00:00Previously on Finding Mr. Christmas, I guess I'm learning to ride a horse today.
00:07Never go behind a horse, man.
00:09Eight holiday hunks were still jingling all the way toward that Hallmark leading role.
00:14In the festive face-off, the guys built gingerbread houses that showed off their Christmas spirit.
00:19These look awesome.
00:21Then, in the star quality challenge, this is a cowboy Christmas.
00:24They shared the screen with a Hallmark superstar and a scene-stealing horse.
00:29A real-life cowboy on our hands.
00:31Kind of in my blood.
00:32Some hit their stride.
00:33I don't rust till I get it.
00:35Is it hot in here or is it rusted?
00:37While others stumbled, Marcus delivered pure leading man energy.
00:42Yeehaw, look at you.
00:44The one that has never been a horse before, flawless.
00:46Congratulations.
00:48But for Logan...
00:49You just want to grab your reins?
00:50We missed a lot of the lines.
00:52It was the end of the road.
00:53Take your stocking down.
00:54You're going home for the holidays.
00:56Now, seven hunks remain as we continue the search to find Mr. Christmas.
01:08How do you feel about last night?
01:09That was something.
01:10Seeing Logan and Gabe on the bottom two.
01:15You guys talking about me or what?
01:16Yeah, man.
01:19I'm just going to make all of these.
01:20Oh, you're making eggs?
01:21He eats Craig the Egg.
01:22That's what they call me.
01:23I guess I'm not eating breakfast today, then, if you're doing it.
01:26Okay.
01:27I was going to make for six anyway.
01:29Oh, okay, perfect.
01:31We were saying, we were talking about, you know, last night.
01:38Second time down there and you've survived both times.
01:40Congrats.
01:40How are you feeling?
01:41Well, I feel grateful that I'm still here.
01:43You deserve to be here, man.
01:44Yeah.
01:45It is a new day and I'm going to give it my all like I have every time.
01:48But it takes a little bit to feel good again after rejection.
01:52Like, it's not like, if I didn't want this, then.
01:54You mean you're a human being?
01:55Yeah.
01:55Oh, wow.
01:57There's only seven of us left and the competition is getting tougher and tougher.
02:01I have something to prove.
02:03I just got to stay focused and keep going.
02:05I'm just happy to be here with you guys.
02:07I'm glad that I get to wake up and talk to you guys after a tough night like that.
02:13We believe in you.
02:14Thanks, man.
02:15Appreciate you.
02:16100%.
02:17I can tell Gabe has what it takes to be successful in this career.
02:23His charm, his smile, his temples, his energy.
02:27And I want him to shine.
02:29Look at this.
02:30Look at this hearty breakfast.
02:32Oh, I got it.
02:32Here you go, guys.
02:33It looks excellent, so.
02:35It looks excellent, man.
02:37Has everyone here worn a festive face-up?
02:40I have not.
02:41I haven't.
02:41But who's, like, won something?
02:44Almost everybody here.
02:45I haven't won anything.
02:48You've won our hearts.
02:49You're winning by being here.
02:51Oh!
02:54Let's go find him.
02:55Let's go find him.
02:55Where are they?
02:57It's time for another festive face-up, and whatever it is, I am ready to take it because
03:03it is time for me to win.
03:05Come on down, boys.
03:06Oh, my God.
03:07What in the world?
03:08I'm hoping to make this three festive face-off wins in a row.
03:13Hey, guys.
03:13Hey.
03:14Seven of you remain in the game as the competition is heating up like chestnuts on an open fire.
03:20And let me tell you, that's hot.
03:22While you're all incredibly talented, only one of you will walk out of here with a leading
03:27role in a Hallmark holiday movie and be crowned Mr. Christmas.
03:31Yeah!
03:33In today's festive face-off, you'll be slipping like a baby reindeer on ice.
03:38Here's how it's going to snow down.
03:41Starting at the top of this icy hill, you'll dash down this slippery mountain like a runaway
03:46train, grab your candy cane, and run up the slope like you're racing towards the North
03:51Pole.
03:51And repeat this pattern three times.
03:53Oh.
03:54Each of you has your own color candy cane.
03:56That's the only color you can use.
03:59The first hunk to get all three of their candy canes into that giant mug and ring the bell wins.
04:05I absolutely need to win this.
04:06I could use any advantage I can get.
04:09Before you slip, slide, and slay the frosty hill, I need to bring out the peppermint stick
04:14to my hot cocoa.
04:16Please welcome the one and only Melissa Peterman.
04:21Yay!
04:24Oh my gosh, I've been waiting behind that tree since 5 a.m. because I'm so excited for this one.
04:30All right, guys, go and get changed.
04:31I'll see you back here, ready to slide all the way.
04:34Let's go, let's hustle, go, go, go, come on.
04:37Jonathan, man, you're my guy, but these challenges, dude, like, you better watch your back.
04:42You're in for it.
04:43There's going to be some payback coming your way.
04:48You guys ready?
04:49Oh, yeah.
04:50I almost slipped down.
04:51Dude.
04:51Watch out, don't slip down.
04:52It's already slippery.
04:54Like, is this going to be dangerous?
