00:00So nice out isn't it? I know. And this view is beautiful. Yeah. Sharing your mom's story last
00:07night. Thank you so much for that. I really appreciate it. My mom got diagnosed with cancer
00:13right before I'm about to come on the show. It was literally just like a month and a half ago
00:17and I had to make that decision like should I come on to the show or should I go be there with
00:22her. How did she react to that? I spoke with her and she's like just go do it. It's not easy. It's
00:28really hard. I'm really feeling for him and I know that it's it's a really difficult thing to go
00:34through. I am so sorry about everything that that that has been going on but but I'm I'm so happy
00:40you shared it because sometimes it's hard if people don't really kind of understand it to like
00:44talk about it or like open up about it. We're in different situations but I know that like the
00:49more that I'm able to talk about it it helps me move through it and like find peace with it. I
00:55already knew Robbie was a good guy just being able to connect with him and and find that friendship
01:00is amazing. If you need anything while we're here or you need to talk about your mom please know that
01:06like you can you can do that. Same to you you know because sometimes even just talking about these
01:10memories can be a lot. For sure.
01:22How'd you guys sleep last night? Yesterday was tough but I mean overall it's a new day. I would love to
01:28get outside and sweat a little bit maybe kind of get my nerves out. Same. Start a new day fresh
01:33move around a little bit. Get in your body out of your head. The jitter sound.
01:36What is um one word that y'all are gonna like bring into today? Vulnerability you know I came
01:47in kind of just willing to go for it uh and that's all well and good but there's a whole other side to
01:54it as well that I need to explore more. Probably on the opposite end for me confidence. I feel like
01:59I need more of what you have you know and yeah take this. Hey all right. I think we probably all
02:05could take something from each other. I'm waiting on some vulnerability here. Oh there you go.
02:09Thanks. Vulnerability. I'll give a little heart to everybody you know. Oh. Oh. Hey let's go.
02:17Being in the bottom two my confidence was a bit shaken. The other guys are really talented and
02:22the last couple advantages from the festa face-offs have been huge. They're becoming more and more
02:27valuable. I need one and I need it now. Oh my god we're gonna have to go. Are we going in those? And now
02:37from the Finding Mr. Christmas Marching Band please welcome Melissa Peterman. Oh wow.
02:52Hey guys welcome to the Fa La La Lawn. Let me hear you say it. Fa La La Lawn. Fa La La Lawn. I hope you
03:00stretched because we're about to have a ball. Literally. Today you will be rolling into the
03:06holiday cheer in giant inflatable ornaments and bowling down tree-tied treasures like the hunks
03:13that you are. This challenge is wild. What are you putting us through Jonathan Bennett? Here's how
03:21these trees will go down. In two heats of three you'll jump into a giant ornament and race to knock
03:27down six trees as fast as you can. You'll be timed and the fastest person out of the two rounds will be
03:34our winner. Oh it's sick. It's crazy. Win and you'll get an advantage in the next star quality
03:41challenge. Great. Yeah. Our first group up Marcus you'll be in red looking for the trees with the red
03:48ribbon. Okay. Craig you'll be blue looking for the trees with the blue ribbon and Davey you're gonna be
03:55yellow. Now remember the first person to knock down all their trees wins but be careful out there because
04:02if you knock down someone else's color that person gets the point. Marcus, Craig, and Davey go get
04:08ready. The rest of you can watch on the sidelines. Gentlemen step inside your balls. Oh my gosh this is
04:19real. But I've been thrown into some fires before and haven't been cooked so I'm ready. I've definitely
04:26never been inside of one of these inflatable balls before. It makes you automatically feel claustrophobic.
04:32All right my little hamsters. On your mark. Get set. Go go go go go. This is not going to be easy.
04:43We can't actually see where the ribbons are at. They're facing the opposite direction. It's kind of crazy.
04:47Go go go. Davey just knocked down one of Marcus's trees. One for Marcus. He's a giver. He's the gift
04:56that keeps on giving. I'm gonna have to be a little bit more careful about this. Go go go go go.
05:00Oh. It is just utter chaos inside this ball. Davey's got one. There he goes. Oh Marcus got the second one.
05:11Oh that was aggressive. Uh oh. Davey got another one. Marcus has gotten two of his down. Davey's
05:19gotten two of his down. I'm trying to figure out what's the quickest way to run and I kind of figure
05:24it out. I put my hands at the top and I'm like using that to keep me balanced almost. I want to
05:30make sure that these things break. Oh look at that. Oh man. It works better if you're standing up.
05:38Oh wow. Oh wow. Craig's got one down. Oh here comes Davey. Oh watch out of the way. Oh all right.
05:45There goes Craig. That's two for Craig. Oh my god. Oh my god. Davey has three. Marcus has four.
