00:00How do you feel about last night?
00:04That was something.
00:06Seeing Logan and Gabe on the bottom two.
00:10You guys talking about me or what?
00:12Yeah, man.
00:14I'm just going to make all of these.
00:16Oh, you're making eggs?
00:17It's Craig the Egg.
00:18That's what they call me.
00:19I guess I'm not eating breakfast today, then, if you're doing it.
00:21Okay.
00:23I was going to make for six anyway.
00:25Oh, okay, perfect.
00:26We were saying, um,
00:29we were talking about, um,
00:32you know, last night, second time down there,
00:34and you've survived both times.
00:35Congrats. How you feeling?
00:36Well, I feel grateful that I'm still here.
00:38You deserve to be here, man.
00:39Yeah.
00:40It is a new day,
00:41and I'm going to give it my all like I have every time,
00:43but it takes a little bit to feel good again after rejection.
00:47Like, it's not like, if I didn't want this, then...
00:49You mean you're a human being?
00:50Yeah.
00:51Oh, wow.
00:52There's only seven of us left,
00:54and the competition is getting tougher and tougher.
00:56I have something to prove.
00:58I just got to stay focused and keep going.
01:01I'm just happy to be here with you guys.
01:03I'm glad that I get to wake up and talk to you guys after a tough night like that.
01:09We believe in you.
01:10Thanks, man.
01:11Appreciate you.
01:12100%.
01:13I can tell Gabe has what it takes to be successful in this career.
01:18His charm, his smile, his temples, his energy.
01:22And I want him to shine.
01:24Look at this.
01:25Look at this hearty breakfast.
01:27Oh, I got it.
01:28Here you go, guys.
01:29It looks excellent, so...
01:30It looks excellent, man.
01:32Has everyone here won a festive face-up?
01:35I have not.
01:36I haven't.
01:37But who's like won something?
01:39Almost everybody here.
01:40I haven't won anything.
01:44You've won our hearts.
01:45You're winning by being here.
01:46Oh!
01:49Let's go find him.
01:50Let's go find him.
01:51Where are they?
01:52It's time for another festive face-up,
01:55and whatever it is, I am ready to take it,
01:58because it is time for me to win.
02:00Come on down, boys.
02:01Oh, my God.
02:02What in the world?
02:03I'm hoping to make this three festive face-off wins in a row.
02:07Hey, guys.
02:08Hey.
02:09Seven of you remain in the game
02:11as the competition is heating up like chestnuts on an open fire.
02:15And let me tell you, that's hot.
02:17While you're all incredibly talented,
02:19only one of you will walk out of here
02:21with a leading role in a Hallmark holiday movie
02:23and be crowned Mr. Christmas.
02:26Yeah!
02:27In today's festive face-off,
02:30you'll be slipping like a baby reindeer on ice.
02:34Here's how it's going to snow down.
02:36Starting at the top of this icy hill,
02:38you'll dash down this slippery mountain like a runaway train,
02:41grab your candy cane,
02:43and run up the slope like you're racing towards the North Pole,
02:46and repeat this pattern three times.
02:49Each of you has your own color candy cane.
02:52That's the only color you can use.
02:54The first hunk to get all three of their candy canes
02:56into that giant mug and ring the bell wins.
03:00I absolutely need to win this.
03:02I could use any advantage I can get.
03:04Before you slip, slide, and slay the frosty hill,
03:07I need to bring out the peppermint stick to my hot cocoa.
03:11Please welcome the one and only Melissa Peterman.
03:15Yay!
03:19Oh, my gosh! I've been waiting behind that tree since 5 a.m.
03:23because I'm so excited for this one.
03:25All right, guys, go and get changed.
03:26I'll see you back here, ready to slide all the way.
03:29Let's go! Let's hustle! Go, go, go!
03:31Come on!
03:32Jonathan, man, you're my guy, but these challenges, dude,
03:35like, you better watch your back. You're in for it.
03:37There's gonna be some payback coming your way.
03:39Let's do this!
03:43You guys ready?
03:44Oh, yeah.
03:45I almost slipped down.
03:46Dude.
03:47Watch out. Don't slip down.
03:48It's already slippery.
03:49Like, is this gonna be dangerous?
03:50Are you guys ready to start?
03:52Because I am running on candy canes in excitement right now!
03:55The fun starts now!
04:03Oh, be careful, be careful!
04:08So for this challenge, we have to run all the way down
04:11to one side of the hill, grab our candy cane,
04:14and then run back up the other steeper side
04:16in order to put it inside a tin cup.
04:19Whoever gets all three of their candy canes in the cup first wins.
04:23Oh, no!
04:24Maybe low center of gravity and trying to crawl up the hill
04:27might help me out.
04:29I was a sprinter in high school,
04:35so I know speed and endurance are gonna matter the most
04:39in this festive face-off.
04:40Here comes Gabriel!
04:41Here comes Gabriel!
04:42This is very slippery and very steep.
