00:07The 2020 Golden Globe nominations are officially in,

00:09but Honey Boy was among the snubbed films

00:12that failed to earn a single nomination.

00:14The list of other movies that were left

00:16out of this morning's noms include Ad Astra,

00:18Clemency, Dark Waters, Downton Abbey, Just Mercy,

00:22The Lighthouse, The Peanut Butter Falcon,

00:24Queen and Slim, Uncut Gems, Us, and Waves.

00:28In particular, awards experts believe Shia LaBeouf

00:31was likely to land either a best screenplay

00:33or acting nomination for Honey Boy,

00:35but he didn't land either.

00:36In the best actor category, Adam Sandler for Uncut Gems,

00:39Michael B. Jordan for Just Mercy,

00:41and Paul Walter Hauser for Richard Jewell

00:43all failed to land noms.

00:44With Just Mercy's Jamie Foxx and Jojo Rabbit's Taika Waititi

00:48failing to land best supporting actor noms.

00:50And while The Irishman had a banner morning scoring five noms,

00:53the second most of all films,

00:55star Robert De Niro was not nominated for best actor.

00:59Russell, he took a shine to me right away.

01:03After a while, he started giving me little things to do.

01:07In the best director category,

01:08Greta Gerwig may have been one of the most

01:10high-profile women left out,

01:12but the all-male field also snubbed

01:14fellow awards hopeful female directors Lulu Wang

01:16for The Farewell,

01:17Laureen Scafaria for Hustlers,

01:19Mariel Heller for A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood,

01:22and Olivia Wilde for Booksmart.

01:24On the TV side, shows that surprisingly failed

01:26to earn any nominations include

01:28Euphoria, The Good Place, The Handmaid's Tale,

01:31Orange Is the New Black, Pen 15, Silicon Valley,

01:34This Is Us, Veep, Watchmen, When They See Us,

01:38and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

01:40In fact, broadcast TV was completely shut out.

01:43And Game of Thrones only scored one nomination

01:46for Star Kit Harington,

01:47failing to earn a nom for best drama.
