Rob Lowe has some wild tales about his time working on 'The West Wing,' including once being summoned to the office of the national security advisor for a question about the show.

00:00He's like, sit down. And I'm thinking, oh, I'm f***ed. This has got to be about, like, taxes.
00:06Rob Lowe has some wild tales to share about his time working on the West Wing,
00:10including once being summoned to the office of the National Security Advisor.
00:14It started when the film and TV icon, a recent guest on the popular YouTube series Hot Ones,
00:19addressed the rumor that then-Secretary of State Madeleine Albright once crashed the West Wing set.
00:24Lowe, who played fan favorite Sam Seaburn on the Aaron Sorkin series, confirmed.
00:28We're shooting at the Kennedy Center. She wanted to meet everybody.
00:32And she was sitting Secretary of State. We're like, okay, there's that.
00:38Lowe added they were all shocked, but of course agreeable to the request.
00:41And then Lowe one-upped himself with sharing his story involving the National Security Advisor.
00:46I was in the White House with Bill Clinton and was summoned to the National Security Director's office.
00:54Lowe continued saying he thought he was screwed, saying, oh, I'm f***ed.
00:58This has got to be about, like, my taxes.
01:00And he was like, why is there no National Security Advisor in your show?
01:04So I was like, this is what this guy's thinking about?