05:56Craig gets another tree. Another one for Marcus. Four trees for Craig. Oh wow. Oh my gosh. It is a tight race.
06:06This is a very exciting day in sports. They've all got five. This is Davey's last one.
06:16Davey wins. Congratulations Davey. Good job buddy. I won my heat. Obviously there's a second heat
06:24but seeing how far behind Craig and Marcus were was also encouraging. He set the bar really high.
06:30Yeah for sure man. Round two. Angel you're going to be green. Robbie orange and Rustin purple. I'm really
06:38going to have to give it my all. Hopefully I can stay safe and not get injured. Davey did it so fast
06:44and I know in order to beat him. I need to get a time that's better than his. Okay. Three. Two. One.
06:55All right here they go. They're coming in hot. They're coming in hot. Oh watch out. Oh. Angel got one down.
07:01Oh my gosh. I could have died. Oh my gosh. But what a way to go. Angel's moving.
07:06You'll speak at my funeral won't you. Thank you. Rustin's got one. Like a wrecking ball. Robbie's got
07:14one. Oh. Oh he just knocked down one of Angel's trees. Angel is in the lead with two. Watching
07:20heat one I was able to figure out my strategy. The fastest way between two points is a direct line.
07:26I'm going to hit all the trees on the left and then I'm going to hit all the trees in the center and
07:30on the right on the way back. Robbie got another one. Oh my gosh. Angel just knocked his third
07:38tree down. These guys are in it to win it. I'm going at 100 miles per hour. I'm going wild. Full
07:44throttle. Rustin's got another. Angel is on fire. Angel's got his fourth one down. Another point for Robbie.
07:53Angel is in the lead with four and Robbie and Rustin are tied with three.
07:57That's four trees for Robbie. Angel don't backtrack. Wait Angel no what are you doing? Angel you're going
08:05the wrong way. I didn't know if I was forgetting one three so I slowed down and lose my momentum.
08:11Angel just had to turn around. Angel to your right. Oh Rustin. Oh Rustin's got another one down.
08:19Robbie's got five trees. He's in the lead. Go Robbie finish up. There's so much chaos. Rustin's got another one.
08:27Angel has one more. I love it. Jonathan this isn't going to come true. Angel has two more trees to get down.
08:32Oh Robbie got his last tree. Robbie. Robbie crossed the finish line first.
08:42Robbie Rustin Angel. I'm here with some really physically fit guys but I've kind of learned that
08:49I can do anything and to not count me out. The fastest times today were between Davey
08:54and Robbie but it was literally a matter of seconds. Wow. Robbie already has the advantage of a lot of
09:03experience. I feel like I really need this one going into the next star quality challenge. The
09:07hunk that took down their trees the fastest is... Davey congratulations.
09:19Thanks fellas. Good job. Good job. Good job. Davey how's it feel? You won a festive face up. Yeah it feels
09:25good finally. I haven't had an advantage yet so I'm a little bit nervous with what's to come. Do you want
09:30to know what that advantage is now? Yeah. Davey the star quality challenge will be an acting challenge
09:36and you will be able to sit and watch the other actors perform with me and Melissa. That's another
09:42crazy one. That's a huge advantage. So you'll be hearing the notes we're saying, the commentary we're
09:48saying, all the things that we're pointing out that are going right, all the things we're pointing
09:51out that are going wrong. You'll be able to sit there and listen. I feel good I guess that I got so
09:58close. I'm sticking my feather in that cap but a feather is not an advantage in the star quality
10:04competition. Coming up let's run it that way we don't waste more time. Brilliant. Yeah so originally
10:12we were thinking that Rustin took charge. Who is like your guys' leader right now? I think we've all
10:17contributed a significant amount. Those were off. They almost feel like they're overacting a little bit.
10:28Touchdown. How old were you when you joined sports? T-ball. So like the first time you could sign up
10:33for youth sports. I was such an introvert and I was so quiet as a kid and I was painfully shy.
10:40Two and kind of through high school and it was sort of sports that had that built-in sense of community
10:45where you automatically have friends. I felt shy introverted all through high school because I was
10:49I was chubby and then I got in shape and I still felt introverted. I felt like I was I was fake in shape.
10:54Like it didn't really feel like it was me yet. Sports was that outlet. It kind of forced you
10:59to be extroverted. With every day I feel like I'm growing so much. I'm getting closer to the other
11:03guys. We help each other out. We root each other on. From the moment I could walk my parents told me
11:09I was always I liked playing with balls. Basketball, baseball, the football, whatever. A lot of the guys
11:13that I was friends with at childhood stopped playing sports and a lot of them you know unfortunately
11:21some of them are gone now. So sports kept me on the right track and you know I definitely wouldn't
11:26be here. So you know I'm grateful. Sports is a good way to stay out of trouble as a kid. I think for me
11:31it kept me out of trouble you know. I played division one college football. A big part of that is because
11:35of my dad. He pushed me. There were lots of times where it was challenging. I set the bar really high for
11:40myself and and I have high standards for myself. I expect to do well and if I don't I get frustrated.