04:55Are you guys ready to start?
04:57Because I am running on candy canes in excitement right now.
05:00Yay!
05:01The fun starts now!
05:12Oh, be careful, be careful!
05:13So for this challenge, we have to run all the way down to one side of the hill, grab our candy cane,
05:19and then run back up the other, steeper side in order to put it inside a tin cup.
05:24Whoever gets all three of their candy canes in the cup first wins.
05:28Oh, no!
05:29Maybe low center of gravity and trying to crawl up the hill might help me out.
05:33I was a sprinter in high school, so I know speed and endurance are going to matter the most in this festive face-off.
05:45Here comes Gabriel!
05:46Here comes Gabriel!
05:47This is very slippery and very steep.
05:50I need to get as much momentum as I can to get back to the top.
05:54To the top!
05:55Oh, my gosh!
05:56Gabe is a machine!
05:57Gabriel's got one in!
05:59There goes Angel.
06:00I think my soccer skills are going to come into place.
06:04It's all about speed and sliding.
06:06Oh!
06:07All right, that's Angel!
06:10Angel's got one in!
06:13Oh!
06:14Oh!
06:15Oh!
06:15Okay, Gabriel just wiped out!
06:19Russell just wiped out!
06:20Gabe, are you okay?
06:21Oh, my God, I'm tired!
06:23You guys, you're machines!
06:24You can do this!
06:27I'm making zero progress.
06:29Dude, there's no way!
06:31I can't figure out what to do.
06:32Come on, Marcus!
06:33It's very tiring!
06:34Let's go!
06:34Oh, no!
06:35How did you guys get up this?
06:37This is going to be hard.
06:39Speed's going to come into play.
06:40I weigh a lot more than almost every single guy.
06:43No!
06:43They might have more stamina.
06:46You know, I don't do a lot of cardio.
06:49Oh, my God!
06:51How did you get?
06:54Mayday!
06:54Mayday!
06:55A lot harder than it looks.
06:56And I just feel myself slipping backwards.
06:59Robbie!
06:59Robbie!
06:59Robbie!
07:00You got this!
07:00You got this!
07:01Robbie!
07:03And my dreams of winning that third festive face-off
07:06are also slipping away.
07:08Dang.
07:09You okay?
07:10You okay?
07:10Yeah.
07:11Come on, Rustin!
07:11Come on, Rustin!
07:12You got this!
07:13Oh, no!
07:17What the heck, dude?
07:19Are you kidding me?
07:21Oh!
07:23Oh!
07:23This is not a good strategy.
07:26I'm going to have to go as fast as I can
07:27in order to be able to catch up.
07:32Woo!
07:33Dang, he's in!
07:35Okay!
07:35Oh, shit!
07:36Oh!
07:36Oh, man.
07:38I'm tired.
07:39I have my second candy cane in hand.
07:43I'm going to run really fast and make it to the top.
07:47Here we go!
07:47Come on!
07:48Angel, angel, angel, angel, angel!
07:49Come on!
07:51You can do it!
07:53No!
07:53Oh!
07:54Oh!
07:54Oh!
07:56Oh!
07:57Oh!
08:01All right!
08:02Angel, oh, here comes Gabriel!
08:04Gabriel!
08:04Gabriel!
08:05Oh!
08:06Gabriel just ate it!
08:07That was like chariots of fire for a second, and then it got real bad.
08:11Oh, my gosh!
08:11Gabe's got two in!
08:14And I'm gassed.
08:15I'm exhausted.
08:17After watching Gabe, light bulb went off.
08:20You can't crawl on this.
08:21You have to just run right through.
08:23Craig!
08:23Craig's got one in!
08:25Davey has one!
08:26Angel has one!
08:27Craig has one!
08:28Gabe has two!
08:29Does anyone need a hug?
08:30Yeah.
08:31Does anyone?
08:31I could use a hug.
08:33Okay, let's wait until you're changed.
08:36Angel dropped a candy cane.
08:38I know I have the lead.
08:39I'm just trying to recharge and regain some of my energy before I charge back up this mountain
08:45for the last time.
08:47All right, here comes Robbie!
08:48Come on, Robbie!
08:49Come on, Robbie!
08:50Robbie!
08:50Robbie!
08:51I am completely winded.
08:54Here comes Craig.
08:55Okay, Craig!
08:58Come on, Craig!
08:58Oh, my gosh.
08:59Craig!
09:00Craig, that's two!
09:01Now, I just need one more.
09:07I'm going to throw up.
09:08You got harder.
09:09I notice Gabe doesn't have more energy.
09:12This is my chance to get the win.
09:14Maybe if you take off your shirt, it'll be more aerodynamic.
09:17Here comes Angel.
09:17Here comes Angel.
09:18Ah!
09:21Angel's got two in!
09:23Gabe has two.
09:23Angel has two.
09:24Craig's got two.
09:26They each need one more.
09:27The next one to get one in wins.
09:29Does Angel just have to get this one right here?
09:32Thankfully, my other candy cane that I dropped earlier is already there.
09:37I don't have to run back.
09:38This could be for the win.
09:40Reaching, and I see Gabe behind me making it to the top.