04:45I need to get as much momentum as I can
04:48to get back to the top.
04:50To the top!
04:51Oh, my gosh!
04:52Gabriel's got one in!
04:54There goes Angel.
04:55I think my soccer skills are gonna come into place.
04:59It's all about speed and sliding.
05:01Oh!
05:02Oh, my gosh!
05:03All right!
05:04That's Angel!
05:05Angel's got one in!
05:08Oh!
05:09Oh!
05:10Oh!
05:11Oh!
05:12Oh!
05:13Okay, Gabriel just wiped out!
05:14Russell just wiped out!
05:15Gabe, are you okay?
05:16Oh, my God!
05:17I'm tired!
05:18You guys, you're machines!
05:20You can do this!
05:21Ah!
05:22I'm making zero progress.
05:24Dude!
05:25There's no way!
05:26I can't figure out what to do.
05:27Come on, Marcus!
05:28It's very tiring!
05:29Let's go!
05:30Oh, no!
05:31How'd you guys get up this?
05:32Oh, no!
05:33This is gonna be hard.
05:34Speed's gonna come into play.
05:36I weigh a lot more than almost every single guy.
05:38No!
05:39They might have more stamina.
05:41You know, I don't do a lot of cardio.
05:43Oh!
05:44Oh, my...
05:45How did you get it?
05:49Mayday!
05:50Mayday!
05:51Mayday!
05:52A lot harder than it looks.
05:53And I just feel myself slipping backwards.
05:54Robbie!
05:55Robbie!
05:56Robbie!
05:57Robbie!
05:58You got this!
05:59Robbie!
06:00And my dreams of winning that third festive face-off are also slipping away.
06:03Dang.
06:04You okay?
06:05You okay?
06:06Yeah.
06:07Come on, Rustin!
06:08Come on, Rustin!
06:09You got this!
06:10Oh!
06:11What the heck, dude?
06:14Are you kidding me?
06:16Oh!
06:17Oh!
06:18Oh!
06:19This is not a good strategy.
06:21I'm gonna have to go as fast as I can in order to be able to catch up.
06:24Oh!
06:25Woo!
06:26Davey's in!
06:27Okay!
06:28Oh, shoot!
06:29Oh!
06:30Oh, man.
06:31I'm tired.
06:32I have my second candy cane in hand.
06:37I'm gonna run really fast and make it to the top.
06:41Here we go!
06:42Come on!
06:43Angel!
06:44Angel!
06:45Angel!
06:46Angel!
06:47Angel!
06:48Come on!
06:49You can do it!
06:50Noooo!
06:55Oh!
06:56All right!
06:57Angel!
06:58Oh, here comes Gabriel!
06:59Gabriel!
07:00Gabriel!
07:01Oh!
07:02Gabriel just ate it!
07:03That was like chariots of fire for a second and then it got real bad.
07:06Oh, my gosh!
07:07What?
07:08Gabe's got two in!
07:09And I'm gassed.
07:10I'm exhausted.
07:12After watching Gabe, light bulb went off.
07:15You can't crawl on this.
07:16You have to just run right through.
07:18Craig!
07:19Craig's got one in!
07:20Davey has one!
07:21Angel has one!
07:22Craig has one!
07:23Gabe has two!
07:24Does anyone need a hug?
07:25Yeah!
07:26Does anyone?
07:27I could use a hug.
07:28Okay, let's wait until you're changed!
07:31Angel dropped a candy cane.
07:33I know I have the lead.
07:36I'm just trying to recharge and regain some of my energy before I charge back up this mountain for the last time.
07:42All right, here comes Robbie!
07:43Come on, Robbie!
07:44Come on, Robbie!
07:45Come on, Robbie!
07:46Robbie!
07:47I am completely winded.
07:50Here comes Craig!
07:51Okay, Craig!
07:53Come on, Craig!
07:54Oh, my gosh!
07:55Craig!
07:56Craig, that's two!
07:57Now, I just need one more.
08:03I'm gonna throw up.
08:04It got harder.
08:05I noticed Gabe doesn't have more energy.
08:07This is my chance to get the win.
08:10Maybe if you take off your shirt, it'll be more aerodynamic!
08:12Here comes Angel!
08:13Here comes Angel!
08:16Angel's got two in!
08:18Gabe has two!
08:19Angel has two!
08:20Craig's got two!
08:21They each need one more!
08:22The next one to get one in wins!
08:24Does Angel just have to get this one right here?
08:26Thankfully, my other candy cane that I dropped earlier is already there.
08:31I don't have to run back.
08:33This could be for the win!
08:35Reaching, and I see Gabe behind me making it to the top.
08:41Oh, my God!
08:43Angel just got three in!
08:45Angel is our winner!
08:46Congratulations!
08:47Every time a bell rings, Angel gets his win!
08:52Is this for real?
08:53Can someone pinch me?
08:55Did you pinch me?
08:58Good job, dude.
09:03Me and the guys give each other the eye.
