Santa made an early stop at the seaside town of Tenby today - to kick off the festive season in style!
The town’s Christmas lights switch-on started with a host of activities including live music, market stalls in the town centre, and DJ Steve Briers spinning the tunes!
The day got underway with the fundraising Tenby Santa Run - hosted by Tenby Round Table, with hundreds of entrants taking to the streets dressed as Father Christmas, and a route that takes in spectacular views of Tenby’s harbour and beaches.
A spokesperson for Tenby Round Table shared: “Thanks to everyone who made this the biggest Tenby Santa Run ever!
“Almost 400 entrants starting the Christmas season the right way!
“What’s even better is that all money raised will go straight back to supporting local charities and good causes in our community. Merry Christmas!”
Then, at around 4.45pm, the big man himself arrived with a little help from Tenby RNLI and Tenby’s Fire Crew in time to turn on the Christmas tree lights outside St Mary’s Church!