09:46Oh, my God.
09:48Angel just got three hits!
09:50Angel is our winner!
09:51Congratulations!
09:52Every time a bell rings, Angel gets his win!
09:56Is this for real?
09:58Can someone pinch me?
10:03Good job, dude.
10:04We and the guys give each other the eye.
10:09Oh, my gosh.
10:10We're going to give Jonathan a taste of his own medicine.
10:13How's it going?
10:14You good?
10:14Oh, thank you.
10:15Oh, no.
10:15Oh, no!
10:16Oh, no!
10:17Oh, no!
10:18Oh, no!
10:19Oh, no!
10:21Oh, no!
10:23I'm so sorry I put you through that!
10:25Oh!
10:26No, no, no, no, no, no!
10:27Run, Melissa, run!
10:28No!
10:29Wow!
10:30This was a nail-biter, but Angel, congratulations, Angel!
10:33Yay!
10:34So good!
10:34As the winner of the festive face-off, you will be getting an advantage, which I will reveal at the Star Quality Challenge.
10:41I cannot wait to find out what this advantage is.
10:44Oh, and did I not mention, you all will be performing as a contestant in the Mr. Christmas Pageant.
10:52Wow.
10:53Wow!
10:54That is?
10:55That's right.
10:56It's your next Star Quality Challenge.
10:58That means each of you needs a talent to perform at the pageant.
11:02I'm a personal trainer and model.
11:04Okay, what the heck is my talent going to be?
11:06Hit the showers, boys!
11:08Yay!
11:11That was so much more exhausting and so much harder than I could have ever imagined.
11:16I was like, if I die trying, I will die.
11:19It paid off.
11:21That's the right attitude.
11:22That's great, man.
11:23That's great.
11:24I think it's interesting, though, that we're going to all have to do this Mr. Christmas Pageant.
11:29I was originally thinking, like, throw a football at targets, but, like, it feels kind of lame.
11:33My head automatically goes towards doing something active.
11:37I don't know what else I would do, you know?
11:39Obviously, my first thought is to sing, so I'm probably going to sing something.
11:43It's hard to not be jealous of certain guys like Rustin where you know exactly what their talent is probably going to be.
11:50You're probably going to bring it.
11:51I'm certainly going to do my best.
11:52My whole family was actually in a Christian ministry band that toured around Arizona.
11:57I sang, and my brother played the drums, and my mom sang, and I played the bass guitar, and my sister sang with us.
12:03We were like the Christian Partridge family.
12:05I'm a little scared.
12:06I don't know if I can think of a talent that is going to be worthy to stand up to you guys.
12:10So, hopefully, I can figure something out.
12:13Coming up...
12:17What's going on here?
12:18Welcome to Marcus's Magical Touch.
12:22You're getting kind of warm.
12:24Oh, my gosh.
12:28You are so composed since day one when I walked in and we started chatting.
12:33Thanks, man.
12:34My life has been such an interesting example of taking those moments that you have that are maybe difficult or tragic and overcoming them.
12:44I've been in some gnarly car wrecks, but the last time I went down on a motorcycle, I hit the ground at 90 miles an hour.
12:50Yeah, that's insane.
12:51And I slid for about 200 yards across all of the lanes.
12:56And didn't get run over.
12:59And to this day, I don't understand.
13:01But I'm as thankful as you could possibly imagine to be here.
13:05I think I have a significant appreciation for life for all the close calls that I've had.
13:11I think at this point in my life, I feel confidence and comfortability with who I am.
13:17It blew out my knee.
13:18It blew out my ankle.
13:19It blew out my shoulder.
13:20It slipped this to my back.
13:22I struggled with basic stuff, you know, like walking, running.
13:26I'm so thankful to come out the other side of it with like the capabilities that I have and the knowledge that I have from learning from those experiences.
13:32It just, I feel like I can take on anything.
13:36But it's one of the reasons that I value and appreciate all these opportunities that we have.
13:40Like, you can't take that for granted, you know?
13:44Rustin has always been so confident and unshakable in big moments.
13:48I think the best impetus to reach success is having setbacks.
13:52But if you focus on the things that you have as strengths, you focus on the things that you can accomplish,
13:56you focus on the things that you do have to offer, those are the things that are going to show up.
14:00And that's what I'm focusing on.
14:01I honestly have no idea what Jonathan has in store for us, you know?
14:08Right.
14:09It's always a surprise.
14:10Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
14:11Guys, what's that?
14:12Look at that.
14:14Wait, wait, wait.
14:15They're pageant sashes.
14:16Yeah.
14:17Oh.
14:18We also have this, guys.
14:20Let me do this.
14:21What's it say?
14:22Read it.
14:23Mr. Christmas.
14:24That's me.
14:25Oh, it's for me.
14:27After your uphill dashes, here are your sashes.
14:32See you at your next star quality challenge.
14:35Sincerely, Jonathan.
14:36You guys ready to cruise?
14:37I'm ready.
14:38I'm ready.
14:39Ready?
14:40Let's go dash out there.
14:41Let's do this thing, guys.
14:42Let's go.
14:43Let's do this thing.
