00:23all about the upcoming season.
00:25We are here in Kitty and Red's iconic kitchen.
00:28What's one scene that you filmed in here
00:30that's especially memorable for you?
00:32The one we just had, like three weeks ago,
00:36the entire cast, in the guest cast,
00:39in the kitchen, in one scene.
00:41I was in heaven as Kitty, in heaven.
00:46He was grumbling.
00:47Not my favorite scene.
00:48But one of my favorite scenes I had the most fun
00:51was with you and me and Laura.
00:53That was a lot of fun.
00:54We were completely kindergarten children.
00:57Yes.
00:57We broke.
00:58We just could not stop laughing.
01:01And it was really, it was lovely.
01:05The show follows Donna and Derek's daughter,
01:08Leah Foreman, as she spends her summers
01:09in Point Place, Wisconsin with her grandparents
01:11and makes new friends along the way.
01:13What's been the best part about returning to Point Place
01:16and getting to see another cast of kids grow up on camera?
01:19It's really special.
01:20I mean, these kids are younger overall
01:26than the cast was before.
01:29Just a little bit.
01:30Not that much, but yeah.
01:32We thought they were terrific last year
01:34and they're better this year.
01:36Last year, they had plenty of talent.
01:38It's now added to that as a sense of maturity
01:42because they know what they're doing more.
01:45You know, it wasn't all new to them.
01:47It's really fun to watch them navigate the business.
01:51Like, learn the business and kind of navigate it.
01:54We did it with 70s show with those kids
01:57and the business has changed.
01:59Things are different.
02:00And then to watch them go through this
02:04in kind of a different way, you know,
02:06but there are parts of it that are always the same.
02:10You know, you still go from being a kid
02:12to a teenager to a, you know.
02:14It's just, for me, it's a gift.
02:17It's a gift.
02:18Season one of the series saw many actors
02:20from the original show return to guest star
02:22like Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and Wilmer Valderrama.
02:26As far as guest stars or original cast members,
02:29what can you tease about what we can expect in season two?
02:32The world of Point Place gets bigger.
02:34Yeah.
02:35You're gonna, you will discover much more of Point Place,
02:38more than perhaps you ever wanted to know,
02:40but it gets bigger.
02:42You know, we have visitors from the past
02:44and, um, uh, and, and new people as well.
02:48Well, that 70s show aired on Fox from 1998 to 2006.
02:52The sequel series streams on Netflix,
02:54bringing Rupp and Smith into the Netflix family.
02:57I saw you both were at the Netflix is a Joke comedy brunch
03:00with so many amazing fellow comedians.
03:01Oh my God.
03:02What was that day like?
03:03And who's somebody you got to meet for the first time
03:05that you, you know, had met before?
03:06Everyone.
03:07Yeah.
03:07For me, everyone.
03:09And Kurtwood, Kurtwood knew maybe three more people
03:12than I, I knew no one, very few.
03:14And then they took the photo.
03:16We got shoved down, shoved down.
03:18And then all of a sudden I am front row center
03:21and I'm horrified, horrified.
03:24Cause I knew everyone was,
03:26everyone's going to look at it and go,
03:27who, who is that?
03:29Who is that?
03:30You know?
03:30No, no.
03:31There's Jon Stewart.
03:33There's Kevin Hart.
03:34There's, who's that?
03:35I was just horrified, horrified.
03:38But I have the photo.
03:40It was fun seeing people that I haven't seen for a while.
03:45And Nick Kroll, Richard Kind.
03:50And I'm, you know, I met John Mulaney,
03:53who I hadn't met and I'm a big fan of.
03:55And so it's good all around.