09:04Oh, my gosh!
09:05We're going to give Jonathan a taste of his own medicine.
09:08How's it going?
09:09You good?
09:10Oh, no!
09:11Oh!
09:18So sorry!
09:19I put you through it!
09:20Oh, no!
09:21No, no, no, no, no!
09:22Run, Missa!
09:23Run!
09:24No!
09:26This was a nail-biter but Angel!
09:28Congratulations, Angel!
09:29As the winner of the festive face-off,
09:32you will be getting an advantage,
09:34which I will reveal at the star quality challenge.
09:37I cannot wait to find out what this advantage is.
09:40Oh, and did I not mention,
09:41you all will be performing as a contestant
09:45in the Mr. Christmas pageant.
09:51That's right, it's your next star quality challenge.
09:53That means each of you needs a talent
09:56to perform at the pageant.
09:58I'm a personal trainer and model.
09:59Okay, what the heck is my talent going to be?
10:02Hit the showers, boys!
10:07That was so much more exhausting
10:09and so much harder than I could have ever imagined.
10:11I was like, if I die trying, I will die.
10:15It paid off.
10:16That's the right attitude.
10:17That's great, man.
10:18That's great.
10:19I think it's interesting though
10:20that we're going to all have to do this Mr. Christmas pageant.
10:25I was originally thinking like throw a football at targets,
10:27but like feels kind of lame.
10:29My head automatically goes towards doing something active.
10:32I don't know what else I would do, you know?
10:34Obviously my first thought is to sing,
10:36so I'm probably going to sing something.
10:39It's hard to not be jealous of certain guys like Rustin
10:41where you know exactly what their talent
10:44is probably going to be.
10:45You're probably going to bring it.
10:46I'm certainly going to do my best.
10:48My whole family was actually in a Christian ministry band
10:50that toured around Arizona.
10:52I sang and my brother played the drums
10:54and my mom sang and I played the bass guitar
10:56and my sister sang with us.
10:58We were like the Christian Partridge family.
11:00I'm a little scared.
11:01I don't know if I can think of a talent
11:03that is going to be worthy to stand up to you guys.
11:06So hopefully I can figure something out.
11:09Coming up.
11:12What's going on here?
11:14Welcome to Marcus's Magical Touch.
11:17I'm getting kind of warm.
11:19Oh my gosh.
11:24You are so composed since day one
11:27when I walked in and we started chatting.
11:29Thanks, man.
11:30My life has been such an interesting example
11:32of taking those moments that you have
11:34that are maybe difficult or tragic and overcoming them.
11:40I've been in some gnarly car wrecks,
11:42but the last time I went down on a motorcycle,
11:44I hit the ground at 90 miles an hour.
11:46Yeah, that's insane.
11:47And I slid for about 200 yards
11:50across all of the lanes and didn't get run over.
11:54And to this day, I don't understand,
11:57but I'm as thankful as you could possibly imagine to be here.
12:01I think I have a significant appreciation for life
12:04for all the close calls that I've had.
12:07I think at this point in my life,
12:08I feel confidence and comfortability with who I am.
12:13It blew out my knee.
12:13It blew out my ankle.
12:14It blew out my shoulder.
12:15Slip discs in my back.
12:17I struggled with basic stuff, you know,
12:19like walking, running.
12:21I'm so thankful to come out the other side of it
12:23with like the capabilities that I have
12:24and the knowledge that I have from learning
12:26from those experiences.
12:28It just, I feel like I can take on anything.
12:32But it's one of the reasons that I value
12:33and appreciate all these opportunities that we have.
12:36Like, you can't take that for granted, you know?
12:39Rustin has always been so confident
12:41and unshakable in big moments.
12:43I think the best impetus to reach success
12:46is having setbacks.
12:48But if you focus on the things that you have as strengths,
12:50you focus on the things that you can accomplish,
12:51you focus on the things that you do have to offer,
12:54those are the things that are going to show up.
12:55And that's what I'm focusing on.
12:57I honestly have no idea
13:02what Jonathan has in store for us, you know?
13:04It's always a surprise.
13:05Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
13:07Guys, what's that?
13:08Look at that.
13:10Wait, wait, wait, they're pageant sashes.
13:11Yep.
13:12Oh.
13:14We also have this, guys.
13:15Let me do this.
13:17Oh.
13:17What's it say?
13:18Read it.
13:19Mr. Christmas.
13:20That's me.
13:20Oh, it's for me.
13:23After your uphill dashes,
13:25here are your sashes.
13:28See you at your next star quality challenge.
13:30Sincerely, Jonathan.
13:32You guys ready to cruise?
13:33I'm ready.
13:34Is it time to go?
13:35Let's do this thing, guys.
13:36Let's go.
13:37Let's do this thing.
13:38Does this sash go with my outfit?
13:43Oh, here we are, guys.
13:44Here we are.
13:45This is it.
13:47Let's do this thing, guys.
13:48Let's go.
13:49Let's go.
13:49Let's go.
