'Nobody Wants This' star Jackie Tohn chats with THR at the 2025 Golden Globes and explains the adrenaline rush she felt when she first stepped onto the red carpet. Plus, she describes what it was like to see 'Nobody Wants This' become a massive success.

00:00How do you describe the environment here? I'm trying to paint a picture of it.

00:03Well, putting this hard candy in was very dumb.

00:07That's the first thing I can tell you.

00:10It's really overwhelming.

00:12I just told the lovely people at Good Morning America that I just got here emotionally.

00:17Like, I got here at 2.30, but it was such a whirlwind.

00:22I wasn't in my body.

00:23Yes.

00:24Like, I was in an adrenaline blackout, and then I was chatting with her, and I was like,

00:28oh my god, golden globes.

00:32I imagine this is what it feels like at your wedding or something,

00:35when people are like, oh, it just goes by, and you don't take it in.

00:38And interesting, are you married?

00:39No.

00:40No, same.

00:41And it's not something I've ever been really, like, dying for, because I think,

00:49Miley?

00:50That's exciting.

00:51Someone started screaming Miley.

00:53I was obviously going to turn around and look.

00:55Anyway, I think that's part of the reason a wedding has always been,

00:58I'm like, do you even remember it?

01:00Yeah.

01:00Like, is it just a blur?

01:02I think it's just a blur.

01:02It's a quarter of a million dollar blur.

01:06But I love going to a wedding.

01:07But I mean, I love, yeah, I mean.

01:33And the way that the show, I guess, like, came to me was very, like, word of mouth very

01:38fast.

01:39Like, everyone was like, oh, there's this new show.

01:41And I was like, yeah, maybe I'll show you.

01:42And they're like, no, no, no, no, no.

01:43Watch it.

01:44It's crazy.

01:45And that happened to us as the people on the show watching it explode and become what

01:54people refer to as a cultural juggernaut, I think.

01:57Okay, yeah.

01:58I was like, okay.

02:00But it's just crazy.

02:01Like, you can never, getting on any show is such a gift in this crazy wild business.

02:07So getting on one that hits like this is, feels good.

02:33I was watching your eyes glaze over and I was like, I'm just saying Miley.

02:36And you were like, oh, okay.