11:48It seems like we're all coming from just drastically different circumstances to lead to the same place
11:52you know. I really feel like we we have such a bond. It's become a brotherhood really quickly.
11:57You know I appreciate you guys for that. It's rare and it's it's special. I'm going to miss you all
12:03as you keep going one by one.
12:09See what kind of advantage Davey gets.
12:10There's a smoker a beat smoker. Wow I like these looks. Hey guys welcome to the Christmas block party.
12:21It's time for your annual neighborhood street snow show. Wait what now? Snow show. Snow show. Snow and a
12:28social. I like it. It's a snow show. We're having a snow show.
12:31In this star quality challenge you guys will work in two teams of three to perform the same script.
12:41Your challenge is to make the scene uniquely your own. The scene will be set at a merry lane mingle
12:48with all the chaos that happens when you bring neighbors together. Each group will have to decide
12:54who plays which part and how you will bring the scene to life through your energy your choices
12:59about what you do and the way you interact with each other. It's all on you. It's a hunk production.
13:05Okay I like that. I like that. We're looking for great teamwork and while you will work and act
13:10together we want you to each find a way to shine individually and to join the fun this hallmark star
13:16is an actress and producer you've seen in movies like santa summit and holiday touchdown a chief's love
13:22story. Is it Hunter? Is it Hunter? Is it? Is it? It is. Please welcome Hunter King.
13:34Oh my gosh. I'm so excited. Hi guys. Hi. She is hallmark royalty. I'm so excited to be doing this
13:44scene with her. I'm so excited to be here. I'm a huge fan of the show. I can't wait to meet all of
13:48you. Thank you for having me. We're so excited you're here. So they're going to be performing
13:52a scene in a group with you. Oh wow. You know group scenes are some of my favorites to film.
13:57They're so much fun but there's a fine balance when you're filming them. You don't want to upstage your
14:01co-stars too much the whole time but you also don't want to fall into the background. I sometimes I like
14:07to steal a scene. You? I know you would never believe it but I do like to steal a scene. But I will say that
14:15there's a way to come in and sparkle and make yourself notice without upstaging somebody.
14:19Wow. Great. Team one is Robbie, Rustin, and Marcus. Okay. Team two is Davey, Angel, and Craig. All
14:29right. Yeah. All right. Let's go. Let's get it boys. Let's get it. You'll have one hour to meet with your
14:34team and decide how you want to play your scene. Then you will just have 10 minutes to fill Hunter in
14:40before we call action. Davey, since you won the festive face-off, you're going to sit with Melissa
14:45and I while the other group goes first. Okay. Here are your scripts. Determine who's playing which part
14:52and think about bringing the scenes to life. All right. Good luck. Good luck. Think about casting.
14:59Have fun. All right. Let's go in and sit down. Let them do the work. Come on. Let's go in.
15:02We already got the job. Yeah. We're already on the show.
15:10Dude, this scene is a comedy. Of course it's a comedy. Absolutely. This is funny.
15:14So the scene we have to perform today is about two brothers at a neighborhood party meeting their
15:20sister who's bringing a boyfriend for the first time. And we have to choose who's going to play who.
15:26Obviously, brothers. Yeah. Uh, boyfriend. Absolutely. Any preference on man one or two?
15:34Man two right away says dude. And I feel like you say dude. Yeah. And I was like, all right,
15:40there you go. This is a comedy scene. So in order for that to come through, you have to have fun.
15:45Like, we're brothers. Yeah. Like that has to come across. I think so too. Yeah. That brotherly banter,
15:51that football slap in your butt, the towel type thing. Yep. And then, uh, you're this outsider who,
15:57um, you know, let's put you to the test, buddy. Yeah. You know, bring it on. I don't have a sister,
16:01but I could imagine. Growing up, I had an older brother and a younger brother. We're always giving
16:05each other a hard time, joking around. So I'm hoping to kind of bring that out in this scene.
16:10All right. Casting. Is there anyone that drew you guys to anything? Maybe have us be brothers.
16:16You guys riffing off each other. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I'll do man one. And I'll be man two.
16:21I'm jealous that you'll get to be Hunter's boyfriend, but you know what? I think you'll be
16:26really funny in that part. Okay. Okay. I like it. I like it. I think you could take it. Yeah. No,
16:30I can take it. I can take it. Being the new boyfriend, meeting the siblings and the family,
16:35I feel like I've done that before. And I felt like I could relate to that character. The brothers do
16:40something devious to mess with man three and ruin the picture. A leading lady snaps the photo.
16:44Yeah. We have to have the joke of the ruining the picture. Epic. Yeah. Oh, absolutely.
