00:00You
00:10Previously on Tala Masca
00:12The 752 is real and it's in London.
00:15A Soledad Marcel investigation.
00:17We have nothing to worry about.
00:18Until she sends a replacement, she will.
00:20We're leveling you down a notch.
00:22You're not the bloody captain anymore.
00:24Is it you?
00:25Oh, I like this guy.
00:26You never told me your name.
00:27Helen.
00:28What's your name?
00:28This guy.
00:29Kevith.
00:30You're in so much trouble.
00:42Okay, this one.
00:43Mm-hmm.
00:44The biggest mountain.
00:45How many letters?
00:47Six.
00:48Sahara?
00:49S-A-H-A-R-A
00:55Okay, horizontal 20.
00:57Three letters.
00:59Go down in Italian.
01:01Do you see it?
01:04Hey!
01:05Don't you just stand up here!
01:10So, are you finished?
01:11Yeah?
01:12Yes, got it.
01:12Three, two, one!
01:27I'm on the fire!
01:29My God!
01:30Now I've lost everything!
01:42I'm on the fire!
02:12How many bags do you need?
02:31She done him, and then she done herself.
02:33Open the shut.
02:35How much longer is this gonna take?
02:37Why don't you head out?
02:39I can wrap up here.
02:40You sure you've got it?
02:42You said it yourself. Open and shut.
02:52That pint won't drink itself.
02:54Shouldn't there be more blood?
02:56Thinking the same thing.
02:58Maybe he was moved.
03:00There'd be drag marks.
03:02And nothing shows up with the luminol, either.
03:06She's only a little bit of a thing.
03:08She couldn't have moved him.
03:10I did find a strand of hair on our boy here.
03:16Doesn't look like it matches either victim.
03:18You run it for DNA?
03:20Yes, ma'am.
03:22And results come straight to me, all right?
03:24I see who else was in this flat last night.
03:28Live girls.
03:30Cupid's error.
03:32Sexy, sexy.
03:34Polish to the left. Polish to the right.
03:36Cupid's error.
03:38I change your life.
03:39Never know.
03:46Dancers to the right.
03:48Strip club.
03:50Asians to the left.
03:52Poli to the right.
03:54Cupid's error.
03:56Sexy, sexy.
03:58Cupid's error.
04:08Cupid's error.
04:10I need to go.
04:12I'm sorry.
04:16Jesus.
04:46What the hell is going on?
04:49Oh, you're in so much trouble.
04:52How do you take your tea?
04:54It isn't horrific, you know, which is a miracle.
04:57Do you have any clue what I went through last night?
05:00We are aware of the situation.
05:02I'm sorry about the girl.
05:03I understand the two of you connected.
05:05Yeah, just like you planned it.
05:07No, it was a surprise to us.
05:08Canvas Papadoras was not one of ours.
05:10Then who was she?
05:11Don't tell me you don't know.
05:12She was a witch.
05:16A what?
05:18She belonged to a very old coven in St. John's Wood,
05:21Regent's Canal.
05:22They're having a wake for her this evening.
05:24They like to keep an eye on us.
05:26Presumably that's what Papadoras was doing.
05:28Her particular gift was seduction and extraction,
05:31drawing people to her in order to gain information.
05:34So tell us everything you told her.
05:36I didn't tell her anything but didn't talk much.
05:38Oh, you just hit it and quit it, huh?
05:40You're a real class act.
05:42Sit down, guy.
05:43I found her hanging.
05:45You understand me?
05:47And that Archie guy, that guy you made me follow,
05:50whose throat ripped wide open.
05:52And I wouldn't have been there to see any of it.
05:54No, Jesus fucking Christ.
05:55I might be a suspect.
05:56No, guy.
05:57Your tracks are covered.
05:58Oh, yeah?
06:02Then you'll just what, huh?
06:05You'll just sweep it away?
06:07You'll forget it even happened?
06:09Well, I can't forget.
06:10Do you understand?
