00:00Let's give thanks for the things we have.

00:21Let's show we care a lot.

00:24Let's give thanks for the things we have by sharing what we've got.

00:39When the pilgrims came across the ocean to settle in this strange new land,

00:44they faced many hardships.

00:46There were many things to do and much they needed to learn.

00:50They had no food and they had no homes.

00:53The forest was dark and mysterious and the cold of winter would soon be coming.

00:59Then the Indians came.

01:01The pilgrims were frightened because they looked so different.

01:04Their skin was a different color and they dressed strangely.

01:08But the Indians were kind and became their friends.

01:12They taught the pilgrims how to live and plant their crops in the new land.

01:20The crops grew and the harvest was good.

01:23Because the Indians had helped them, there was plenty of food for everyone.

01:27The pilgrims decided to give thanks and to share with their new friends.

01:31And so they had the first Thanksgiving feast.

01:35Let's give thanks for the things we have.