16:49Let's start thinking of ideas. Like how can we ruin the picture? So probably like she's had a lot
16:56of other boyfriends that she's like brought home in the past. Yeah. And we're always so judgmental
17:00because we care about her. We love her. She's our little sister. Little sister. I think so.
17:03We're caring for her. Yeah. So the last few years, I've gotten some really incredible opportunities
17:07to direct everything from new plays to big musicals. Where are we wanting to set up the scene,
17:13right? We can, we could probably make a set up here at the table. Yes. And I can walk out of the
17:19house right there. I just want to make sure that he's going to be able to hear. Right. We can know
17:23the lines. I think that it's incredibly important to be able to throw ideas in the hat and figure this
17:30thing out together. That definitely seems like the best shot, right? This seems like the most reliable
17:36place. Yeah. We could frame it up here and you just walk off over into this corner or something along
17:40those lines so that if you don't actually have to leave. My instinct would be that someone needs
17:44to be the director. So I do have experience doing this. Let's just, let's just like go through it and
17:49just talk through the story a little bit. We're trying to get all of this down in a very short
17:54amount of time, but we have to all be on the same page. And that's like, what is happening? Like, what
18:00is going on right now? Coming up. Yeah, we're so happy to meet you. I want them to feel more like
18:07brothers. Yes. Are you guys going to do the shake really quick too between the two of you? That was
18:11the moment. Right. That's okay. That's okay. How did we forget that one?
18:20Team one, your planning time is up. It's time for your 10 minute rehearsal. Yeah, we're looking
18:25forward to being able to discuss a lot of the stuff that we've already established with you and getting
18:29your fresh takes on this. Yes. Oh, great. I'm so excited. I want to see what you guys have planned.
18:33There's one more layer that we need to add since this is a block party. Would our background artists
18:38please join us. Come on over here. Oh, hey. Hello, hello, hello. Awesome. Wow. Come on in guys.
18:47Good. Perfect. Fantastic. Break a leg. Good luck. Thank you, Jonathan. All right. Let's do it.
18:51Okay. So it's a lot of pressure to, you know, tell Hunter kind of what to do because if she's not
18:56comfortable in the scene, then it's going to make everything else fall apart. So my brothers? Yes.
19:00My boyfriend. Okay. All right. What are we thinking? Yeah. So originally we were thinking
19:04that maybe this was a really good spot, but now that we have a better layout and understanding
19:08of where the background actors are and how the food is established, it's starting to feel like
19:13maybe our primary scene should actually be up here in front, right? I feel like I have a really good
19:19understanding of how we should be moving into the scene and out of the scene to make sure that we're
19:23getting the shots right for each of us in order to tell the story. Let's put these drinks over
19:28maybe on this table right here. This table. Sure. Rustin took charge. You have to think in a team
19:34mentality. You're only as good as your weakest link. So I want everyone to shine and bring it.
19:39Who is like your guys' leader right now? Is there like one designated leader between you guys? Is
19:43there someone that's kind of the director of the group or is it kind of a group project right now?
19:47It's like a group. Contributed a significant amount. Yeah.
19:50Robbie has ideas that he's bringing to the scene and I have ideas that I'm bringing to the scene.
19:54And it's more about just us navigating how those ideas work together. You guys want to run this
20:00really quick? Yeah. Let's give it a shot. What's up? Who brings eggs to a Christmas party?
20:06Deviled eggs. They're classic. And what did you bring? Brownies. Like a normal person. Okay.
20:12Rustin and I have developed a backstory that I'm kind of like the tech brother who's like really always
20:17working all the time on his phone. And he's maybe like the music guy who's a little bit more artsy. And so
20:22it's a fun kind of specific dynamic that we've created. Really great to meet you guys.
20:27Um, yes. Okay. So Shane, these are my brothers. Thanks for letting me crash the neighborhood block
20:32party. Knowing that the boyfriend role doesn't have as much screen time as the brothers roles do,
20:38I have to make sure that all the screen time that I have really counts. If you're comfortable with it,
20:43because it says like a cute, sweet moment, like a little like nose thing, like before we walk away.
20:48Sure. Yeah. So be like a little. Yeah. Little nose. Yeah.
20:51Cute. I'll be right back. And we kind of talked about like a look between the three siblings.
20:56Like we all know these are collectively better. We all have a little bit of cookie left in the mouth.
20:58Okay. In this challenge, it's so important to bring our own creative perspective to this. And so
21:04I'm hoping that our ideas will play out really well. Great job. Your time's up. Go ahead and put your
21:10props down. Get back in place. It's time to do the scene. Thank you so much. We figured it out and
21:15everybody was making sure that they were in front of their camera. I just got to make sure that I bring it in my own
21:19way. Davey, since you won the advantage, you can join Melissa and I at the monitors.