14:44Does this sash go with my outfit?
14:47Oh, here we are, guys.
14:49Here we are.
14:50This is it.
14:51Let's do this thing, guys.
14:53Let's go.
14:54Let's go.
14:55Let's time.
14:56Woo!
14:57Woo!
14:58Woo!
14:59There's a lot of people here.
15:00The intensity of this challenge is level up.
15:03Come on in.
15:05Woo!
15:06Welcome to the Tinseltown Theater.
15:08Woo!
15:09Woo!
15:10Guys, say hello to your audience.
15:11Woo!
15:12Woo!
15:13Woo!
15:14This is your next star quality challenge.
15:16The stage of the competition where you get to show off and show us your talent and pageantry.
15:23This is the Mr. Talent pageant.
15:26Woo!
15:27Woo!
15:28Woo!
15:29In pageant fashion, you'll be asked some hard-hitting hunk questions into what makes you authentic and a true leading man.
15:36And those will be coming from our special guest judges and Hallmark superfans, Gail and Alicia.
15:43Hey!
15:44Hey!
15:45You might recognize Gail and Alicia from the Hallmark show, Christmas at Sea.
15:49If anybody knows what makes a Hallmark leading man, it's a Hallmark superfan.
15:53Our fans' opinions are super important to us, and their voice matters.
15:58That's why we're so happy that they're here.
16:00And today, they're going to be very essential to you.
16:04Mm-hmm.
16:05They, along with Melissa, myself, and your guest judges,
16:08will be deciding your fate
16:10and voting on the winner of the star quality challenge.
16:13To be successful in this challenge, we're going to really have to connect with the audience through our performances.
16:22I'm a rock singer.
16:23That's right in my wheelhouse.
16:25Gentlemen, you'll be judged on originality, showmanship, and, of course, star quality.
16:31Let's get this show started, shall we?
16:34Craig, why don't you stay up here with me? The rest of you guys, go take your seats.
16:39I know that this is a good opportunity for me to bring some wit and some humor into this.
16:44First up is Craig!
16:49It's showtime.
16:59Oh, my gosh.
17:00What's going on here?
17:01Fricka!
17:12This is a song I wrote.
17:13It's called, I Am Mr. Christmas.
17:16DJ, spin it!
17:20Here we go, yo.
17:21Clap your hands at the beat, everybody.
17:22Hey.
17:23Yup, that's it.
17:24Uh-huh.
17:25I am so cold with a packed jacket.
17:28Like Intense Player, because I'm back with a racket.
17:30All this charisma.
17:31I do not lack it.
17:32These bars are a gift.
17:33You can say that I wrap it and sign at the bottom of the card.
17:35You already know I go hard.
17:37He's working the crowd.
17:39He's looking really cool.
17:40Let me, did you say Mr.
17:42Mr.
17:43Say Christmas.
17:44Christmas.
17:45It's definitely showing personality.
17:48Say Mr.
17:49Mr.
17:50Christmas.
17:51Christmas.
17:52That's me.
17:53Yeah!
17:54Yeah!
17:55Yeah!
17:56Yeah!
17:57I bet you didn't think you'd see a rapping Santa Claus today, did you?
18:00No.
18:01And now Craig, it's time for the questions from the super fans.
18:05So, that was quite unique, what you did.
18:08But what other unique quality or trait would you bring to the Hallmark family?
18:14I think I can bring a lot of different traits to the Hallmark family.
18:17I'm in touch with my emotions.
18:18You might not see that from, you know, the jokes and the rapping up here on stage.
18:23But I think it's incredibly important for a leading man to be able to go through all
18:28of his emotions, you know, be vulnerable out there and let people see who he truly is.
18:34I think that I can bring that to the Hallmark family.
18:38All right, all right.
18:39Craig!
18:40Good job, buddy!
18:41Get out of here!
18:42Give it up for Marcus!
18:45All right, Marcus!
18:48Welcome to Marcus's Magical Touch.
18:52So today, I'm going to be showing a little card trick.
18:56But first, I'm going to need an assistant to come up on stage with me.
19:00Oh, right here in the white with the bow on your chest.
19:05Come on up, come on up.
19:06Yes, come on up, come on, come on.
19:08This is my first time actually performing this for a crowd of people on a stage.
19:13And you don't know how the person that you bring up onto the stage is going to react.
19:18The trick can go wrong.
19:19Lovely assistant, can you please tell me your name?
19:22Brooke.
19:23Okay, Brooke.
19:24So you're going to need this right here.
19:26Oh, Brooke.
19:27This is for you, Brooke.
19:28Wow.
19:29There we go.
19:30Okay, now Brooke, choose a card, okay?
19:32Don't tell me what it is.
19:33Make sure you choose the right card.
19:35Don't choose the wrong one.
19:38Gently put it right back in.
19:40Let me know when you have it back in there, Brooke.
19:42All right, Brooke, which row is your card in?
19:45This row.
19:46This row right here, okay.
19:47So we're going to go ahead and scoop these cards right back up.
19:50I was helping him practice for his talent the night before and he wasn't getting it right.
19:53In front of a live crowd, you get one shot and one shot only.