06:12Her face was blue.
06:15And it was like she was looking at me.
06:20Now you better read me in right now.
06:24Why am I here?
06:26Why are you here?
06:30What is this all about?
06:31Can you give us some privacy, Olive?
06:48Something very important has gone missing.
06:50It doesn't have an official name.
06:52We refer to it as the 752.
07:04I feel like I have blown this, right?
07:07And he looks at me in the eyes and he says,
07:08that took real bollocks doing what you did.
07:11Speaking truth to a superior.
07:13So Owen's calling it a promotion?
07:15That's to call it what it is, mate.
07:17I'm gonna be a director's affiliate.
07:19I didn't know there was a mother-ass in Jakarta.
07:22Yeah, well, you could block up the Thames
07:23with what you don't know, Robbie boy.
07:26It's part of an advanced team.
07:29There's a bit of a mortal problem there.
07:33Yeah, you need to start.
07:34Gathering intelligence.
07:36Full house.
07:37Up and running within a year.
07:39Up and stumbling with you at the tip of the sword.
07:40All right, I'm gonna give you one more pint.
07:44One more pint?
07:45Yeah, go on.
07:46Come on, let's have another pint.
07:47Come on, come on.
07:53Patting the head is considered an evil omen
07:57by the inhabitants of Jakarta.
08:01What the...
08:10The central library contained everything the telemasker had learned
08:19in our first thousand-some years since our founding in...
08:23Can you guess?
08:25752 A.D.
08:29Every treatise.
08:30Every folder.
08:31Every file.
08:32Genealogies.
08:33Animosities.
08:34Aliases.
08:35Whereabouts.
08:36Scandals.
08:37A minimum of knowledge went up in smoke.
08:40Unless it didn't.
08:44Unless someone managed to create a backup.
08:46A backup?
08:47Of an entire library?
08:49That's what the 752 is.
08:52A codex, an atlas, a single volume that contains all of the telemasker's accumulated knowledge.
08:58Created in secret by a rogue faction of our leadership and then hidden away.
09:02Wait a minute.
09:03So you're saying that everything in this massive library is now in this one book?
09:07It sounds far-fetched, I know.
09:10But...
09:1140 years ago no one could have contemplated the internet.
09:16People have different theories.
09:18Some people think it's a code or a map.
09:22Some say it's microfiche.
09:23That was state of the art in the 70s.
09:26Some people think it's an enchanted object like Pandora's box.
09:31And some, well, some people think the whole thing is a myth.
09:35But not you.
09:37Knowledge is the only leverage we have over the immortals.
09:40If the 752 does exist, it's the ultimate piece of leverage for us if we have it.
09:45And for somebody else if you don't.
09:46The telemasker may well be destroyed if the book should fall into the wrong hands.
09:51And life would never be the same again.
09:53For everyone.
09:54Mortal and immortal alike.
09:56Okay.
09:58What the hell happened last night?
10:00We have reason to believe the book is in London.
10:02Archie's arrival is only the latest piece of evidence to bolster that theory.
10:06A girl is dead.
10:07And what does this have to do with Kelis?
10:09Archie's been on the trail of the 752 for over a year.
10:11Someone or something led him to her.
10:13Why?
10:17Who was Archie?
10:19We think he was here on a contract from a fringe element in the London mother house.
10:24So did Archie kill Kelis or did somebody else kill both of them?
10:27I don't know.
10:30We need you giving your connection to the girl to pursue the answer to that part of the puzzle.
10:35She was a target.
10:37Maybe because she has something now or after.
10:39For example, yes.
10:40Okay, let me get this straight.
10:42So...
10:43Kevis.
10:44Yes.
10:45Who's good at getting information out of people is dead.
10:46Archie's got a real knack for getting intel.
10:48He's also dead.
10:49And here I am with the same set of skills and you want me to go poking around the same zip code?
10:53You are very gifted, Guy.
10:55Stop saying that.
10:56Okay.