21:24Totally. It's great to be in the booth with Melissa and Jonathan. And I'm curious to see
21:29what they're going to come up with. All right. Places. Top of the show. Roll sound. Roll camera.
21:35Everybody set. Settle. And action.
21:40Who brings eggs to a Christmas party? Deviled eggs. They're a classic. What did you bring?
21:49Brownies. Like a normal person. Oh, wow. Oh, it's Leah. She, uh, she says she's here.
21:56You've never met this guy, right? Nope. But 20 bucks says he's wearing a polo and khakis. Nah.
22:05My money's on, uh, stress jeans. You're on. Oh, all right.
22:11Okay. Do we even want to know what you two are shaking on?
22:14Uh-huh. Merry Christmas. Hey, guys. Merry Christmas. Get over here, sis. Good to see you.
22:20Play of yourselves. Okay, uh, you guys, this is Shane. And Shane, these are my brothers.
22:27It's really great to meet you guys. Yeah, we're so happy to meet you.
22:33I want them to feel more like brothers. Yes. So, uh, what do you got there? Oh, cookies. I baked them
22:39myself. But you guys should probably know I've never actually used the oven, so I don't know if they're
22:43actually going to turn out very good. Oh, a risk taker. I like it. Hey, I am sure they're going to be
22:49delicious. Maybe you guys should try one before I set them out. Yeah? Oh. Yeah. Yeah.
22:58Come on, guys. Thanks. Yeah.
23:05I love how they take their time. Milk this moment. Yeah. Yeah. These are
23:14there's something. There. Like nothing I've tasted before. There. So good.
23:21You guys are lying. They're terrible, aren't they?
23:24Mm-mm. Mm-mm. Mm-mm. Baby, there. They're really...
23:28So good. Yeah. I'm just... Well, I'm really thirsty. Would you want to get me something to drink?
23:33Sure thing.
23:36I'll be right back.
23:43Those were awful.
23:46What did he put in those? Rubbing alcohol?
23:48Oh, come on, you guys, please. I said to be nice. No, see, this is why I never introduce you to anybody.
23:54What do you mean? We're nice. We are always kind to your boyfriends.
23:58Really? Because the last time I brought a guy home for Christmas,
24:01you lured him into the backyard when the sprinkler system was on.
24:05That was an innocent mistake.
24:08How did we know that Mom kept the sprinklers on in the middle of winter?
24:11Yeah. They almost feel like they're overacting a little bit, these two.
24:14Can I just go easy on him, please?
24:18I figured you guys could use one after having to eat those cookies.
24:22No! No! No!
24:23Good, good. Guys, guys, guys, guys. It's okay. I forgot to put the sugar in the cookies.
24:32That tracks. It happens.
24:36It's the thought that counts, babe.
24:38What do you guys say we take a little selfie to commemorate me bombing the first introduction?
24:44I'll take it. Ready? Say Merry Christmas!
24:48Merry Christmas!
24:52Have fun with that. Your brothers look stupid. Go for it.
24:56Make me laugh. Make us laugh.
24:57And I would like to propose a toast to new friends.
25:02Yeah, dude, don't worry about the cookies, man.
25:04We're happy to have you. Thank you.
25:06Oh, thanks, guys.
25:08Okay, I'm gonna send our selfie to everyone really quick.
25:13Really? You guys, that is so immature.
25:17Gosh, really?
25:18Hey, come back here.
25:21Oh, you are nothing but trouble.
25:22Hey, dude.
25:25I think I'm gonna need another one of these.
25:29And cut!
25:30What did you learn?
25:32A lot.
25:34Take your time. Don't rush.
25:35Don't rush.
25:35Do you have brothers?
25:36Yeah.
25:37Yes.
25:37Do you guys give each other, like...
25:38Totally.
25:39Do me that.
25:39We're gonna be channeling through that.
25:40I want you and Craig to be the people that we love to hate.
25:43Yeah.
25:43Robbie and Rustin didn't necessarily bring the same kind of brotherly energy that I knew Craig and I were gonna bring.
25:49So I think that'll play to our advantage.
25:51This is gonna be fun.
25:52Yeah, yeah.
25:53Let's go.
25:53Have fun.
25:54Have fun, have fun.
25:55You got this.
25:58Coming up, there was some sort of power struggle happening.
26:01Merry Christmas!
26:03Oh, I think it's raining, guys.
26:04One of you out-acted the other just by a hair.
26:15That was fast.
26:16That was quick.
26:17The moment when we eat the cookies, like, really take your time.
26:21Taste the cookie.
26:23Yeah, rather than bite.
26:24Nasty.
26:25You gotta taste it first.
26:26With the advantage, I also feel like it comes with a little bit of extra pressure.
26:29There's probably gonna be some expectations to perform.
26:32For the photo, photo vomit.
26:35However big you can, you know, without, like, disrupting the scene.
