00:00What would the world have been like without Mike Nichols?
00:03Did you think I'd forgotten?
00:05For starters, there'd be no Frank Underwood.
00:07He is single-handedly responsible for starting my film career.
00:11I played a mugger on the subway in Heartburn.
00:14I had orange hair.
00:15On the table, money, jewelry, anything you got that I want.
00:20Only a genius could have seen past that hair.
00:22And what about SNL?
00:23Mike Nichols and Elaine May.
00:26This is your mother.
00:27Do you remember me?
00:31The popularity of Nichols and May paved the way for Second City.
00:35And Second City helped build SNL.
00:38But most importantly, there'd be no graduate.
00:41Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me.
00:45Which means Wayne's World 2 would have never had its happy ending.
00:48Oh, Jesus. God, no.