10:57Say you get your hands on this book, this... thing.
11:12What do you do with it?
11:14Keep it from those who might use it to hurt people.
11:16No ulterior motives.
11:19I suppose one can't rule out the possibility that we all have ulterior motives, Guy.
11:35So?
11:36So what the hell was that at the club the other night?
11:37Trust me, you enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than I did.
11:41I'm your handler.
11:43I was handling you.
11:44If you were so worried about what I tell Kevis, how come you didn't warn me?
11:47Look, I didn't know what her angle was.
11:49Thought we might as well play out the hand.
11:51Yeah, well I guess she lost.
11:52Hey.
11:54Look.
11:55I didn't know that she was gonna get killed, okay?
12:01I'm guessing Helen gave you her whole song and dance about the 752.
12:04What, you don't believe it exists?
12:07Most people don't.
12:09Look, she knows things that I don't, and she's read into things I'm not.
12:13So it's not that I'm second guessing her, it's...
12:15Well, it kind of sounds like you are.
12:19She's gotta bug up her ass about it, that's all.
12:22She's acting a little, I don't know, untethered.
12:27I'm obviously in excellent hands.
12:29Hey, look.
12:31If that book doesn't exist, and the library burned to the ground with all that information,
12:36how does the telemask still wield so much power?
12:39We're talking about a way of life that's existed almost unchanged for centuries.
12:44With individuals who...
12:46will have very, very long memories.
12:51If you want someone to believe a lie,
12:53all you have to do is tell it to them over, and over, and over.
13:00Are you sure?
13:04I'm sorry, I'm actually back this way.
13:11I'll be in touch.
13:14Get some sleep.
13:16Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do.
13:18That's exactly what I'm gonna do.
13:29Come on.
13:30Come on.
13:31Let's go.
14:01Look.
14:08Look.
14:31Look.
14:33Look.
14:37Look.
14:39Look.
14:41Look.
14:43Look.
14:45Look.
14:47Look.
14:49Look.
14:51Look.
14:53Look.
14:55Look.
14:57Look.
14:59Look.
15:01Look.
15:03Look.
15:05Look.
15:07Look.
15:23Hello?
15:25Guy.
15:27Yes?
15:28I just want to make sure everything's okay.
15:31Mr. Osterhaus, uh...
15:33Family comes first, yeah?
15:35You know, take whatever time you need.
15:37Oh, yes.
15:38Thank you for, um, for calling.
15:41Uh, very kind of you.
15:43Look.
15:44Very kind to you.
15:45Look.
15:46If there's anything else going on,
15:48if money is an issue or if you want to talk about
15:51how we can make this job the best fit,
15:53you reach out.
15:54You're real important to us.
15:57Um, no, I-I really appreciate you calling and giving me a lot to think about.
16:00Call me any time.
16:01Okay, thank you.
16:02Yeah.
16:41Help you with something?
16:43I was a-a friend.
16:45Kevis's.
16:46Never seen you before?
16:48A recent friend.
16:53I'm sorry.
16:58I didn't mean to intrude.
16:59You can show your respects if you'd like.
17:11Who is this?
17:12Who is this?
17:13Who is this?
17:14Stranger.
17:15Who is this then?
17:16He knew Kevis.
17:17A friend.
17:18Oh, her type of friend, all right.
17:20Uh, how did you meet?
17:22At a bar.
17:24Right.
17:25Like I said.
17:26Whoosh!
17:39Hard to believe she's gone.
17:41This is, um, this is obviously a, uh, a family thing.
17:56I'll just...
18:18Hey.
18:19Guy.
18:22I'm Doris.
18:25She told me about you.
18:28She did.
18:33I just met her.
18:36She said you were a real catch.
18:39Then again, she wasn't always the greatest judge of character.
18:42Come.
18:53He didn't know any better from here.
18:54It just looks like a nice happy party.
18:57Yeah, it's a nice... party.
19:00Very pink party.
19:02What was her favorite color?
