Anthony Mackie is toplining the Marvel Studios feature as hero Sam Wilson, inhabiting the mantle of Captain America for the first time on the big screen.

00:00Liv Tyler is returning to the world of Marvel.

00:03The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that 15 years after Tyler starred in The Incredible Hulk,

00:08she has joined the cast of Captain America 4, currently titled Captain America New World Order.

00:14Tyler will reprise her role of scientist Betty Ross.

00:17She is the daughter of General Thaddeus Thunderbolt Ross,

00:20who was played by the late William Hurt in several films,

00:23and will now be portrayed by Harrison Ford in the new installment.

00:25The Incredible Hulk was released in the summer of 2008 as Marvel Studios' second feature.

00:31I don't understand why we can't just go in there together and talk to him.

00:35He told me what he wanted to do. He wants it out of me.

00:40The movie starred Edward Norton as Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk,

00:43with the actor famously exiting the franchise and being replaced by Mark Ruffalo for 2012's The Avengers.

00:49Tyler is known for appearing in movies such as Armageddon and The Lord of the Rings trilogy,

00:54not to mention 1990s classics like Empire Records.

00:58She was one of the stars of HBO's acclaimed The Leftovers,

01:01and had a run on the Fox drama 9-1-1 Lone Star.