26:38So I kind of hashed out some last-minute things to prove to myself and to everybody else that I belong here.
26:44Hi, guys.
26:44Hey, ladies.
26:45Hey, team two.
26:46Davey, your team has 10 minutes to rehearse.
26:49Okay.
26:49Perfect.
26:49Good luck.
26:50Now, is there, like, a leader?
26:51Is everyone working together as a team?
26:53Working together as a team.
26:54Yeah.
26:54Okay.
26:54Yeah.
26:55All right.
26:55I love it.
26:56Do you want to show me what you guys have planned so far?
26:57Yeah.
26:58Okay.
26:58Yeah.
26:59Going into rehearsal, I'm not worried about me.
27:02I want to make sure my guys are going to shine.
27:05If they start shining, Hunter and I are going to shine.
27:09Before we start the rehearsal, we need to find our marks because we have our cameras.
27:14Yeah, we should get our cameras.
27:15T-mark.
27:16Yeah.
27:16And this is the Y.
27:17I helped co-direct this short film.
27:20Having that experience, I know how to hit certain marks and make sure the camera can see us.
27:27She'll end right here and here, and that way we both have our cameras.
27:30Okay.
27:30So it'll be kind of maybe one of these lines.
27:31Sure.
27:32I'm more or less letting Angel dictate a lot of the situation with this scene.
27:36Take the lead.
27:37Cool.
27:37Let's run it.
27:38That way we don't waste more time.
27:39Okay, cool.
27:40And I feel good about us.
27:42Ready?
27:42Yep.
27:43I want to immediately establish the fact that we are brothers.
27:46So we decided to improv a couple lines at the very top of the scene.
27:51Nice outfit, man.
27:51Did mom dress you up in that?
27:53Yeah, probably.
27:54You got a blazer.
27:55You running for office or what's going on?
27:57Watch camera.
27:59What's going on?
27:59Craig and Davey.
28:00Yeah.
28:00If you don't mind.
28:01Go ahead.
28:02Do your scene to your cameras.
28:04Set this up and find a moment that brings you back here.
28:08Yeah, yeah.
28:09Looking at the space so then when we come in, you don't block our cameras.
28:12Yeah.
28:13You have to find your camera so it can see the faces.
28:16I'm starting to sweat.
28:17Not because of the weather, but because of how this is going to turn out.
28:23Nice outfit, man.
28:23Mom dress you up in that?
28:24Yeah, probably.
28:26There is a lot happening here.
28:28It's a group ensemble, a bunch of dialogue.
28:31Are you guys going to do the shake really quick too between the two of you?
28:34That was the moment next.
28:35Right.
28:35That's okay.
28:35That's okay.
28:36That's okay.
28:36Because I got to reference your shake.
28:39How did we forget that one?
28:40I'm just hoping that I can latch on and do the best I can.
28:43And Shane, these are my brothers.
28:45Shane.
28:45Hey, Shane.
28:46What's going on, Shane?
28:46It's great to meet you guys.
28:47Yeah.
28:48What do you got there?
28:49Cookies.
28:50I baked them myself.
28:52The success of a scene isn't just about one person.
28:54It's about all of us.
28:56So Craig and I are kind of trying to lean into the playful brother act
28:59without being overly obnoxious.
29:01Everybody say Merry Christmas.
29:03Merry Christmas.
29:05It finally started to come together.
29:07Ah!
29:08You guys are so immature.
29:10I guess I'm going to need another one of these.
29:13Here we go.
29:14Let's do it.
29:14Now we have to kind of bring this thing to life.
29:17I'm hoping we don't commit the same mistakes.
29:20And action.
29:22Hey, dude, really loving that outfit.
29:24Did mom dress you up in that?
29:25Nope.
29:25Dressed myself.
29:26What's up with the blazer?
29:27Are you in your eggs running for office?
29:28Or, I mean, who brings eggs to a Christmas party?
29:31Deviled eggs.
29:32Literally classic.
29:33What do you got?
29:34Brownies?
29:35Yeah.
29:35I got brownies like a normal person.
29:38Whatever.
29:39Oh, it's Leah.
29:41Huh.
29:41She said they're here.
29:43Hey, have you actually met this guy?
29:44No.
29:45Uh, 20 bucks, though, says he's, uh, polo khakis kind of guy.
29:50My money's on distressed jeans.
29:52Yeah, you're on.
29:53You're on.
29:53Oh, they're there.
29:54Oh, here.
29:55Hey.
29:55Do I even want to know what you two are shaking on?
29:57No, you do.
29:58No, no, no.
29:58Okay, please behave.
30:00Yeah, yeah.
30:01You guys, this is Shane.
30:02Oh, Shane.
30:03Shane, these are my brothers.
30:05Hey, Shane, what's going on?
30:06Hey, Shane.
30:07How are you?