19:04Your neighbors find it... strange?
19:08Our neighbors are mostly Romany.
19:11They don't seem to mind.
19:26What are you doing?
19:28Nothing.
19:30If you want to ask me something, just ask.
19:33Are you, uh, are they...
19:35What?
19:36Does it matter?
19:38I know who you are.
19:39I don't have to ask.
19:41You're a liar.
19:42You dismount me, okay?
19:43You're Talamasca.
19:45That's why she was following you.
19:47She was our little spy.
19:49She doesn't usually...
19:51Didn't...
19:53Usually trust your ilk.
19:54None of us do.
19:55But she really did like you.
19:57I liked her too.
19:59Okay, I thought she was, um...
20:00Authentic.
20:04Authentic?
20:07What?
20:09There's something that you say about a dusty old necklace at a...
20:13Garage sale.
20:15She was more than that.
20:18She was...
20:23She was fun.
20:27You're blushing.
20:30You're not cut out for this.
20:32Doris, wait.
20:33Kevis had this thing.
20:34This book in her backpack.
20:38A book?
20:39Yeah.
20:40This leather-bound book.
20:41Kind of strange looking.
20:42Yeah, her scrapbook.
20:46She just stuck old pictures in it.
20:48Memories, that sort of thing.
20:50Yeah.
20:51Does she always carry it around with her?
20:52Always?
20:53I just...
20:54I think...
20:57Someone was after it.
20:58And I think Kevis got caught up in the middle of it.
21:01And the benevolent telemaskers are gonna come solve the case and give poor Kevis the justice she deserves.
21:08They can't be trusted, Guy.
21:10Do you hear me?
21:12You can't trust them.
21:14Just look at what happened to Soledad Marcel.
21:17Who the hell is Soledad Marcel?
21:19Who the hell is Soledad Marcel?
21:46No.
21:51Yeah, I do not succeed.
21:53No.
21:56Don't.
21:58You're the people who have been self-during.
22:01Oh, God.
22:03Not unless she thinks of someone else only.
22:06Don't let's do that ...
22:08Let's make it a deck.
22:10You're the only reason you get it.
22:12You're the getting a Network?
22:13I don't know.
22:43You said you wanted to know as soon as Archie checked in?
22:56We just got word he won't be.
22:59Checking in, that is.
23:02Ever.
23:02Ever.
23:12You've had our signals team on overtime for six weeks.
23:16Our field agents are run ragged.
23:19Davidson's been on that stakeout in Knightsbridge for a month and doesn't even know why.
23:23And I hear you've dispatched checkers to Jakarta.
23:27You've commandeered the resources of this house for a wild goose chase.
23:31Morales low.
23:32My whole team is uneasy.
23:33And now the police are investigating Archie's death.
23:37I'm afraid Amsterdam won't tolerate much more.
23:41Hmm.
23:41Because I thought Amsterdam lets each motherhouse operate independently.
23:47To a point, yes.
23:48But when they come down, they come down hard.
23:51You enjoy looking over your shoulder?
23:54Waiting for Amsterdam to come finger fuck you?
23:59Because I don't think they should have that much power.
24:01Is that what this is really all about?
24:05Power?
24:07Depends.
24:08I mean, from your perspective, this is really all about cancer.
24:14Right?
24:22Immortality can be tricky, but mortality is a...
24:26It's a real son of a bitch.
24:31Oh, and, um...
24:33It's not a wild goose chase.
24:37Why do you think Archie was killed?
24:40We're close.
24:41That's why.
24:43The book is here.
24:44In London.
24:46And we're not the only ones who want it.
24:48But we've got to stay strong.
25:08No cold feet.
25:10No wetting the bed about Amsterdam.
25:12Look at me.
25:15I know whining about your staff.
25:17Yeah?
25:18Yeah?
25:18That a boy.
25:32Chemo ain't gonna fix that, my friend.
25:35And hey, Checkers, I mean...
