'Suits' star Patrick J. Adams' next TV project has been revealed. The actor has been cast in the upcoming six-episode series 'Lockerbie,' about the December 1988 terrorist attack on Pan Am Flight 103 for the BBC and Netflix. 00:22Production on Lockerbie will also include filming in Malta and Toronto.

00:26The BBC and Netflix set of the show,

00:28the six-part series is based on the real events surrounding the 1988 Lockerbie bombing

00:32and the joint Scottish-U.S. investigation which sought to bring the perpetrators to justice.

00:37Lockerbie will focus on the investigation into the crash on both sides of the Atlantic

00:41and the devastating effect it had on the small town and the families who lost loved ones.

00:45For Adams, the project comes following the streaming resurgence of his USA Network series,

00:50Suits, which originally aired from 2011 to 2019.

00:53In 2023, Suits racked up 57.7 billion minutes of viewing,

00:58setting a record for the highest year-end total Nielsen has ever recorded

01:01since it started releasing annual streaming totals.
