00:20Both Roberts and Kardashian shared the news on Instagram with this teaser video.
00:30The season titled Delicate is based at least in part on Danielle Valentine's upcoming novel Delicate Condition,
00:40which is described as a gripping thriller about a woman who becomes convinced that a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens.
00:49AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy said in a statement to THR,
00:52Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture.
00:56Murphy and Kardashian are friends, and the prolific TV producer and filmmaker is said to have been impressed with her well-received 2021 hosting gig on Saturday Night Live.
01:16They began speaking last summer about crafting a unique role for her scripted TV debut.
01:21Though Kardashian has acted before, this will be her most high-profile effort to date.
01:25It's worth noting, A-list stunt casting is not exactly outside of the AHS wheelhouse.
