00:00Let's start with that Packers-Lions game, because there was a lot on the line.
00:03Who was going to have supremacy here and try to fight down and catch the Bears,
00:06who actually played on Friday, but this was a very important game.
00:09The Packers handled their business already against the Lions, opening up in the season.
00:14Now you take a look at the Packers trying to return the favor and come back and say,
00:17we're going to beat you again, this time in your own building.
00:20Jordan Love, four touchdown passes in this game.
00:22The defense came up with the stops they needed, which included Micah Parsons,
00:25and we find ourselves, Joe, with the Lions at 7-5 after a 31-24 game on Thanksgiving
00:31to get the show kicked off.
00:32The Packers making their way back.
00:35Yeah, well, I mean, listen, the Packers did this in week one.
00:40I was a little shocked with how ridiculous the defenses were on both teams here.
00:47There were supposed to be the strong suits of them,
00:49and neither of them could get a stop in any way, shape, or form when it mattered.
00:54I mean, how many more fourth down, we're going to go for it, fourth down,
00:57oh, look at that, touchdowns, are you going to allow to happen there, Detroit,
01:01in your own building?
01:02So, you know, if the defense actually stands up on those fourth downs and, you know,
01:08can make a play, which they didn't, that may be a different game.
01:12But ultimately, I don't think it was Jared Goff and the offense that let them down.
01:17It was the defense that couldn't get a stop when it mattered the most there, Donnie,
01:20which is why Green Bay executed and Detroit didn't.
01:24So Green Bay certainly rolling into this next game and this next week
01:29with a lot of momentum and a big edge over Detroit moving forward.
