00:16and weeks after Cameron Boyce's tragic passing,
00:19the 20-year-old is still leaving a remarkable impact.
00:22His Descendants co-stars and director just did their first TV interview since his death.
00:27Understandably, it was an extremely tough one.
00:30As reported, Cameron died in his sleep due to a fatal seizure on July 6.
00:35The LA Medical Examiner has now issued a statement revealing his death was directly linked to epilepsy.
00:40TMZ further reports he passed away naturally and had no drugs or alcohol in his system except for his epilepsy medication.
00:48Celebrities and co-stars alike have been honoring the late actor with touching tributes.
00:53In a new interview with Seventeen Magazine, Dove Cameron explained a devastating moment she learned about her co-star's death.
00:59She said she woke up to her phone ringing off the hook.
01:02She got a text explaining what happened and immediately called her fellow Descendants co-star, Boo Boo Stewart.
01:08She said, quote,
01:10Delve and Boo Boo, along with director Kenny Ortega, just sat down with ABC's TJ Holmes for an emotional interview.
01:24This is the first time when they're all together talking about Cameron's death.

02:04You know, because we had a lot of press coming up that we were meant to be doing.
02:08And we always do it together.
02:09Boo Boo, do you remember?
02:11I mean, yeah.
02:12And the last time I saw him, we were actually just, we were at the Radio Disney Music Awards,
02:16which was just, that's very recent.
02:18And we were just planning to hang out and, like, make videos.
02:23And we just liked creating stuff together.
02:26They were like two puppy brothers together.
02:28Oh, yeah.
02:29Yeah, he's like my little brother.
02:30Fellow co-star Sofia Carson also talked to ABC from Toronto.
02:34She said if you could bottle up happiness, that was Cam.
02:37He was pure happiness and pure joy.
02:41There really will never be any words to describe the pain and how much we miss him.