13:50Let's time.
13:51We got this.
13:52Woo!
13:53Woo!
13:54There's a lot of people here.
13:56The intensity of this challenge is level up.
13:59Come on in.
14:01Welcome to the Tinseltown Theater.
14:04Woo!
14:05Guys, say hello to your audience.
14:07Woo!
14:09This is your next star quality challenge,
14:12the stage of the competition,
14:13where you get to show off and show us
14:15your talent and pageantry.
14:18This is the Mr. Talent pageant.
14:21Woo!
14:24In pageant fashion, you'll be asked some hard-hitting
14:27hunk questions into what makes you authentic
14:30and a true leading man.
14:32And those will be coming from our special guest judges
14:35and Hallmark superfans, Gail and Alicia.
14:37Hey!
14:38Hey!
14:39Hey!
14:40You might recognize Gail and Alicia
14:42from the Hallmark show, Christmas at Sea.
14:44If anybody knows what makes a Hallmark leading man,
14:47it's a Hallmark superfan.
14:49Our fans' opinions are super important to us
14:52and their voice matters.
14:53That's why we're so happy that they're here.
14:56And today, they're going to be very essential to you.
15:00Mm-hmm.
15:01They, along with Melissa, myself,
15:03and your guest judges,
15:04will be deciding your fate
15:06and voting on the winner of the star quality challenge.
15:09Oh-ho-ho-ho!
15:11Okay!
15:12Okay, well done!
15:13To be successful in this challenge,
15:15we're going to really have to connect
15:16with the audience through our performances.
15:18I'm a rock singer.
15:19That's right in my wheelhouse.
15:21Gentlemen, you'll be judged on originality,
15:23showmanship, and, of course, star quality.
15:27Let's get this show started, shall we?
15:29Yeah!
15:30Craig, why don't you stay up here with me?
15:32The rest of you guys, go take your seats.
15:34I know that this is a good opportunity for me
15:36to bring some wit and some humor into this.
15:39First up is Craig!
15:44It's showtime.
15:45Fricka, fricka, fricka.
15:47Fricka.
15:51Fricka, fricka, fricka.
15:54Oh, my gosh.
15:55What's going on here?
15:57Fricka.
15:58Fricka.
16:01Fricka.
16:02Fricka.
16:03Fricka.
16:04Fricka.
16:05Fricka.
16:06Fricka.
16:07Fricka.
16:08This is a song I wrote.
16:09It's called, I am Mr. Christmas.
16:12DJ, spin it!
16:13Here we go, yup.
16:16Clap your hands to the beat, everybody.
16:18Hey, yup, that's it.
16:19Uh-huh.
16:21I am so cold, we'll pack the jacket.
16:23Like intense player, because I'm back with a racket.
16:25All this charisma I do not lack,
16:27and these bars are a gift.
16:28You can say that I wrapped it and signed it.
16:30The bottom of the card, you already know I go hard.
16:33He's working the crowd, he's looking really cool.
16:36Let me hear you say, Mr.
16:38Mr.
16:39Say, Christmas.
16:40Christmas.
16:41It's definitely showing personality.
16:43Say, Mr.
16:45Mr.
16:46Christmas.
16:47Christmas.
16:48That's me.
16:52I bet you didn't think you'd see a rapping Santa Claus
16:54today, did you?
16:55No.
16:56And now, Craig, it's time for the questions
16:59from the superfans.
17:00So, that was quite unique, what you did.
17:03But what other unique quality or trait would you bring
17:07to the Hallmark family?
17:10I think I can bring a lot of different traits
17:11to the Hallmark family.
17:13I'm in touch with my emotions.
17:15You might not see that from, you know, the jokes and the
17:17wrapping up here on stage.
17:19But I think it's incredibly important for a leading man
17:22to be able to go through all of his emotions, you know,
17:26be vulnerable out there, and let people see who he truly is.
17:31I think that I can bring that to the Hallmark family.
17:33All right, all right.
17:35Craig, good job, buddy.
17:36Get out of here.
17:38Give it up for Marcus.
17:40Woo!
17:41All right, Marcus.
17:44Welcome to Marcus's magical touch.
17:48So today, I'm going to be showing a little card trick.
17:52But first, I'm going to need an assistant
17:54to come up on stage with me.
17:56Mm.
17:57Oh, ooh.
17:58Right here in the white with the bow on your chest.
18:00Come on up, come on up.
18:02Yes, come on up, come on, come on.
18:04This is my first time actually performing this
18:06for a crowd of people on a stage.
18:09And you don't know how the person that you bring up
18:11onto the stage is going to react.
18:13The trick can go wrong.
18:15Lovely assistant, can you please tell me your name?
18:17Brooke.
18:18OK, Brooke.
18:19So you're going to need this right here.
18:22This is for you, Brooke.
18:23There we go.
18:25OK, now, Brooke, choose a card, OK?
18:27Don't tell me what it is.
18:29Make sure you choose the right card.