25:37Maybe he'll love Jakarta.
25:38That's a whole thing.
25:40Let's go to work.
25:42Okay.
25:42Let's go.
25:43All right.
25:44Let's go.
25:44Okay.
25:45Go to work.
25:47Let's go.
25:47Come on.
25:48Let's go.
25:50Let's go.
25:54Let's go.
25:55Let's go.
25:56How's it going?
26:13Well, I'm playing Where's Wally with the entire city of London.
26:18So...
26:18Honest labour builds character.
26:20Also fucks my plans for the evening.
26:24Big date.
26:26Why are we still digging on this?
26:30I thought it was all wrapped up.
26:32Murder, suicide.
26:33Call it due diligence.
26:38Ridge, need your signature on something.
26:41I'm busy. I'll do it later.
26:42I think you need to come do it now.
26:46Yes, okay.
26:50Hello, Miss...
26:52Agent Wakefield.
26:54MI5, Ridge.
26:56I understand you've taken an interest in my case.
26:59Would you like to come through to my office?
27:01She just needs you to sign out the autopsy photos from the murder suing.
27:05And might I ask why you'd need those photos?
27:08Well, you might ask all you like.
27:10I'm afraid I can't give you any answers, though.
27:11I was at the scene myself.
27:16I'm sure I could offer some insight and...
27:17Just your signature.
27:24Sorry.
27:25May I see your credentials?
27:27Already done, Ridge.
27:28She checks out.
27:31Should I call Detective Huff?
27:32No, no.
27:36It's quite all right.
27:39Great.
27:41Thank you for your service.
27:51MI5.
27:51More like MI10.
27:53Print me out a copy of those photos.
27:55Hmm?
27:56Now.
28:11You're making a big mistake here.
28:13I've got a second cousin who works at the Metropolitan Police.
28:16He's pretty high up.
28:17Do you know why?
28:17Because he's a Nutsa bastard.
28:20No mercy at all.
28:22Did you hear me?
28:23I'll come for you.
28:25You and that freaky Yank psycho.
28:27Let's go.
28:44Okay.
28:45Okay.
28:45We can work something out.
28:47You and I.
28:48Come here.
28:49Um.
28:49Uh.
28:50What do you...
28:51What do you like?
28:52What do you like?
28:53Uh.
28:54Uh.
28:54Drugs?
28:55Uh.
28:56Girls?
28:56Girls?
28:57I-I-I-I-I-I can get you anything.
29:00Anything.
29:02Anything.
29:07Don't do this.
29:09Please don't do this.
29:11Don't kill me.
29:12Please.
29:12Oh, I'm not going to kill you.
29:23Ah!
29:24Ah!
29:25Ah!
29:26Ah!
29:27Ah!
29:46Water...
29:48Water.
29:49Water, please.
29:51Drink up.
30:00There you go.
30:21Now comes the hard part.
30:26There you go.
30:27Well...
30:28There you go.
30:29No.
30:30No.
30:31No.
30:32No.
30:33No.
30:34No.
30:59No.
31:29No.
31:59No.
32:12No.
32:14No.
32:29Did you see that?
32:59You told me you could learn a lot about somebody by following them, but fuck if I know what you're doing in this place.
33:14What are you doing here? How did you find me?
33:17I picked you up outside your flat and I followed you.
33:20My flat? How did you...
33:22I clocked a black car out the front of Porky's, so I ditched Olive, I doubled back, and I waited for you to come out.
33:28I flagged a cab and I tailed you.
33:31Of course, you gave the driver the wrong address, because I ended up at a tea shop on Camden Lane,
33:36and you must have slipped out the back door, because that's where I lost you.
33:41So, I cased the neighborhood, until I found the blandest-looking storefront with a flat above it, and the blinds pulled shut.
33:54And voila.
33:56I'm actually impressed.
33:59You gave me books to read on Spycraft, I read them. We like books.
34:03And what do they say about following protocol? We contact you. That's how it works.
