00:00Netflix has found its young Colin Kaepernick in newcomer Jaden Michael.
00:04The 17-year-old actor will play the football star and activist during his high school years
00:08in the Netflix limited series Colin in Black and White, created by Kaepernick and Ava DuVernay.
00:14DuVernay, who is also directing the first episode of the six-episode scripted drama,
00:18says it's a story about identity, imagination, and intention.
00:22Michael most recently starred in the Netflix comedy film Vampires vs. the Bronx.
