00:00The number of flood victims in Perak continues to rise, reaching 5,503 individuals as of
00:082 p.m. on Friday, up from 5,463, recorded just two hours earlier.
00:15A State Disaster Management Committee spokesman said 1,663 affected families are currently
00:22housed at 46 temporary relief centers across six districts.
00:27Larut, Matang and Selama, Manjong, Peraktenga, Bhagandatok, Hilir Perak, and Mualim.
00:35Manjong remains the worst-hit district, with over 2,000 evacuees from 689 families placed
00:42at 18 relief centers.
00:45This is followed by Peraktenga, which is sheltering more than 1,000 individuals from 407 families
00:51across nine centers.
00:53In Hilir Perak, 1,391 evacuees from 439 families are staying at 11 centers, while Bhagandatok
01:02has 272 individuals from 84 families across four centers.
01:08In Larut, Matang and Selama, 117 individuals from 41 families are housed at two centers, while
01:16Mualim has 16 evacuees from 3 families at two centers.
