41:15In episode five, what we very quickly come to find out is that Jasper has some plans for Guy.

41:30Now Guy has really crossed the line with Jasper.
41:33And Jasper lets him know it.
41:35I'm scared of Jasper.

41:43It was important for us to set this scene in the basement.
41:46It's a place that we've only seen in which these horrible animals are either made or kept.
41:52Now we're in Revenant's world.
41:54We really are in Revenant's world at the start of episode five.
41:57Yeah, we're down on this freezing floor in a basement.
42:00I'm like, couldn't we do this on a soundstage with a heater?

42:12I have a big lever, which Nick keeps teasing me.

42:25And I'll just lift it up and things will happen.
42:29When Guy gets in deep trouble with Jasper over what's happened at the hotel and the fact that he's been keeping stuff from Jasper,
42:36Doris jumps in to save him.
42:41When I read it, I was like, yeah, go on, Doris.
42:43I shot the fire myself, but not at Bill.
42:46They had Bill here, a green screen here.
42:48So he shot his reaction to me throwing the flame.
42:52Then they removed the green screen and shot me shooting the flame out of the aerosol.
42:56And then they combined the two images together so it will look like I am shooting the flame at Bill.
43:02But in fact, I'm not.
43:04We're watching Jasper set on fire done by the stuntman Ben, who is...
43:08That looks so real.
43:09This part here is amazing.
43:11I mean, it is real.

43:13He's got protection and stuff, but he is really on fire.
43:17I've gone through my storyboards, and what I want to do here is that as he goes up into flames,
43:21he carries on pushing away Doris until he pushes her down the stairs.
43:26She's going to fall down, and then he's going to get hit.
43:29He's going to go down.
43:32So it's a super dynamic, exciting shot.
43:34And at the end, the revenants are going to go from those cages,
43:37charging around this corner to follow.
43:40So, yeah, it's super dynamic.
43:42It's all shot in little bits, but in the edit, it all comes together
43:44in a gorgeous conflagration of delight.
43:47On the next day, we had me and Guy running to the car,
43:51all the revenants climbing onto the car.
43:54It is a big action sequence, and I think it's a lot of fun and violent.
43:58Both the capture and escape of Guy and Doris from Jasper and the revenants
44:04is a real crescendo to this great series.
44:07The action really comes out in full effect.
44:11Put a coin in the slot.
44:14I really loved that scene at Cupid's Era
44:19where we were playing in the peep show between Helen and Guy.
44:22If you don't help me, Helen, if you won't help me, I'm dead.
44:27I think at that point, Helen's ambivalence about the telemasker
44:32has so chipped away at her inner resolve
44:35that she is particularly vulnerable to turning.
44:39And I love the way the scene is written
44:42because Guy has reached a point of maturation
44:46where he's now calling the shots.
44:49He knows that she's looking for her sister,
44:51and he knows that the 752 may be the answer for her,
44:55and so he's got an upper hand here.
44:57Sure about this?
44:59No, but it's what we got.
45:01Doris is immediately skeptical of going into the safe house from the start.
45:06I think she thinks this is potentially perilous.
45:08But the two find themselves in this place overnight there,
45:11and all they have is each other.
45:13Guy and Doris have bonded together and attached to the hip a little bit,
45:18even though they're still wary of one another.
45:20It kind of feels like an oasis,
45:22a slower pace than the rest of the show.
45:24It was nice because the characters felt very vulnerable
45:27and like two kids.
45:33I win.
45:34We think that the revenants are coming for Guy and Doris,
45:42hopefully up until the last second,
45:43in which we find out that that's not where they're headed.
45:48We had four or five kills on the boat,
45:51but timed out so that as the revenant landed on the roof,
45:53it goes with her, flying through the air,
45:55lands the roof, comes down into the first window,
45:58and we see someone getting their neck eaten,
46:00and then we see someone get slashed across the throat.
46:02So we had, in the four windows,
46:04we had a kill in each window.
46:07I knew that Olive was a mole pretty early on.
46:10I was like, fantastic, of course she is.
46:12It makes total sense.
46:13She is here for the bigger picture.
46:14What is going to get me to the 752?
46:17And that's Jasper.
46:18And Jasper is alive,
46:20but he's been burned by them,
46:22and now he's got a renewed sense of vengeance
46:24to come after them in episode six.
46:43And he's got a man.