19:57So Marcus, I hope you nailed this.
20:00And here.
20:01Okay, Brooke.
20:02So the last time, where is your card at?
20:05Which row is it in?
20:06It's in this row.
20:07It's in this row now.
20:08Ooh.
20:09Now we're going to pick all these cards up.
20:11We are going to lay these cards out.
20:14I'm just hoping the talent is interesting enough that everybody in the crowd is really invested
20:20on whether or not I'm going to be able to pull it off.
20:23Please pick one of the powers for me.
20:25Ooh, you want this one, okay.
20:27Let's get rid of all of these.
20:29She wants that one, ladies and gentlemen.
20:30She wants that one.
20:32Please pick two more cards for me.
20:34Pick this one and this one.
20:35Ooh, we'll see you guys later.
20:37Ooh, we're down to two cards, everybody.
20:39We're down to two.
20:40Ladies and gentlemen, do you think one of these cards is her card?
20:43Yeah?
20:44Okay.
20:45I am sitting on the edge of my seat, just like hoping and praying that Marcus is going
20:49to be able to pull this trick off.
20:50All right, Brooke.
20:51Was this the card?
20:56Coming up.
20:57Hey, everyone.
20:58I have been on stage before.
20:59I have never done this on a stage.
21:03Bachata.
21:04Let's go.
21:05Ah!
21:06Oh, I'm getting it.
21:07I'm going to pick this one.
21:08Okay, everybody.
21:09Let's see here.
21:10Was this the card that Brooke chose?
21:11Everybody, please give it up for Brooke.
21:12Give it up for Brooke.
21:13She did amazing.
21:17Marcus, we have some questions for you.
21:18Hello, lovelies.
21:19Hello.
21:20Hello, lovelies.
21:21Hello.
21:22Hello.
21:23So you just won the lottery.
21:27Who are you calling first?
21:28If I just won the lottery, I'm 100% giving my mom a call.
21:29It would be a dream to take care of my mom.
21:30Make sure that she never has to worry about anything for the rest of her life.
21:34I'm extremely relieved.
21:35I got the trick done.
21:36I did it right.
21:37Give it up for Marcus.
21:42I'm really hoping that was enough to win them over.
21:43Go.
21:44Give it up for Marcus.
21:49I'm really hoping that was enough to win them over.
21:50Go get them.
21:51I have been on stage before.
21:52I have never done this on a stage.
21:53You're killing it.
21:54Thanks.
21:55And I think that this is either going to go really great or really bad.
21:58Give it up for Robbie.
21:59Hey, everyone.
22:00Can we just talk about eggnog?
22:01It tastes like milk lost a dare with alcoholic pancake bag.
22:03It tastes like milk lost a dare with alcoholic pancake bag.
22:04I'm really hoping that was enough to win them over.
22:05Go get them.
22:06I have been on stage before.
22:07I have never done this on a stage.
22:08You're killing it.
22:09Thanks.
22:10And I think that this is either going to go really great or really bad.
22:14Give it up for Robbie.
22:15Hey, everyone.
22:19Hey, everyone.
22:20Hey, everyone.
22:23Can we just talk about eggnog?
22:25It tastes like milk lost a dare with alcoholic pancake batter.
22:30Okay?
22:31Another one of my favorite holiday traditions is the food, right?
22:35In November, I'm finding Mr. Christmas.
22:38But by January, I'm finding my elastic waistband.
22:42Yeah.
22:43True.
22:44True.
22:45No, but I am honored to be here with Jonathan Bennett.
22:48In Mean Girls, Jonathan was the high school heartthrob.
22:56On Hallmark, he's more like the high school principal.
23:03Boom!
23:04Right?
23:05Right?
23:06Right?
23:07Christmas, it's not about the trees.
23:08It's not about the eggnog.
23:09It's about family.
23:11It's about togetherness.
23:13And learning that if Jonathan Bennett can make it on Hallmark,
23:16anything is possible.
23:18Thank you so much.
23:19Merry Christmas!
23:20Give it up for Robbie!
23:23I feel so good.
23:26They say the best form of flattery is to be roasted.
23:30And so thank you, Robbie.
23:32This is one of the coolest experiences of my life.
23:35Alicia, do you have a question for Robbie?
23:37Okay, so when you think about your life,
23:39what's one thing that you would like to redo
23:43if you had an opportunity to?
23:45About 10 years ago, my mom had a heart attack,
23:48and I spoke to her on the phone,
23:51and she said it was a minor heart attack,
23:52and it wasn't a big deal.
23:53And so she said, don't come home.
23:55And I thought, the best thing I can do for her
23:57is honor her wishes.
23:58I'm not gonna go home.
24:00About a week later, she had a stroke
24:03and was in a coma and never woke up,
24:06and so I never got that chance to see her
24:08or be with her or say goodbye.
24:11So if I could go back and redo anything,
24:15I would go home the second that happened.
24:18It's something I think about far too often.
24:21Yeah.
24:22When you go through something like losing a parent,
24:25it's so much easier to just bury those feelings away.
24:28But I found in my life that talking about these things,
24:32it's healing for yourself,
24:34but it is healing for more people
24:37than you can ever fathom.
