00:00Yellow Jacket star Christina Ricci is saying she was once threatened with a lawsuit over declining
00:05to do a sex scene in a certain way. The actress recently appeared on The View to promote the
00:10second season of Showtime's hit series, and while they're reflected on how the show's younger
00:14actresses, who portray the teen versions of the show's leading female ensemble, have more of a
00:20voice and the power to advocate for themselves on sets, something she said wasn't always the case.
00:25They're able to say, I don't want to do this sex scene. I'm not going to be naked.
00:30Ricci then alleged that on an unnamed project, she was threatened with legal action for pushing back
00:35on how a sex scene was going to be filmed. Someone threatened to sue me once because I didn't want to
00:40do this sex scene in a certain way. Co-host Joy Behar argued that there are more sex scenes now
00:46than ever on the screen, especially with streaming. Now that it's more of their choice instead of
00:51something you're forced to do, then you can get into the artistry of it. Ricci previously told
00:56the Hollywood Reporter that she had regrets about her time acting in the 90s and wishes
01:01that she would just like to go back to that age and do it over again and not make so many
01:05f***ing mistakes. I'd like to go back to 1996 and be like, all right, we had a practice run. It went
01:11okay, but it wasn't really as great as we wanted it to be. For more on this story, head to thr.com.