18:30Don't choose the wrong one.
18:31Oh.
18:34Gently put it right back in.
18:35Let me know when you have it back in there, Brooke.
18:37All right, Brooke, which row is your card in?
18:40This row.
18:41This row right here.
18:42OK, so we're going to go ahead and scoop these cards
18:44right back up.
18:45I was helping him practice for his talent the night before,
18:47and he wasn't getting it right.
18:48In front of a live crowd, you get one shot and one shot only.
18:53So, Marcus, I hope you nail this.
18:55And here, OK, Brooke.
18:57So the last time, where is your card at?
19:00Which row is it in?
19:01It's in this row.
19:02It's in this row now.
19:03Ooh.
19:04Now we're going to pick all these cards up.
19:06We are going to lay these cards out.
19:10I'm just hoping the talent is interesting enough that everybody
19:13in the crowd is really invested on whether or not I'm going
19:16to be able to pull it off.
19:18Please pick one of the Pals for me.
19:21Ooh, you want this one.
19:22OK, let's get rid of all of these.
19:24She wants that one, ladies and gentlemen.
19:26She wants that one.
19:27Please, pick two more cards for me.
19:29Pick this one and this one.
19:30Ooh, we'll see you guys later.
19:32Ooh, we're down to two cards, everybody.
19:34We're down to two.
19:35Ladies and gentlemen, do you think one of these cards
19:37is her card?
19:38Yeah?
19:39OK.
19:40I am sitting on the edge of my seat,
19:41just like hoping and praying that Marcus is going
19:44to be able to pull this trick off.
19:46All right, Brooke.
19:47Was this the card?
19:51Coming up.
19:52Hey, everyone.
19:53I have been on stage before.
19:55I've been on stage.
19:56I have never done this on a stage.
19:59Bachata.
20:04Oh, I'm getting it.
20:05I'm going to pick this one.
20:10I'm going to pick this one.
20:11OK, everybody.
20:13Let's see here.
20:16Was this the card that Brooke chose?
20:23Everybody, please give it up for Brooke.
20:25Give it up for Brooke.
20:27She did amazing.
20:29Marcus, we have some questions for you.
20:32Hello, lovelies.
20:33Hello.
20:34So you just won the lottery.
20:36Who are you calling first?
20:38If I just won the lottery, I'm 100% giving my mom a call.
20:41It would be a dream to take care of my mom,
20:44make sure that she never has to worry about anything
20:46for the rest of her life.
20:49I'm extremely relieved.
20:50I got the trick done.
20:51I did it right.
20:52Give it up for Marcus.
20:55I'm really hoping that was enough to win them over.
20:58Go get them.
21:00I have been on stage before.
21:01I have never done this on a stage.
21:04You're killing it.
21:05Thanks.
21:06And I think that this is either going to go really great
21:09or really bad.
21:10Give it up for Robbie.
21:12Woo-hoo!
21:14Hey, everyone.
21:15Robbie!
21:16Woo!
21:18Can we just talk about eggnog?
21:20It tastes like milk lost a dare with alcoholic pancake batter.
21:24Oh, no.
21:25Okay?
21:26Another one of my favorite holiday traditions is the food, right?
21:31In November, I'm finding Mr. Christmas.
21:34But by January, I'm finding my elastic waistband.
21:37Yeah.
21:38Yeah.
21:39Truly.
21:40No, but I am honored to be here with Jonathan Bennett.
21:43Woo!
21:44Woo!
21:45Woo!
21:46Woo!
21:47In Mean Girls, Jonathan was the high school heartthrob.
21:51On Hallmark, he's more like the high school principal.
21:54Hi!
21:55Boom!
21:56Right?
21:57Right?
21:58Right?
21:59Woo!
22:00Christmas, it's not about the trees.
22:03It's not about the eggnog.
22:05It's about family.
22:06It's about togetherness.
22:08And learning that if Jonathan Bennett can make it on Hallmark, anything is possible.
22:13Thank you so much.
22:14Merry Christmas!
22:16Give it up for Robbie!
22:18Woo!
22:19I feel so good.
22:21Woo!
22:22They say the best form of flattery is to be roasted, and so thank you, Robbie.
22:28This is one of the coolest experiences of my life.
22:31Alicia, do you have a question for Robbie?
22:32Okay, so when you think about your life, what's one thing that you would like to redo if you had an opportunity to?
22:40About 10 years ago, my mom had a heart attack, and I spoke to her on the phone, and she said it was a minor heart attack, and it wasn't a big deal.
22:48And so she said, don't come home.
22:51And I thought, the best thing I can do for her is honor her wishes.
22:54I'm not gonna go home.
22:56About a week later, she had a stroke and was in a coma and never woke up, and so I never got that chance to see her or be with her or say goodbye.
23:06So if I could go back and redo anything, I would go home the second that happened.
23:14It's something I think about far too often.
23:17Yeah.
23:18When you go through something like losing a parent, it's so much easier to just bury those feelings away.