24:39And now, give it up for Rustin!
24:43Hey, how's it going?
24:46What is up?
24:47Are you all having a good time today?
24:49Oh, yeah.
24:50So I'm gonna sing a song for you all
24:52about how it felt to meet my wife for the first time.
24:56Aww.
25:02One look and I'm drawn in
25:07One word and I'm back in my head again
25:12I've been with my wife Lindsay since December of 2016,
25:16and we actually met in a chocolate shop.
25:18She walked in.
25:19I was stunned.
25:20I said, you look adorable.
25:22We went on a date the next day,
25:24and after that date, I said, I'm in love with her.
25:26I'm gonna marry her.
25:27Cause it's you and everything
25:32And it's proven in the silence
25:37And it's knowing if we really had to
25:41We could do it on our own
25:45He is absolutely amazing.
25:52He is so naturally gifted.
25:54So in Hallmark, a lot of the movies, you know,
25:56they've gone through some sort of adversity.
25:58Right.
25:59Can you tell me a time when you had to go through
26:01some sort of adversity, and how did you feel?
26:04Um, I've been in quite a few accidents
26:06that have caused a lot of physical harm.
26:08And I think that the number one thing
26:10that I've found through all of it
26:12is that I was alive on the other side.
26:14I was here.
26:15I had something that I could look at
26:17as something that I had overcome.
26:23Thank you, thank you, thank you.
26:25Be yourself and have fun.
26:27Please welcome to the stage, Angel!
26:32Hello, everybody!
26:34Hola!
26:35Whenever I have a lot of eyes on me,
26:37I hear, in the silence, judgment.
26:40I put a lot of pressure on myself
26:43to not disappoint people.
26:45I grew up dancing Latin music,
26:48and it would be my honor
26:50to share some of that culture, love, happiness,
26:53and passion with all of you today.
26:55So, I will be dancing bachata.
26:58I would like to have a volunteer come up.
27:02You on the plaid, yes!
27:04Come up!
27:05Salsa, merengue, and bachata
27:07have shaped me into being outgoing, confident.
27:12What is your name?
27:13Kelly.
27:14Kelly, let's get the jitters out.
27:16Okay.
27:17So, shake your right hand, your left hand.
27:19You can just go, ah!
27:21Ah!
27:22There we go!
27:23This type of Latin dance brings a lot of joy
27:25and happiness to me,
27:26and I want to share this experience with the crowd.
27:32It's such a joy to dance.
27:38Yes!
27:39Let's give it a round of applause, Kelly!
27:41Thank you!
27:42Give it up for Angel!
27:44Gail.
27:45So, every Hallmark superfan knows that the leading man always does something to make the town better.
27:56What is something that you can do to make the world better?
27:59I would love to inspire by just being myself, coming to this country, not knowing any English, going through people that bully me, put me down.
28:10I never let that determine who I wanted to become.
28:14I want to be the example.
28:17Nice.
28:19Angel just keeps delivering that heart, that charm.
28:22He's probably my biggest competitor.
28:24Coming to the stage next, Gabriel!
28:28Doing this pageant is actually my worst nightmare.
28:31I get really nervous in front of crowds.
28:34I will be doing something very important to me, and that's a puzzle cube.
28:47Coming up!
28:48Are you getting warmed up?
28:49Yes.
28:50Woo!
28:51I'm getting kind of warm.
28:52I might need to sit down.
28:53What?
28:56One of you will be going home right now.
28:59Oh!
29:00Oh!
29:01So today, I will be doing something very important to me, and that's a puzzle cube.
29:12Yeah!
29:13While balancing on a balance board.
29:15Wow!
29:16Interesting.
29:17It's like an unconventional talent.
29:19So I need you guys to make some noise for me while I do this.
29:25Here we go!
29:27I chose the puzzle cube because it has a lot of meaning in the growth I've had as a person.
29:33Oops!
29:37As a kid, the first time I tried to do a puzzle cube, it took me two hours to figure out how to do it.
29:42And because of my perseverance, I was able to get that time down to 40 seconds.
29:47We believe in you!
29:52Oh, I'm getting it!
29:53I've spent all of my life thinking that I wasn't capable of great things.
29:58And the puzzle cube reminded me that if I just put my mind to something, I can really do anything.
30:09There it is!
30:10Great job, kid.
30:12Great job.
30:13If you had to think about your life, what would you tell your younger self?
30:16What would be the message?
30:18You have nothing to worry about.
30:19All you have to do is believe in yourself and everything will happen.
30:23Like what I just did here.
30:25Good job.
30:26Good job.
30:27And for your final hunk coming to the stage, give it up for Davey!
30:35Today I'm going to be taking somebody through a few holiday inspired exercises.
30:39So I'm going to need a volunteer from the audience.
30:43No, Melissa.
30:44No, Melissa.
30:45You can't volunteer.
30:46Let's go right here.
30:48Give it up for her!
30:49I've taught a million group fitness classes over the years.
30:52So I feel like that's kind of the energy that I'm going to need to embody.
30:56What's your name?
30:57Andrea.
30:58We have Andrea here.
30:59Have fun, Andrea.
