Charlamagne tha God is slamming CNN's coverage of Donald Trump during a recent appearance on the network. The popular podcaster and radio host made an appearance on CNN's 'AC360' and called out what he believed as the media's double standards and failure to convey the true danger of Trump's rhetoric.

00:12appearance on the network. The popular podcaster and radio host made an appearance on CNN's AC

00:17360 on Thursday night and called out what he believed as the media's double standards and

00:22failures to convey the true danger of Trump's rhetoric. When asked by host Anderson Cooper

00:27about Trump's plan to appear on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast and whether Harris planned

00:32to do the same, he replied, I think that she should keep calling Donald Trump a fascist.

00:36I don't know why we're even thinking about electing somebody who's talking about putting people in

00:40camps. I don't know why we want to elect somebody who's talking about mass deportation. I don't know

00:45why we're having this conversation about somebody who wants to terminate the Constitution to overthrow

00:50the results of an election. Aren't we supposed to be a patriotic country? Even me bringing it up now,

00:56you brought it back to Kamala and Joe Rogan. Anderson? Yeah. Who gives a damn?

01:01A clearly shocked Cooper tried to steer the conversation back to why Trump appearing on

01:05Rogan's podcast is important in terms of the election, but Charlemagne wouldn't bend.

01:09And that's talking about, you know, jailing his political opponents. Like that rhetoric

01:13doesn't scare people. Cooper claimed that CNN did, in fact, cover Trump's dangerous rhetoric.

01:18I don't think y'all have enough conversations about it. I feel like I heard more on this network about

01:22is Kamala Harris black than I do about, you know, Donald Trump being a fascist. Am I wrong?

01:27Cooper shot back. That's bullshit. I'm sorry. Oh, I like that.

01:30Go ahead, Anderson. No, no, I'm not. I'm not. Look, I'm a huge fan of yours. Okay.

01:34But to say that we're sitting around discussing is Kamala Harris black? Like, oh, I've seen that.

01:41I've seen those around table discussions a lot. Now that's bullshit, Anderson.

01:44Charlemagne replied, I think no network has been honest about Donald Trump.

01:47You haven't had, nobody has had honest conversations about Donald Trump since 2016.

01:52I saw last night they were talking about, you know, the double standard that exists between

01:56Donald Trump and the vice president, but it's always a double standard with Trump,

01:59whether it's with Hillary, whether it's, you know, against Biden, now with Kamala.

02:03We talk about him being a threat to democracy, but we don't treat him like one.
