00:00It's contained at the moment, we're told it's contained, but as you can see there's
00:05still a lot of black smoke billowing, very toxic black smoke billowing from that site,
00:11so it's going to be a couple of days before firefighters are able to get in there.
00:16We saw that huge fireball erupting at the height of this explosion last night, as you
00:22say, at about 11 o'clock, a chemical tank that was on site was blasted into the air and
00:31we had debris, we had flames of 150 to 200 metres into the air, into the sky, and we
00:39had debris raining down on firefighters who had raced to this scene.
00:44And these were like concrete chunks, you might be able to see here the size of these chunks
00:51and I can tell you, they're very greasy, I'm not sure what they've come from, one of the
00:56buildings on site, and they're very heavy, and there were 200 firefighters here trying
01:03to fight this blaze last night, now miraculously only two of them suffered minor injuries given
01:09that this debris rained down we're told over 150 metres onto firefighters and they were ducking
01:19for cover and trying to protect themselves.
01:23Locals heard this huge explosion and saw the sky, you know, glowing from the flames and saw
01:32the smoke.
01:33They rang triple O and firefighters got here very quickly, but a massive explosion for the
01:39locals.

01:48We just live right across the road, so yeah, it's pretty threatening around here, but we
01:53can see stuff flying up in the air.