31:00I want you to demonstrate this first exercise for me.
31:02Firmly plant your foot up on the box just like that.
31:05As you step up, go ahead and grab onto that for me.
31:09Okay.
31:10And I want you to reach that right up top here.
31:12Big reach.
31:13Step.
31:14Excellent!
31:15It's getting kind of hot in here.
31:16Are you getting warmed up?
31:17Yes.
31:18Woo!
31:19I'm getting kind of warm.
31:20Oh, my.
31:22Oh, yeah.
31:23Oh, my gosh.
31:24Yes!
31:26Those aren't even shorts.
31:27Nice exercise.
31:28They're the idea of shorts.
31:29I'm not typically the type of guy to just show off a lot of skin all the time,
31:33but I figured in this case it probably was going to pay off.
31:36This next exercise is a squat, all right?
31:38I want you to hold onto this.
31:39That gift might be kind of heavy, right?
31:41Nice and low with me.
31:42Ready?
31:43Get down there.
31:44Yeah!
31:45I'm a married woman.
31:47I have an adult son.
31:48Oh, wow.
31:49She looks good.
31:50And again, back up.
31:51Nice.
31:52She's so good.
31:53I want to throw one more at you.
31:54Is that okay?
31:55Okay.
31:56We're going to get down to all fours really quick.
31:57Okay.
31:58Get up like that.
31:59Oh!
32:00Oh!
32:01And then we'll add that little twist at the end, okay?
32:08Ready?
32:09No way.
32:10I'm just kidding.
32:11Give it up for her!
32:12He understood the assignment.
32:14I believe the person to be based on the crowd reaction is Davey.
32:20I mean, he nailed it.
32:22Jonathan, I need a minute.
32:23I...
32:24You and me both, Kim.
32:27Okay.
32:28What is your ideal Christmas morning?
32:31Growing up, my ideal Christmas morning was opening presents because that was the best part,
32:36right?
32:37But now I'm a dad and it's become less about the tradition of the gifts on Christmas morning
32:41and more about my son and our new family being together in the same room.
32:46Thank you all for being here.
32:48I know it was really hard work watching all these fantastic men in perfect lighting perform
32:53for you.
32:54Don't forget to drop your votes into your favorite guy's ballot box on the way out.
32:59Good night, everybody.
33:00Thank you so much.
33:01Go vote, everybody.
33:02Go vote.
33:03I'm kind of at a loss to see who's going to win.
33:06Like, everybody did so good.
33:08I just hope that I did enough to make it through another elimination.
33:13How do you guys feel?
33:15That was so much fun.
33:16Pretty good.
33:17Now, there's one more piece of business we have to discuss.
33:20We haven't revealed the advantage yet for Angel.
33:23That's right.
33:24Angel, you won the festive face-off and you will receive immunity in tonight's elimination.
33:31Here's the thing.
33:32You have the power to keep it for yourself or you can give it to one of your fellow guys
33:38who you think might be in jeopardy at going home.
33:42The choice will be yours.
33:44Think about what you want to do and I'll see you all at elimination.
33:48There's so many ways this can go wrong.
33:51It's a pressure I don't want.
33:53Thank you, but no thank you.
33:55Angel with the immunity.
33:57Yeah, Angel, that's got to feel good.
34:00But also kind of could be uncomfortable.
34:03Yeah, man.
34:04I have a lot to think about.
34:05All right, ladies.
34:06We can't wait to hear what you thought.
34:08Now, let's talk about who shined.
34:10The shirtless performance from Davey.
34:13How are you feeling?
34:14You okay, Gail?
34:15Yeah.
34:16My heart is back to normal rhythm.
34:18You recovered from Davey?
34:19Yes.
34:20Okay, good, good.
34:21Of course, personal training, the act and all that, that was great.
34:24What about his answers?
34:25He was confident.
34:26Even though he didn't go into great details about some things,
34:29but I was like, I get it.
34:30I connected with him.
34:31Then we have Rustin, who sang for us.
34:34I mean, can we?
34:36I mean.
34:37Hallmark, here we come.
34:39Yes.
34:40Because again, those emotions connecting with that.
34:42And he was not afraid to show that.
34:44Make it normal for men to show emotions.
34:46Yes.
34:47Like that's a wonderful thing.
34:48I just wish he brought that same openness to the answer of his question.
34:52He was a little bit hesitant.
34:53That was the first time, I think, in this competition that I saw a crack in Rustin's armor.
34:57Yeah.
34:58And then we have Robbie, who gave us comedy.
35:00I'll just say it first.
35:01Stand up is hard.
35:02So for me, I'm giving him giant, giant props for a big swing.
35:06And I thought he did great.
35:07Yeah.
35:08And his jokes were funny.
35:09What did you think of his Jonathan Bennett jokes?
35:10He roasted you a little bit.
35:11How'd you feel?
35:12When someone roasts you, it is the biggest compliment and the biggest form of flattery,
35:16and I love it.
35:17Yes.
35:18What about his answer?
35:19He answered the best.
35:21We talked about his mom, you know, and her situation.
35:25That touched my heart.
35:26And let's talk about who struggled.
35:28Craig.