34:08What the hell is this place?
34:10It's a telemasker facility, or it was. Top secret one.
34:22This seems like a charming spot. Lots of good vibes. What they used to do here? Torture puppies?
34:28They started marking me when I was a child, just like you. Only they didn't just keep tabs on me. They took me in when I was eight years old.
34:37They took you in?
34:38Brought me to live here.
34:40Your parents just let you go.
34:42They didn't have much say in the matter.
34:45What did the telemasker want with you at that age?
34:48They brought me here for testing.
34:50There were about 20 of us.
34:57I wanted to see what my mind could do if I had any special abilities.
35:06Memory, mathematics, intuition. It was all part of some hush-hush program.
35:15What kind of program?
35:17I never found out.
35:24Whatever they were looking for, I don't think I had much of it.
35:27Eventually they sent me to the States.
35:30Cambridge, Massachusetts. My uncle took me in.
35:34I was only here a couple of years. Others stayed much longer.
36:04So, the telemasker makes you into a human guinea pig.
36:16You think to yourself,
36:18that's who I want to work for when I grow up.
36:21They gave me a life when I had nothing.
36:35A week before I came here,
36:37both my parents died instantly when our Vauxhall hit a telephone pole.
36:41My father was driving. He liked to drink.
36:48Just like my mom liked to shoot drugs, right?
36:50That's the part where you tell me that we're not so different after all.
36:53Children from broken homes make outstanding spies.
36:57We're good at keeping secrets.
36:59Don't easily trust people.
37:00Especially those that lie to us over and over again.
37:03What do you want, Guy? Why did you follow me?
37:09The truth. All of it.
37:11The truth.
37:13Very well.
37:15The London mother house has been infiltrated.
37:23Gregory Owen, its top man, has been turned.
37:26He's taking orders from a vampire named Jasper,
37:29who we believe is making use of the telemasker's personnel and resources
37:33to search for the 752.
37:35We fear he's close to finding it.
37:37That's why we brought you in so quickly.
37:39But given the incidents of the past few days,
37:41we need you to move faster, to get closer.
37:44We need you in the mother house.
37:46And how do I do that?
37:47You knock on the door.
37:48Just like that?
37:50Smart guy and intuitive.
37:52I could give you a plan,
37:53but whatever you come up with in the moment will work far better.
37:56I guarantee it.
37:57You're setting me up.
38:00Soledad Marcel.
38:02Just another dead girl, right?
38:04The sucker before me got killed.
38:06Don't you think that maybe you could have told me about that?
38:09Giving you too much information could put you at greater risk.
38:11Oh.
38:12Really?
38:13So you were protecting me?
38:16Yes.
38:17What else you protected me from?
38:18What do you know about my mom?
38:20Because I know she's still alive and I know she was telemasker.
38:24You don't know anything you think you do, but you don't.
38:26So enlighten me.
38:27What does my mother have to do with the 752?
38:30Because I know there's a connection
38:32and I know that is the reason why I'm here.
38:34Your mother did a very bad thing.
38:36We lost her.
38:37Oh, fuck off!
38:38She's a fugitive.
38:39The telemasker has been looking for her for years.
38:41Why?
38:42What does she do?
38:43Guy, the more I tell you, the more danger you're in.
38:45Bullshit.
38:47I'm bait on a line.
38:49That's it.
38:50That is what you're doing.
38:51You're trying to lure her out.
38:53That is the whole reason you've recruited me.
38:55It's a lot more complicated than that, Guy.
38:57Yeah, I'm sure it is, Helen.
38:58That's not even your real name, is it?
39:00Of course it isn't.
39:01Jesus.
39:02What?
39:04I'm done, okay?
39:05I'm done.
39:06I'm going back to New York and I'm taking that job at Cabin.
39:08I'm sorry, Guy.
39:10But that's not an option that's available to you.
39:12Not anymore.
39:13Not an option that's available to me?
39:16So say I leave right now.
