00:10McCarthy and reunites the actress with director Ted Melfi and co-star Chris O'Dowd, who she worked
00:15with on the 2014 movie St. Vincent. The film follows McCarthy and O'Dowd as a grieving couple
00:21looking to move forward after the tragedy of losing a child. McCarthy's Lily deals with her
00:25pain by fighting a bird and seeking counsel from a psychologist-turned-veterinarian played by
00:30Kevin Kline, while O'Dowd's Jack heads to a facility for treatment. The Starling, written by Matt
00:35Harris, will be released in select theaters September 17th before hitting Netflix on September
00:4024th. The film also stars Daveed Diggs and Timothy Olyphant, among others.