35:29He gave us that rap that he wrote from scratch.
35:31A lot of confidence to come out and write this rap and share it with us.
35:35We were tapping under the table.
35:36I said, oh, and he has a little rhythm going with it and it was flowing very nicely.
35:40I think kind of when we got to the questions though, you know, he was a little hesitant.
35:45He did not really answer the question.
35:47He kind of skated around.
35:48He's bending.
35:49Yeah.
35:50I want to see more of the heartfelt part of Craig.
35:53Yes.
35:54So it's interesting that that's what you guys sort of keyed in a little bit too.
35:57Then we have Gabriel.
35:58This is Mr. Christmas.
36:00I need that personality to shine before anything else.
36:03And I just wasn't seeing it.
36:05It's like it was more in his head than here.
36:08I was worried the whole time that he was doing his act that he was going to fall.
36:11Yes.
36:12And as an audience member, I don't want to be uncomfortable when I'm watching an act.
36:15I don't want to be nervous.
36:16Yeah.
36:17I want to feel like I'm being taken care of.
36:18Exactly.
36:19This is a tough decision, but we have to make it.
36:22Yeah.
36:27Walking into tonight's elimination, I'm nervous.
36:30The results are in the hands of the super fans and the audience members, not just Melissa and Jonathan.
36:36That's a complete wild card.
36:38Hello, gentlemen.
36:39Welcome back to another elimination where you will find out which one of you will be today's shining star and which one of you will be going home for the holidays.
36:48Guys, we asked you to show us your talents today.
36:51We were looking for originality, showmanship, vulnerability, and all around star quality.
36:57That's why we had two of our biggest super fans asking you questions that would show them what kind of leading man you would make.
37:04Alicia, Gail, you were sitting front and center.
37:07How do you think the guys did today?
37:08You guys did a wonderful job expressing yourselves in a variety of different ways.
37:13Saw a lot of Hallmark star qualities, and so I'm just as nervous as they are.
37:19Before we go any further, we do have to talk about the angel in the room.
37:28I've been struggling with this.
37:30Will you be keeping the immunity for yourself, or will you be gifting it to one of your guys?
37:36There's a voice in me that's telling me, Mr. Christmas is not selfish.
37:42The person that I choose to have this immunity is Robby.
37:54Robby talking about the death of his mom really triggered.
37:57My late father, I know your parents are proud.
38:04I love you.
38:05I love you too.
38:07Angel, I know this was a tough decision for you, but the fact that you gave it away and didn't keep it for yourself is what being a Hallmark leading man is all about.
38:16It is a true leading man move, but oh man, I hope it doesn't backfire.
38:22Now let's talk about a few standout performances.
38:25Davey, you really woke up the fans today.
38:28You gave a literal clinic on how to entertain on that stage.
38:32That's leading man quality right there.
38:34Oh, thank you.
38:35Rustin, you did your original song, and the fans were brought to a beautiful place from it.
38:41Thank you. I appreciate that.
38:42There can only be one shining star, and today that person took a huge risk, answered the super fan questions with raw emotion, and received the most votes from the audience.
38:54The winner of this star quality challenge and tonight's shining star is...
39:00Robbie, congratulations.
39:04Sometimes, immunity is just not needed.
39:09Robbie, you were so brave today, and the audience agreed.
39:12You touched a lot of people, and we appreciate that.
39:15And you took a huge risk making fun of the host on the show that you are on where he is a judge.
39:22Sorry about all the things I said about you, but maybe I'm not.
39:25Now, the hard part.
39:28I could be going home.
39:30What have I done?
39:33Gabe, Craig, will you please step forward?
39:40All right, let's do this.
39:42Gabe, we've been asking you to believe in yourself, and today we saw a glimpse of it, which is progress.
39:50But you still seem in your head a little bit, and not in the moment.
39:54Gabe, Craig, you have this confidence that is undeniable, but it almost feels like you're hiding behind it.
40:01You weren't really comfortable answering in a very authentic, real way.
40:06Gabe, Craig, one of you will be going home right now.
40:11Gabe, it's time to take your stocking down.
40:25You're going home for the holidays.
40:27You're a star. I believe it. We believe it. We just want you to believe it.
40:34The only competition in your way is you. And once you conquer that, the sky's the limit.
40:40Gabe, thank you so much. We can't wait to see what you do next.
40:46I'm disappointed that I didn't get my confidence quick enough to stay in this competition.
40:51I feel like I'm on the right track now, though.
40:58The time is now to face any fears and go for it. Trust yourselves and take some leaps. I promise you it'll be worth it.
41:08We'll see you next time as the hunt for Mr. Christmas continues.
41:13I'm feeling such a sense of relief, but it still worries me Jonathan isn't seeing my depth or vulnerability.
41:20I need to find those other layers or I'm going home.
41:43once again.
41:44I hope to be near the last season.
41:46I hope to have a fun.
41:52I'll be right back.
41:55Bye-bye.
41:56See you next time.
41:57Bye-bye.
41:58Bye-bye.
42:03Bye-bye.
42:05Bye-bye.
42:06Bye-bye.
42:08Bye-bye.
42:11Bye-bye.
