00:35You're currently filming season two, right?

00:37We are currently filming season two, and ABC, and Warner Brothers, and Disney.

00:43They want us back at work first thing tomorrow morning.

00:45I was like, can we get a late call, please? But we'll see what happens.

00:51Season two ended with a lot of, season one, I'm sorry, ended with a lot of things up in the air for Janine.

00:55How will we see your character really, you know, continue to mentor her in season two?

01:00I've got to honestly say this. I had no idea that things were going to be this wonderful for me in the character.

01:08I had no idea. So I am just going to lean into what the writer's room has planned.

01:14Lean into what it is that Quinta Brunton has planned, and that's all there's going to be to that.

01:20When you first saw scripts for season two, what was your initial reaction?

01:25I think we're probably one of the few shows on TV where my reaction doesn't matter so much as the network's reaction is,

01:32just go ahead, do more, do more. You're fine. Just carry on. I love that.

01:38I've been asking people today what show that's nominated they would love to guest star on,

01:42and so many people have said Abbott Elementary. They want to play substitute teachers.

01:45They want to play parents. For you, what's a nominated show that you would love to guest star on?

01:49Either severance or a succession. That's it for me. I love those two shows.

01:56I don't know what it is about them. They're very different. They're very dark in some ways,

02:00but they're the kind of dark that makes me happy. Yeah.

02:04And given that so many people would want to come guest star on Abbott Elementary,

02:07who is your dream guest star on the show?

02:08I've learned to have no dreams about who guest stars on the show.
