day brilliant don't forget to read the legal pack oh your legal pack you
31:35got one have you in terms of conditions yeah i don't know apparently that's what you're saying
31:37it we haven't talked about commission by the way yeah yeah yeah yeah well you know obviously yeah
31:41i've got to pay for the van and charlotte's expensive you know do me a deal will you all right yeah yeah
31:46all right traveling safely it was really nice to meet angus and charlotte even at the 11th hour
31:52i was still thinking about grabbing them back that is how much of a problem but anyway no it's done now
32:00they're gone it's too late i think there's a bit of him that wants to take it all back
32:04off the van again he's talked about reserves so look we're going to get everything catalogued we'll
32:09go back to him with a pre-sale estimate of what we think everything's going to do at auction
32:14and we'll see about that anyway back to yorkshire back on the work i don't envy you angus martin's
32:19always after a good return let's hope it's not moans under the hammer on auction day
32:38back at the auction house once all martin's things are unloaded the team can start processing
32:43everything in time for the sale day right well this is right up my street i really love this we've
32:49got two really fascinating sort of industrial architectural engineering models of basically
32:57glasswork furnaces these have come from now defunct company uh called chance brothers they were a very
33:04well-known glass making company based in smithick models like this they were typically boardroom models
33:11and they're basically for when when customers come in potential customers they can be shown the
33:16the full level of industrial complexity that the company has on offer and what machines they might
33:21be using what i love about these is just the level of work and effort that's gone into them
33:26they're all metal all of the little nuts and bolts are real i would have said sort of mid 60s
33:32that sort of era they've both got nicely framed glass cases as well very specialist market obviously
33:40but they're just so fantastic an estimate would probably have to be around the one to two
33:45thousand pound mark smashing to maximize the price for the glass factory models nikki's cataloguing them
33:52as two separate lots hi charlotte hi jeremy here we have a dunhill table lighter it's a genie lamp is it
34:04yeah this is a mid-century one so 1952 to 1960 these were manufactured yeah absolutely bang bang in
34:11it isn't it yeah and it's silver plate presumably yes yes so um dunhill was founded by alfred dunhill
34:16in 1893 oh as early as i didn't know that so yeah and he was only 21 years old so young man to be
34:24entrepreneur yeah alfred dunhill initially specialize in automobile accessories and driving attire
34:30before expanding into cigarette lighters so how does it actually work so you we oh yes amazing i feel
34:39like we can quite confidently say there'll be a collector out there that wants it definitely
34:43let's wish for lots of bidders on sale day
34:46hey buddy hey how's it going good to see you in your neck of the woods yeah am i welcome to
34:59yorkshire i've got two real fears today i'm going to end up getting less than i pay for things that's
35:03number one number two yeah is i'm going to spend a lot more than you're going to raise from what i
35:08sell buying other things well that's that's a good day for me come on in and have a look great
35:16oh oh wow it's a while since i've seen these actually out where i can see them the detail is
35:27amazing but as long as it goes to a good home those scale engineering models are incredible i don't know
35:34they deserve to do well but i'm just not sure who will want them i think martin's perhaps overpaid
35:39for a few things and got a little bit carried away at antiques fairs so i think that might be a bit
35:43of a challenge to get the money that he wants on it oh here's the gladstone bag so i think i bought
35:49this at beauly auto jumble i thought i've got a great deal getting it for i think 110 quid and i think
35:57it's guided at like 50. great he's got a few reserves on i'm hoping we can hit those reserves
36:11but uh we'll see how we get on i am really really nervous i should be excited i should be thinking
36:18woohoo this is a first i've never sold anything pretty much ever what's the opposite of buyer's
36:25remorse that's seller's remorse yeah i've invented a new thing i've invented a new emotion that i'm
36:30going through today seller's remorse hey enough of that this is angus remember plus you have the
36:37formidable duo of millie and jasper each tackling those online bidders so sit yourself down with
36:43just 11 lots to get through and try and enjoy yourself good morning ladies and gentlemen we're
36:49delighted to have the martin roberts collection yeah there we go i'm sure you're all familiar with

38:19a bidder in london bagged that one oh great didn't lose quite as much as i thought i would
38:25i'm guessing you're better at property coming up the dunhill silver-plated table lighter which has
38:32a reserve of 70 pounds oh this is nice the genie in the lamp maybe the wishes will come true now
38:39i've got 60 bit 60 pound a bit at 60 it is then at 60 at 65 65 pound a bit at 65 70 surely nice

38:57can the model of a steam engine by stewart models inject some energy into proceedings it's a nice
39:06thing problem my favorite thing out of your house actually isn't it uh 200 pound i start at 200 pound
39:13and we come in online at 200 210 20 30 40 240 and bid at 240 lovely lovely thing at 250 60 70 80 90 290

39:27at 290 oh you might as well round it up for me 300 in the nick of time they do this to me at 300
39:34it is then commission bids out at 300 now we're picking up some steam he does work hard and over the
39:41next five minutes angus powers through five more lots including at 100 pounds
39:47the electric mountain bike and now at 50 the weltmeister piano accordion

40:05fired up the wonderful chance glassworks furnace boardroom engineering scale model how on earth did
40:13you end up with this in your garage i bought it ages ago because i just loved it and i thought i
40:17can never have enough hours in my life to make something like this the the detail is incredible
40:22it is there's no reserve on these models so let's hope the bidders agree uh 400 pound a bit at 400
40:29pound at 400 let's be on now 400 pounds at 400 we're off now 420 40 60 80 500 520 540 i've got two of you at 540

40:44furnace up 620 640 it's a great great thing 660 680 you won't get another one well apart from the next lot
40:52but apart from that at 680 they're the only two we don't say that back in at 700 but that's why you
40:58want the pair yes exactly for 720 at 720 it is then at 720 at 720 pounds right in the middle of its estimate
41:12the second glass factory model comes with its own table stand lovely lovely thing amazing detail on
41:18it there watch me for this one 500 pounds army 500 i mean you really ought to keep the pair together

43:11future buying will i be selling stuff it's too much of an emotional roller coaster probably not
43:18most of my wife's annoyance i think we did all right for martin actually uh we hit all the reserves
