00:51the eight ladies that worked there had all just been made redundant, because they were

00:55told that they were not built for 12 months.

00:59And that's the story up and down the high street.

01:02My residence in Forge Road, two or three times a year in most years.

01:07So for them, whilst it was a shocker because it came so suddenly, we're lucky not to have

01:14lost life.

01:15Because it sounds silly, but there wasn't the water they were expecting at the point they

01:20were expecting.

01:21At midnight, I was having messages from the residents there saying they're out walking

01:24the road, and there's no water there.

01:27And then they come back in, and they were there inside when the water came washing in.

01:34And they sent me film of it, and it's quite scary to see it shooting through your nose.