39:18Never come back.
39:19What happens?
39:21I really wouldn't do that if I were you.
39:24What I'm tasking you with is critical and we don't have much time.
39:29Go to the mother house.
39:31Use your training.
39:32Get to Jasper and find out how close he is to getting the 752.
39:37I really hope all this is worth it for you.
39:43It's time.
39:47Too late.
39:48ному
39:49There's no verb.
39:50Piano
39:55Ru bots
39:561
39:593
40:044
40:065
40:08This is your man.
40:16This bloke shows up in all the footage of Archie.
40:20Here he is again.
40:24Poor bastard never knew he was being tailed.
40:35So much for murder-suicide.
40:38So who is this mystery man?
40:55It is rather peaceful, isn't it?
40:59Yeah. It can be. I suppose it depends.
41:02So, in my line of work, when there's an incident like this,
41:09we do what's called a profile. It's like a story.
41:11Yeah, I know what a profile is.
41:13Of course you do, yeah.
41:15Is everything all right?
41:18Yeah.
41:19Who are you all, anyway?
41:24Just friends.
41:26All living together on a houseboat.
41:28Bit unusual, don't you think?
41:32Are you married?
41:34No.
41:36Do you live alone?
41:38Yeah.
41:40Happy with that?
41:42If it's unusual, maybe the problem is with what's usual.
41:46Look, I understand that this is a hard time.
41:49And I know you two are close.
41:52But I could use your help,
41:54because Kevis doesn't strike me as a kind of young woman
41:56who'd hurt herself, doesn't feel like her story.
41:59And if it isn't, it'd be a shame if that's how it's told.
42:02Take a look at this.
42:08We don't have a clear shot of his face.
42:12Have you seen these trainers?
42:14No.
42:16No, I've never seen them before.
42:32I gotta rumor.
42:33Get that out.
42:34Move.
42:35I'm gonna know you.
42:36Let's put that in here.
42:37Okay, so here we go.
42:57All right.
42:58Anyway, let's see if I see them.
43:00Honestly.
43:24Oh, my God.
43:26I'm afraid I have no idea
43:29what you're going on about how long are we gonna keep this up i am the man in charge do you
43:35understand you are speaking to that man that man that hired archie to hang a woman then killed him
43:40off to keep him quiet don't worry owen i know it wasn't you you're listening up there i know you
43:50are i can feel it you want me to go to the cops big old double murder i bet they'd love to have
43:59a solid lead you want them crawling all over this place you want me to give them your name jasper
44:07that's right i know your name man well i'm sure our evening security guard will be very flattered by your
44:29the cops huh
44:45please don't
44:46you'll have to excuse owen he's a very sick man big c but we have this little arrangement that
44:55should fix all that eventually you know if he keeps playing ball
45:01what are you doing here i came here to meet you okay now we've met what else i'm telemasca
45:14they recruited me in new york just a few weeks ago though they've been watching me for a lot longer
45:22they brought me over here because there was a problem at the london mother house that's how they
45:25put it they had me tell archie i saw what he did to the witch and what somebody did to him maybe that's
45:30someone's you i don't know no no i can assure you that's not me i found them both
45:38blood everywhere kept us hanging
45:42and they said i had to get closer to you knock on your door like i just did
45:46insinuate myself get a job here maybe find a way to get your attention
45:55so do i have your attention
46:00why are you telling me all this because they lied to me
46:05over and over soledad marcel they didn't tell me what happened to her but i found out
46:10they think that they can send me in here to be their patsy like she was they think that i'm expendable
46:19just like her they think that i'll just take it but i won't do that they think i'm their boy but i'm
46:26not their fucking boy they stole my life they took my mother i thought she was dead all my life since i
46:37was a kid but she wasn't dead she was telemasker they knew and they didn't tell me
46:46she helen she knew and she didn't tell me
46:55she used me the kid no family no friends
47:02she offered me a chance to belong to be a part of something be a part of the family that's how
47:06she put it and
47:12it's all bullshit she ruined my life they ruined my life i'm done with this
47:28i'm gonna go because you don't seem very
47:31interested
47:37you haven't told me what you want
47:41to make them pay
47:44for what they did to me to my mom
47:47and how exactly do you propose to make them pay