23:23But I found in my life that talking about these things, it's healing for yourself, but it is healing for more people than you can ever fathom.
23:33And now, give it up for Rustin!
23:38Hey, how's it going?
23:41What is up?
23:42Are you all having a good time today?
23:44Oh, yeah.
23:45So, I'm gonna sing a song for you all about how it felt to meet my wife for the first time.
23:52Aww.
23:58One look and I'm drawn in.
24:03One word and I'm back in my head again.
24:08I've been with my wife Lindsay since December of 2016, and we actually met in a chocolate shop.
24:14She walked in.
24:15I was stunned.
24:16I said, you look adorable.
24:18We went on a date the next day, and after that date, I said, I'm in love with her.
24:22I'm gonna marry her.
24:23Cause it's you in everything.
24:28And it's proven in the silence.
24:33And it's knowing if we really had to, we could do it on our own.
24:44He is absolutely amazing.
24:47He is so naturally gifted.
24:49So, in Hallmark, a lot of the movies, you know, they've gone through some sort of adversity.
24:53Right.
24:54Can you tell me a time when you had to go through some sort of adversity, and how did you feel?
24:59I've been in quite a few accidents that have caused a lot of physical harm.
25:03And I think that the number one thing that I've found through all of it is that I was alive on the other side.
25:09I was here.
25:10I had something that I could look at as something that I had overcome.
25:17Thank you, thank you, thank you.
25:21Be yourself and have fun.
25:23Please welcome to the stage, Angel!
25:28Hello, everybody!
25:29Hola!
25:30Whenever I have a lot of eyes on me, I hear, in the silence, judgment.
25:36I put a lot of pressure on myself to not disappoint people.
25:41I grew up dancing Latin music, and it would be my honor to share some of that culture, love, happiness, and passion with all of you today.
25:50So, I will be dancing bachata.
25:53I would like to have a volunteer come up.
25:57You on the plaid, yes!
25:59Come up!
26:00Salsa, merengue, and bachata have shaped me into being outgoing, confident.
26:07What is your name?
26:08Kelly.
26:09Kelly, let's get the jitters out.
26:11Okay.
26:12So, shake your right hand, your left hand.
26:14You can just go, ah!
26:16Ah!
26:17There we go!
26:18This type of Latin dance brings a lot of joy and happiness to me, and I want to share this experience with the crowd.
26:27It's such a joy to dance.
26:34Yes!
26:35Let's give it a round of applause, Kelly!
26:37Thank you!
26:38Give it up for Angel!
26:41Gail!
26:42Gail!
26:43So, every Hallmark superfan knows that the leading man always does something to make the town better.
26:51What is something that you can do to make the world better?
26:55I would love to inspire by just being myself.
26:58Coming to this country, not knowing any English, going through people that bullied me, put me down.
27:05I never let that determine who I wanted to become.
27:09I want to be the example.
27:12Nice.
27:14Angel just keeps delivering that heart, that charm.
27:17He's probably my biggest competitor.
27:19Coming to the stage next, Gabriel!
27:23Doing this pageant is actually my worst nightmare.
27:26I get really nervous in front of crowds.
27:36Oh!
27:37I will be doing something very important to me, and that's a puzzle cube.
27:43Coming up!
27:44Are you getting warmed up?
27:45Yes.
27:46Woo!
27:47I'm getting kind of warm.
27:48I might need to sit down.
27:49What?
27:52One of you will be going home right now.
27:56Oh!
27:59Oh!
28:00So today, I will be doing something very important to me.
28:05That's a puzzle cube.
28:06Yeah!
28:07While balancing on a balance board.
28:11Interesting.
28:12It's like an unconventional talent.
28:14So I need you guys to make some noise for me while I do this.
28:20Here we go.
28:21I chose the puzzle cube because it has a lot of meaning in the growth I've had as a person.
28:28Oops!
28:32As a kid, the first time I tried to do a puzzle cube, it took me two hours to figure out how to do it.
28:37And because of my perseverance, I was able to get that time down to 40 seconds.
28:42We believe in you!
28:45Oh, I'm getting it!
28:48I've spent all of my life thinking that I wasn't capable of great things.
28:53And the puzzle cube reminded me that if I just put my mind to something, I can really do anything.
29:04There it is!
29:05Great job, kid.
29:07Great job.
29:08If you had to think about your life, what would you tell your younger self?
29:12What would be the message?
29:13You have nothing to worry about.
29:15All you have to do is believe in yourself and everything will happen.
29:18Like what I just did here.
29:21Good job.
29:23And for your final hunk coming to the stage, give it up for Davey!
29:27Today, I'm going to be taking somebody through a few holiday-inspired exercises.
29:35So I'm going to need a volunteer from the audience.
29:39No, Melissa. No, Melissa. You can't volunteer.
29:42Let's go right here. Give it up for her!
29:45I've taught a million group fitness classes over the years, so I feel like that's kind of the energy that I'm going to need to embody.
