00:00I want to start with the spread of this game, Eagles-Bears.
00:03Were you surprised at all when you saw Philly laying a full touchdown
00:07to a fellow 8-3 team?
00:09No, no.
00:10Again, you know, bounce back spot.
00:13I expect them playing at home to be angry, to be up,
00:17and look to put the hammer down on Streetball Williams
00:20and the Chicago Bears.
00:21And I've been on Chicago.
00:23I think they're playing very well.
00:24Love what Caleb Williams is doing in the offense.
00:27He's progressing.
00:28The defense has been opportunistic.
00:31Again, it's matchups, right?
00:33And it comes down to do we believe Caleb is going to be able to be clean
00:38with the football, put up yards, and is Swift and Mononga going to be able
00:43to run on the front seven in a situation where I expect Fangio
00:48to have this defense playing with their hair on fire?
00:51No, I just don't see that.
00:53So I think it's a perfect spot for the Eagles to dominate.
00:56I do like Philly in the game.
00:58And total-wise, again, I don't see any reason why we can't get there.
01:03Okay.
01:03I don't think it's a lower-scoring game.
01:05I think they open it up, and hopefully you get a complete game
01:08out of the Eagles.
01:09That's what I expect.
01:10I'm not taking the seven in any capacity.
01:12I'm laying it.
01:13I was surprised by the seven.
01:15Why?
01:17You would lay, what, four and a half, five?
01:19That's what I thought it was going to be.
01:20Ah, come on.
01:21Now, I was obviously wrong.
01:23You're right.
01:24I, though, listen, I will tell you this.
01:28I don't know if I was, as I was kind of thinking what these numbers would be,
01:32was just, you know, down on what I had watched from Philadelphia.
01:36I actually have now, though, Joe, after looking at the numbers from this
01:40till last week, I actually don't think, I think the books like Philly more than
01:45maybe people's perception would suggest.
01:48I think the books are more aligned with you on Philadelphia than I think the way
01:52they're discussed, because what they laid to Dallas is what Kansas City is
01:57laying to Dallas, and that's an upgraded version of the Cowboys.
02:01So that means to me that they probably think Philly is as good, if not better,
02:05than the Chiefs, and they think the Chiefs are really good.
02:07We know that.
02:08We know that to be true.
02:10Then to lay a full touchdown to the Bears, I know it says a lot about Chicago,
02:17but I think it still shows a strength and trust in Philadelphia from the books
02:22that I wasn't sure was going to be there.
02:24All right, but think about the games that they laid.
02:26Week one, they lay eight and a half to the Cowboys.
02:29They lay six and a half to the Rams.
02:31They lay all at home.
02:32Yeah.
02:33They laid what, 11 and a half?
02:34I don't remember.
02:36Was that a 13 and a half number?
02:37I think it was 11 and a half to the Giants, where they smashed them by 20.
02:42The game that Scatterboo got hurt.
02:44I think it was 11 and a half, if I'm not – I'm just saying, it was double digits.
02:47I'll tell you that.
02:48Yeah.
02:49So this goes right in line.
02:51I mean, the books don't expect the Eagles to lose at home.
02:56The only loss they have is the Broncos.
02:58Yeah.
02:59And what did they lay there?
03:00They laid three and a half in that game?
03:02I don't remember.
03:04It might have been six and a half.
03:06It might have been, again, six and a half.
03:07Yeah, it was something – it was over a field goal.
03:09It was under a touchdown.
03:10Right.
03:10It was right in that area, five and a half, six to – I think it opened at five and a
03:16half to Bo Nix.
03:17But my point is, yeah, they're eight and three, but they play – right.
03:24But they play a lot of close games.
03:26I mean, they beat the Raiders by one.
03:28They're road games.
03:29The Bears' resume is bad.
03:32The resume is really bad.
03:33Ed, it's good considering they've over-exceeded expectations to your – to what I told you,
03:39eight and a half was their win total.
03:40They're going to exceed that.
03:42But they have to make the playoffs.
03:44They've played two projected playoff teams at Detroit, 52-21, at Baltimore, no Lamar, 30-16.
03:55There you go.
03:55So, again, it does say a lot about Chicago, this number, as well.
04:02It says that – it's not that the books think they're not as good as eight and three.
04:06They view – Bears, Cardinals on a neutral field is like Chicago minus one.
04:16No.
04:16I think that's how the books see it.
04:19They're terrible, Arizona.
04:22I think with Brissette, I'm not – that's – I don't think they think much of this Chicago group.
04:27I think this –
04:28But you can only play who's on your schedule again.
04:30Right, but it's about how you look in those games.
04:32So, to your point, though, Joe, Cincinnati miracle comeback.
04:35The Giants miracle comeback.
04:37The Vikings comeback.
04:40This Pittsburgh, they held them off.
04:42Those wins were by five, four, two, and three.
04:44Again, you're allowed to win close games, but you have to – we don't – everyone has to, you know, understand this, right?
04:53It goes back to last year's Kansas City.
04:56Analysis has aged.
04:57We don't do – what's the record?
04:59That's all you need to know.
05:01That's not how –
05:02No, I understand that.
05:03Especially what we do here works.
05:04Right, but again, I take it a step further.
05:07I say, okay, they're eight and three.
05:10Yep.
05:10The expectation for this team was right at eight wins.
05:14And through 11 games, they've won 80% of them, right, for the most part.
05:20They're doing a great job.
05:22They have more of an identity now than they did last year.
05:25They're winning close games as opposed to losing them last year.
05:29They're winning on the road.
05:30It's all a testament.
05:31But, again, I'll say it, and I'll say it again.
05:35And, to me, whether they're playing like it or not right now, I still buy into the Eagles as the most complete team.
05:45And they're still going to get my money come playoff time because I think they'll get it right and figure it out.
05:51I'll say it again.
05:52I'll say it again.
05:52Shall we bring you back?
05:53Let's go.
05:53Let's go.
05:54Let's go.
05:54Let's go.
05:55Let's go.
05:56There we go.
05:56Let's do right now.
05:57Let's go.