47:53the book the book the 752
47:59i saw it with my own eyes
48:01it was in the witch's backpack she had the goddamn thing
48:12so you know what it looks like and i know who has it because i know who killed archie
48:17you and i could have some fun together after all
48:27well i'll be in touch
48:29oh no i can't let you go out into the streets at this time of night not in this fucking neighborhood
48:35stay
48:40i really should be going
48:41i insist
48:51see the punctures vampire bite
48:53that's who killed archie
48:56and it's who took the book
49:10my sister is all i have i've done everything in my power to find her
49:28what the hell have you gotten yourself mixed up in what the hell is that
49:39showtime kid
49:45the london mother house has been infiltrated gregory owen its top man has been turned
49:52he's taking orders from a vampire named jasper
49:58ava sorok who is the director of that episode really wanted us to come in hot
50:09do you have any clue when i went through last night
50:11and really showed that he doesn't belong here and the tala mascot is not to be trusted
50:16sit down guy i found her hanging helen is prepared to just let him get stuff off his chest
50:21and that archie guy that guy can fall is probably wide open but then remind him about the deeper
50:27agenda if the 752 does exist it's the ultimate piece of leverage for us if we have it for somebody
50:34else if you don't he doesn't care what she's got to offer he's jumping so so what the hell was that
50:39at the club the other night turns out that all of us is direct handler from black i didn't know that
50:45she was gonna get killed okay after kevis's death the natural place for guy to go is to this week
50:58in episode three we get a crucial look at the witch's coven on the houseboat and how they take
51:05over that little portion of the canal peter walpole who's our amazing production designer and his team
51:12created the houseboat kind of from scratch what a crazy life it is when you can have the weird idea
51:19by yourself in a room and you go this will never work and then you there you are and you go wow somebody
51:23actually took me seriously and went beyond what i even hoped for it was just this beautiful set that
51:30came together and fit into those surroundings in a way that i think gives our show some real richness
51:35and is not what you necessarily expect when you think about witches so it was freezing freezing freezing
51:41cold and it was my first day of filming all of the sequences that they made of our coven with the
51:46witches are spectacular guy gets to meet doris she's in mourning for her best friend kevis and we're
51:53going to find out a whole lot more about that relationship i'm action i'm doris she told me about
52:00you at the beginning part of doris wants nothing to do with him because that could be dangerous for her
52:05i know where you are i don't have to ask just about me okay tell her masker another part of her
52:10sees that he's fundamentally a good person and that he's going to get himself killed and maybe there's
52:15a part of her that thinks i wasn't able to save kevis but maybe i can save guy you're not cut out for this
52:22the fact that helen sends guy into the clutches of jasper even after this door has been opened and
52:37they're on this journey of intimacy together is indicative that helen is a damaged person
52:43so say i leave right now never come back i really wouldn't do that if i were you
52:49in helen says you figure it out whatever you come up with whatever story you give will be far
52:55better than what i could possibly script for you jasper listens to everyone what are you doing here
53:08i came here to meet you okay now we've met what else does he believe them i'm telling masker he might
53:15he might not but it doesn't matter and they said i had to get closer to you knock on your door like
53:21i just did he's like i got nothing else left here so i'm gonna put all my cards on the table
53:26take him if you want him i'll be told to come here by helen and i'm telling you just that
53:30why are you telling me all this let him keep going i'll figure out where they're gonna fit into my world
53:35you and i could have some fun together after all because everything is about what jasper wants to get
53:40i really should be going bill figno plays jasper is so insanely charismatic that you just can't help
53:49but fall in love with him i wouldn't say smitten is the right word but i think that jasper really
53:55kind of likes this guy
