The second season of Ryan Murphy's 'Monsters' series is finally getting a release date. This next installment in Murphy and Ian Brennan's true-crime anthology will follow the well-known case of real-life brothers Lyle and Erik Menendez, who were convicted in 1996 for the murders of their parents, José and Mary Louise "Kitty" Menendez.

00:09This next installment in Murphy and Ian Brennan's true crime anthology will follow the well-known
00:14case of real-life brothers Lyle and Eric Menendez, who were convicted in 1996 for the murders of
00:21their parents, Jose and Mary Louise Kitty Menendez. The synopsis reads, while the prosecution argued
00:27they were seeking to inherit their family fortune, the brothers claimed, and remain adamant to this day
00:32as they serve life sentences without the possibility of parole, that their actions stemmed out of fear
00:37from a lifetime of physical, emotional and sexual abuse at the hands of their parents. Newcomers
00:43Nicholas Alexander Chavez and Cooper Koch portray brothers Lyle and Eric, while Javier Bardem and
00:48Chloe Sevigny star as their parents, Jose and Kitty. Monsters The Lyle and Eric Menendez Story will
00:53release on Netflix September 19th. The first monster installment revolved around Jeffrey Dahmer,
00:59played by Evan Peters, and launched in 2022 on Netflix. After that series became a monster hit,
01:05the streamer ordered two more installments and turned the series into an anthology that will tell