30:07It was really great to meet you guys.
30:09What do you got there?
30:10Some cookies?
30:10Cookies.
30:11Yeah, looks like it.
30:12Yeah, I baked them myself.
30:13All right.
30:14I've never actually used my oven before, so I'm...
30:20Sure, why not?
30:22Thanks.
30:22Let me know what you think.
30:23Hmm.
30:26Wow.
30:26Mmm, that's...
30:28That's something.
30:31Mmm, that's so good.
30:33Craig is so good.
30:35I'm a little thirsty.
30:35Would you mind getting me something to drink?
30:37Sure thing, baby.
30:38Okay.
30:39Oh!
30:39Davey is coming alive.
30:45It literally tastes like rubbing alcohol.
30:46I was nasty.
30:48You guys, no, come on.
30:49I said you had to be nice.
30:51See, this is why I never introduce you to anybody.
30:53We are nice.
30:54Really?
30:55Because the last guy that I brought home for Christmas,
30:57you lured him outside in the backyard when the sprinkler system was on.
31:00Whoa, that was an innocent mistake.
31:03I mean, how are we supposed to know that mom puts the sprinklers on in the winter?
31:05Who does that?
31:06Yeah.
31:07Okay, well, look, I really like him, so just go easy, okay?
31:09All right, all right, all right.
31:09I figured everyone needed one after having to eat those cookies.
31:13I made an honest mistake.
31:15I forgot to put the sugar in.
31:18All right, it's an honest scenario, guys.
31:20Thanks.
31:20What do you say if we fish these cookies and the four of us take a selfie
31:26to commemorate me totally bombing our first introduction?
31:30Let's go for it.
31:30Yeah, yeah, go on that side.
31:32But I like that idea.
31:34All right, everyone say Merry Christmas!
31:36Merry Christmas!
31:37Oh, I think it's very nice.
31:40Oh.
31:40Oh.
31:41He poured the drink on his head.
31:43Brilliant, Davey.
31:45Don't worry about the cookie thing.
31:46We're, yeah, we're glad you're here.
31:48Thank you, guys.
31:49You really are the best.
31:51Hey, okay, I'm gonna send the selfie to everybody real quick.
31:54Yeah.
31:57Come on, you guys.
31:58It's so immature.
31:59Really?
32:00Hey, get back here.
32:02Hey.
32:04I think I'm gonna need another one of these.
32:06Nice.
32:08And cut.
32:12There they are.
32:12Hey, guys.
32:13Hey.
32:13How you feeling?
32:14Hey, guys.
32:15How'd it go?
32:15How'd it go?
32:16Oh, no.
32:17That's a confident looking guy right there.
32:18Yeah, yeah.
32:19I know, I know.
32:19How'd it go, man?
32:20How'd it go, man?
32:20Hey, hey, hey.
32:21Bro, I always feel confident after.
32:24Davey's advantage really helped us out, and I think we crushed that scene.
32:27But Robbie, Rustin, and Marcus, they're really strong.
32:30So, I mean, this is a coin toss.
32:32As far as, like, that selfie moment, I was pretending to spill my drink on Angel, and I actually, like, spilled a little bit of it.
32:38After we were done with it, I was like, I hope my hair is okay.
32:41He was a great sport about that.
32:44Let's talk about team one. Robbie, Rustin, and Marcus.
32:48I felt like Marcus did a really good job playing that boyfriend role because the other two brought a lot of energy and a lot of strong choices.
32:54I do wish Marcus maybe brought up his energy just a little bit, like he said in that nervous.
33:00Yeah, matched the room.
33:00Match the room a little bit.
33:01Mm-hmm.
33:01Robbie did feel like he was overacting.
33:04I wanted maybe to see that more, um, I actually love my sister.
33:09A little bit of a real moment, like, you know what, we love you.
33:12Yeah.
33:12A little bit more of that.
33:13Yeah, agreed.
33:14Now, for me, this was the first time where Rustin and Robbie, I felt, were disconnected in a scene.
33:20And I think it's because they had a little bit of a challenge with the leadership of this scene.
33:26It just felt like there was some sort of power struggle happening.
33:30Let's talk about team two. Davey, Craig, and Angel.
33:34There was a few times I thought that Davey could have, um, reacted more and stayed in it and filled the space.
33:39Yeah.
33:40Because Craig was giving him so much comedy, so much gold.
33:43He could have reacted to the other actors more in that scene.
33:48Agreed.
33:48Yeah.
33:48Agreed.
33:49Craig came in hot.
33:50I think he's so funny.
33:52And you know, I'm a sucker for a funny guy.
33:53Uh-huh.
33:54The faces he made, the choices he made, did mom pick that out?
33:57That was really smart.
33:58I love that. It established their relationship immediately.
34:01He felt super present.
34:02I felt like that the whole time from him.