29:52What's your name?
29:53Andrea.
29:54We have Andrea here.
29:55Have fun, Andrea.
29:56I want you to demonstrate this first exercise for me.
29:58Firmly plant your foot up on the box just like that.
30:01As you step up, go ahead and grab onto that for me.
30:04Okay.
30:05And I want you to reach that right up top here.
30:07Big reach. Step. Excellent!
30:10It's getting kind of hot in here. Are you getting warmed up?
30:12Yes.
30:13Woo!
30:14You're getting kind of warm.
30:16Oh, my.
30:18Oh, my gosh.
30:21Those aren't even shorts.
30:23First exercise.
30:24They're the idea of shorts.
30:25I'm not typically the type of guy to just show off a lot of skin all the time, but I figured in this case it probably was going to pay off.
30:31This next exercise is a squat, all right? I want you to hold onto this. That gift might be kind of heavy, right? Nice and low with me. Ready? Get down there. Yeah!
30:40I'm a married woman. I have an adult son.
30:43Oh, wow.
30:45She looks good. And again, back up. Nice. She's so good. I want to throw one more at you. Is that okay? Okay.
30:50We're going to get down to all fours really quick, okay?
30:52I want you to get up like that. Oh!
30:55Oh!
30:56Oh!
31:02And then we'll add that little twist at the end, okay? Ready?
31:04No way.
31:05I'm just kidding. Give it up for her!
31:07He understood the assignment. I believe the person to be based on the crowd reaction is Davey.
31:16I mean, he nailed it.
31:17Jonathan, I need a minute. I, I...
31:21You and me both, Gil.
31:23Okay. What is your ideal Christmas morning?
31:26Growing up, my ideal Christmas morning was opening presents because that was the best part, right?
31:31But now I'm a dad and it's become less about the tradition of the gifts on Christmas morning
31:36and more about my son and our new family being together in the same room.
31:42Thank you all for being here. I know it was really hard work watching all these fantastic men in perfect lighting perform for you.
31:49Don't forget to drop your votes into your favorite guy's ballot box on the way out.
31:55Good night, everybody. Thank you so much.
31:57Go vote, everybody. Go vote.
31:59I'm kind of at a loss to see who's gonna win. Like, everybody did so good.
32:04I just hope that I did enough to make it through another elimination.
32:09How do you guys feel?
32:10That was so much fun.
32:11Pretty good.
32:12Now, there's one more piece of business we have to discuss.
32:15We haven't revealed the advantage yet for Angel.
32:18That's right.
32:19Angel, you won the festive face-off and you will receive immunity in tonight's elimination.
32:26Here's the thing.
32:27You have the power to keep it for yourself or you can give it to one of your fellow guys
32:33who you think might be in jeopardy at going home.
32:37The choice will be yours.
32:39Think about what you want to do and I'll see you all at elimination.
32:44There's so many ways this can go wrong.
32:46It's a pressure I don't want.
32:48Thank you, but no thank you.
32:50Angel with the immunity.
32:52Yeah, Angel, that's gotta feel good.
32:54That's huge.
32:55But also kind of could be uncomfortable.
32:57Yeah, man, I have a lot to think about.
33:00All right, ladies, we can't wait to hear what you thought.
33:03Yeah, yeah.
33:04Now, let's talk about who shined.
33:05The shirtless performance from Davey.
33:07How you feeling?
33:08You okay, Gail?
33:09Yeah.
33:10My heart is back to normal rhythm.
33:12You recovered from Davey?
33:13Yes.
33:14Okay, good, good, good.
33:15Of course, personal training, the act and all that, that was great.
33:19What about his answers?
33:20He was confident.
33:21Even though he didn't go into great details about some things, but I was like, I get it.
33:25I connected with him.
33:26Then we have Rustin, who sang for us.
33:28I mean, can we?
33:29I mean.
33:30Hallmark, here we come.
33:31Yes.
33:32Because, again, those emotions connecting with that, and he was not afraid to show that.
33:37Make it normal for men to show emotions.
33:41Like, that's a wonderful thing.
33:42I just wish he brought that same openness to the answer of his question.
33:46He was a little bit hesitant.
33:47That was the first time, I think, in this competition that I saw a crack in Rustin's armor.
33:52Yeah.
33:53And then we have Robbie, who gave us comedy.
33:55I'll just say it first.
33:56Stand-up is hard, so for me, I'm giving him giant, giant props for a big swing, and I thought he did great.
34:02Yeah.
34:03And his jokes were funny.
34:04What did you think of his Jonathan Bennett jokes?
34:05He roasted you a little bit.
34:06How'd you feel?
34:07When someone roasts you, it is the biggest compliment and the biggest form of flattery, and I love it.
34:12Yes.
34:13What about his answer?
34:14He answered the best.
34:16When he talked about his mom, you know, and her situation, that touched my heart.
34:21And let's talk about who struggled.
34:23Craig, he gave us that rap that he wrote from scratch.
