A source with knowledge of the Showtime series says Tiffany Boone, who played the 'Straight Outta Compton' star's girlfriend, was among several actresses on the drama who had issues with the actor.

00:04and dropped from Showtime's The Shy and an upcoming Netflix film Desperados amid

00:09multiple allegations of misconduct. A source claims that Mitchell's The Shy co-star

00:13Tiffany Boone were among several actresses on the series who had issues with Mitchell.

00:17The actress allegedly felt so unsafe with her co-star that at times her fiancé came to

00:21set when she shot scenes with him. Boone declined to comment. The source also says

00:25the actress had informed producers at Fox 21 that she could no longer work with

00:29Mitchell. At her request they released her to pursue other projects before finally

00:33concluding that Mitchell had to go. Other actresses on the series were also said to have

00:37had problems with Mitchell. The actor was also replaced in the upcoming Netflix project

00:41Desperados by Lamorne Morris of New Girl fame. A source close to the film says producers

00:46received specific information which was investigated immediately and thoroughly and

00:51dealt with as quickly as possible. A source with knowledge of the situation says

00:55Mitchell's agency UTA had also made a very quick decision to drop the actor

00:59based on multiple allegations of misconduct. Mitchell, 32, was considered a rising star

01:04having won accolades for his performance in 2015's Straight Outta Compton. He also appeared

01:08in Mudbound and Detroit and was also a series regular on the Lena Waithe-created Showtime