34:03I really enjoyed his performance.
34:05And what about Angel?
34:07He was a great team player.
34:09Yeah.
34:09The one thing with Angel is I think sometimes he can lose a little bit of the momentum in the scene.
34:18Uh-huh.
34:19We have a big decision to make, but unfortunately, one of our guys has to go home.
34:24No.
34:25I don't want to.
34:26Good luck with that, Hunter.
34:27Good luck, Hunter.
34:27Oh, yeah.
34:28We're leaving this decision to you.
34:29Yeah, we're going to leave this up to you.
34:29No, you stay right here.
34:30You stay right here.
34:31Bye-bye now.
34:32And you come with it.
34:32Bye-bye.
34:33Yeah, let's go.
34:33Bye-bye.
34:34Bye, Hunter.
34:34Bye.
34:35Have fun making the decision.
34:36All by yourself.
34:37I think we get rid of Jonathan, right?
34:40No?
34:41Okay.
34:42Walking into each elimination now, there's no more feeling safe.
34:55There's no more feeling confident.
34:57We're getting down to the nitty-gritty, and anyone can go at any time.
35:01Hello, gentlemen.
35:03One of you will be named this week's shining star, and one of you will be headed home for the holidays.
35:08In today's Star Quality Challenge, we asked you to work as a team, help each other shine, bring your own twist to the script, and show us your star quality.
35:19All while staying connected to each other and your incredible co-star, Hunter King.
35:23Hunter, how do you think the guys did?
35:25I think they all did a really great job.
35:27It was so much fun getting to work with them and watch them grow as actors.
35:31There can only be one shining star tonight.
35:34And that person was a team player, used their gift of acting to elevate their co-stars,
35:43and the person that added comedy, along with believability, when it came to portraying brothers.
35:52The winner of the Star Quality Challenge and tonight's shining star is...
36:00Craig, congratulations.
36:01Oh dear.
36:02I think you really shined in that scene, and you had great instincts.
36:17I thought I was gone, man.
36:20I've been doing this a long time now.
36:24You audition, and you audition, and you audition, and you audition, and you audition, and you audition.
36:27It gets exhausting.
36:30Yeah.
36:30Well, congratulations.
36:32You were very, very funny in this scene.
36:35Thank you. Thank you.
36:37Angel and Davey.
36:39You're safe.
36:42Rustin.
36:44Marcus.
36:45Robbie.
36:47One of you will be going home.
36:51Okay.
36:51Robbie, how do you feel this challenge was for you today?
36:54Right at the beginning, I thought that there maybe should be one voice.
36:58But then I thought, actually, for this, it was really nice to work collaboratively with my team,
37:05for us all to have a say.
37:06Rustin, tell me about the part you played in your team.
37:09I felt that Robbie and I were really in sync.
37:12There was a lot of overlap that made it feel like we were both really, like, on the same page.
37:16I felt like Marcus was such a team player, and he had some great collaborative recommendations.
37:22And I almost felt like watching you guys interact with each other gave me that thing to act off of.
37:29Okay.
37:29Yeah.
37:30That makes sense.
37:33Rustin.
37:37Robbie.
37:39Will you please step down?
37:40In today's challenge, you both were at fault for competing with each other when we asked to work as a team.
37:48That leaves us to judge you purely on your acting in the scene today.
37:54And one of you out-acted the other just by a hair.
38:01One of you will be going home right now.
38:05I'm not ready to go home.
38:07I want to stay here.
38:08My palms are sweaty.
38:10I'm so close to having a dream, like a slip through my fingertips.
38:15Unfortunately...
38:21Robbie, it's time to take your stocking down.
38:25You're going home for the holidays.
38:31This has been like a life-changing experience.
38:33You have been such an important person to me for so long.
38:36And to have been picked by you to come here is beyond my wildest dreams.
38:44And I just want to make you proud.
38:47You made me proud, and you made our community proud.
39:03That means the world to me.
39:04Yes.
39:05Give it up for Robbie.
39:13Robbie, Robbie.
39:14Robbie, Robbie.
39:14Robbie, Robbie.
39:15The thing that I didn't know about being here is just how close I was going to feel with the other guys.
39:19They're so wonderful, and to be accepted by all of these guys is so meaningful.
39:25I know it seems cliche, but you have to follow your dreams.
39:29You have to go do it.
39:30You have one life.
39:31You have to shoot for the moon, and if you miss, you'll land among the stars.
39:35I didn't make it to the moon, but I'm definitely landing among the stars.
39:42We're at the stage now of splitting hairs, so you've got to bring it to every challenge.
39:48We'll see you next time as we continue the search to find Mr. Christmas.
39:53I don't think anybody saw this one coming.
39:58Robbie has been a big-time player from day one.
40:02We're down to the final five now.
40:03This is serious.
40:05It's anyone's game.
