This is the town that we're going to make speak to.
00:05
What's happening?
00:07
This way.
00:09
If we can move a bit more to the left, just so we can leave some space for her to walk
00:14
down the right, back to the right.
00:16
Have you seen it coming?
00:21
No, we just knew the weather was going to be bad, just to keep an eye on the weather
00:27
everyone.
00:28
And then suddenly, when I came to town at 6 or 7 o'clock on a Saturday morning, the
00:36
water was already high, halfway through the high street, the high street was just decimated
00:42
these businesses went up for 6 to 12 months.
00:45
And I was here yesterday with David Davis, and as we walked past the chip shop next door,
00:51
the eight ladies that worked there had all just been made redundant, because they were
00:55
told that they were not built for 12 months.
00:59
And that's the story up and down the high street.
01:02
My residence in Forge Road, two or three times a year in most years.
01:07
So for them, whilst it was a shocker because it came so suddenly, we're lucky not to have
01:14
lost life.
01:15
Because it sounds silly, but there wasn't the water they were expecting at the point they
01:20
were expecting.
01:21
At midnight, I was having messages from the residents there saying they're out walking
01:24
the road, and there's no water there.
01:26
Where is it?
01:27
And then they come back in, and they were there inside when the water came washing in.
01:32
And it's very quick.
01:33
It's very quick.
01:34
And they sent me film of it, and it's quite scary to see it shooting through your nose.
01:39
It's terrifying.
01:40
How could you do this?
01:44
What do you want to do this?
01:46
Do you know how to do the bath for the bath for the bath?
01:48
What the bath has?
01:49
Not the bath.
01:50
What do you want to do?
01:52
You've tried to throw yourself into the bath.
01:54
I'm sorry.
01:55
I want to throw you into the bath.
01:57
I'm sorry.
01:58
I'm sorry.
01:59
Good.
01:59
But I'm sorry.
02:00
I want to do it.
02:01
I want to do it too.
02:03
I want to do it to like this.
02:04
I want to do it.
02:05
You can see it in a bit.
02:06
Right.
02:07
And I want to hear it.
02:08
It's very good.