34:26A lot of confidence to come out and write this rap and share it with us.
34:30We were tapping under the table.
34:31I said, oh, and he has a little rhythm going with it and it's flowing very nicely.
34:35I think kind of when we got to the questions, though, you know, he was a little hesitant.
34:40He did not really answer the question.
34:42He kind of skated around.
34:43He's spinning.
34:44Yeah.
34:45I want to see more of the heartfelt part of Craig.
34:48Yes.
34:49So it's interesting that that's what you guys sort of keyed in a little bit too.
34:52Yeah.
34:53Then we have Gabriel.
34:54This is Mr. Christmas.
34:55Mm-hmm.
34:56I need that personality to shine before anything else, and I just wasn't seeing it.
35:00Yeah.
35:01It's like it was more in his head than here.
35:03I was worried the whole time that he was doing his act that he was going to fall.
35:06Yes.
35:07And as an audience member, I don't want to be uncomfortable when I'm watching that.
35:10I don't want to be nervous.
35:11Yeah.
35:12I want to feel like I'm being taken care of.
35:13Exactly.
35:14This is a tough decision, but we have to make it.
35:17Yeah.
35:22Walking into tonight's elimination, I'm nervous.
35:25The results are in the hands of the super fans and the audience members, not just Melissa and Jonathan.
35:31That's a complete wild card.
35:33Hello, gentlemen.
35:34Welcome back to another elimination where you will find out which one of you will be today's shining star and which one of you will be going home for the holidays.
35:43Guys, we asked you to show us your talents today.
35:46We were looking for originality, showmanship, vulnerability, and all around star quality.
35:52That's why we had two of our biggest super fans asking you questions that would show them what kind of leading man you would make.
35:59Alicia, Gayle, you were sitting front and center.
36:02How do you think the guys did today?
36:03You guys did a wonderful job expressing yourselves in a variety of different ways.
36:08Saw a lot of Hallmark star qualities.
36:11And so I'm just as nervous as they are.
36:14Before we go any further, we do have to talk about the angel in the room.
36:23I've been struggling with this.
36:25Will you be keeping the immunity for yourself or will you be gifting it to one of your guys?
36:31There's a voice in me that's telling me Mr. Christmas is not selfish.
36:37The person that I choose to have this immunity is Robbie.
36:49Robbie talking about the death of his mom really triggered my late father.
36:56I know your parents are proud.
36:59I love you.
37:00I love you too.
37:02Angel, I know this was a tough decision for you.
37:05But the fact that you gave it away and didn't keep it for yourself is what being a Hallmark leading man is all about.
37:11It is a true leading man move, but oh man, I hope it doesn't backfire.
37:17Now let's talk about a few standout performances.
37:20Davey, you really woke up the fans today.
37:23You gave a literal clinic on how to entertain on that stage.
37:27That's leading man quality right there.
37:29Oh, thank you.
37:30Rustin, you did your original song and the fans were brought to a beautiful place from it.
37:37I appreciate that.
37:38There can only be one shining star.
37:40And today that person took a huge risk, answered the super fan questions with raw emotion.
37:45And received the most votes from the audience.
37:49The winner of this star quality challenge and tonight's shining star is...
37:58Robbie, congratulations.
38:02Sometimes immunity is just not needed.
38:05Robbie, you were so brave today and the audience agreed.
38:08You touched a lot of people and we appreciate that.
38:11And you took a huge risk making fun of the host on the show that you are on where he is a judge.
38:17Sorry about all the things I said about you, but maybe I'm not.
38:22Now, the hard part.
38:24I could be going home.
38:26What have I done?
38:28Gabe, Craig, will you please step forward?
38:33All right, let's do this.
38:38Gabe, we've been asking you to believe in yourself.
38:41And today we saw a glimpse of it, which is progress.
38:46But you still seem in your head a little bit and not in the moment.
38:49Craig, you have this confidence that is undeniable, but it almost feels like you're hiding behind it.
38:55You weren't really comfortable answering in a very authentic, real way.
39:01Gabe, Craig, one of you will be going home right now.
39:18Gabe, it's time to take your stocking down.
39:20You're going home for the holidays.
39:25You're a star.
39:26I believe it.
39:27We believe it.
39:28We just want you to believe it.
39:29The only competition in your way is you.
39:32And once you conquer that, the sky's the limit.
39:36Gabe, thank you so much.
39:39We can't wait to see what you do next.
39:42I'm disappointed that I didn't get my confidence quick enough to stay in this competition.
39:47Love you, dude.
39:52I feel like I'm on the right track now, though.
39:56The time is now to face any fears and go for it.
39:59Trust yourselves and take some leaps.
40:02I promise you it'll be worth it.
40:04We'll see you next time as the hunt for Mr. Christmas continues.
40:09I'm feeling such a sense of relief, but it still worries me.
40:13Jonathan isn't seeing my depth or vulnerability.
40:15I need to find those other layers or I'm going home.
40:19You
