Transcript
00:00okay let's talk tariffs again before it's news.com i've written several pieces on tariffs
00:13including back when when i was saying it still is true i am anti-tax and yes tariff
00:24is a tax but it's a more complicated issue than just that right so i am against taxes but at the
00:35same time you know what i'm against using military force to invade china over economic taxation
00:46tariff uh trade issue do you want an economic trade war or do you want an all-out military
00:58conflict to resolve the issue so i give trump grace in this issue it tariffs are a tool to use
01:11so i put aside my normal opposition and because it's all we got to use okay and
01:25as long as a responsible uh leadership is in place that i can somewhat trust right i don't trust
01:38anyone completely i don't agree with anyone completely i worship no man on this planet
01:44there was only one perfect person that walked it and that was jesus uh right a piece on
01:53former nincom pope as i coined francis right nope sorry just another man not above criticism
02:03anyway those are other subjects and i apologize in advance i'm gonna forget something but i just saw
02:11talking about tariffs again the left distortions always lie lie lie spin dodge deflect pardon
02:26uh i had some potato salad and uh apparently the mayo is coming back there uh tmi i know i know apologies
02:37again tariffs the good the bad the ugly you're only getting that here right the left oh they're all
02:47bad they're all bad even though you know tariffs existed under biden tariffs existed under obama bill
02:56clinton blah blah blah blah right but uh so tariffs can be dangerous that's why you've got to be careful
03:07with them yes they can go too far and cause problems the issue here is the left lies lies
03:16tariffs especially like from china being absorbed by the ccp because they were already subsidizing
03:28their industries to undercut our companies and undercut our economy undercut our culture it's a form of
03:40economic warfare so if they were already subsidizing
03:44widgets we put a hundred percent tariff on widgets they subsidize it even more so that they still keep
03:55the price of the widgets artificially low now again that's an arbitrary artificial product and an
04:04artificial number for way of example so the cost of widgets didn't go up automatically by 100 percent
04:13that the left lies about wanting right and the same is true for other things from other places companies
04:23the left refuses to acknowledge accounting and both sides of the ledger in other things also before
04:34first news i wrote is the number six always better than the number three right like wages are
04:42indeed up and growing inflation way down now both sides of the economic ledger this is why they don't want
04:55civics economics history or even basic math taught in schools they want a dumbed down
05:04populace of sheeple that are easy to fool right buy dumb nine percent inflation and i'm not going to get into
05:14why it was actually double digit carter like stagflation and they fudged the numbers see the episode on the
05:23video exclusive on the left and i think there's before it's news piece on that the left fudging the numbers always
05:31what matters in the job market is the labor workforce participation rate that measurement hasn't changed
05:39the highway they record the unemployment
05:43is and it's flaky so the unemployment number is not the important number the important number is the labor
05:52participation rate is it going up or is it going down or stagnant right again whole other
06:00subject but again fudging the numbers during biden let's just for sake of argument say nine percent
06:10inflation was the correct number it wasn't but for sake of argument uh the normal accepted standard
06:21there will always be inflation that's why you will never see 15 cent mcdonald's hamburgers ever again
06:28or a nickel mug of rupee at amw again or 59 cents a gallon gas ever again once inflation
06:36it's kind of baked in the cake but yes good policy can help some of that come back down like price of gas
06:48but you're never going to see even to the price of gas back to what it was during trump's first term
06:54never going to happen all that biden inflation doesn't just disappear now that we've got it back
07:02down to 2.7 that's not the norm 2.2 we got a ways to go but point being yes you get the price of gas
07:12down transportation costs to deliver product goes down other products like groceries then also can't come
07:22down down to never go with the cost of eggs are never going back to what they were 10 years ago
07:30biden slaughtered all those birds you don't just ignore that fact other policy changes have made it so
07:41that we can get cost of eggs reasonable again but never going back to where they were
07:49four eight 12 years ago that's inflation never go except for a deflationary period which that has its
08:01own pitfalls and perils issues that's not to say like i might why does my microwave only cost two hundred
08:09dollars when they first came out it was two thousand dollars where's the built-in inflation you're talking
08:16about there left hards there are exceptions i'm talking normal natural regular commodity items a
08:26innovative item like your tv or the microwave when it first comes out it's big it's bulky it's expensive
08:37the research and the research and development has to be recouped microwaves used to cost two
08:44thousand dollars they improved the designs they reduced the cost to make them now so they went from two
08:54thousand to fifteen hundred to a thousand to eight hundred to two hundred dollars ish today to buy a
09:03microwave so that's not the inflation aspect that's a different thing that's a part supply and demand
09:14and part research and development and you know right um uh i was starting to say about companies some
09:25companies are absorbing the tariff the widget maker company makes widgets and there's a 10 percent
09:36tariff on widgets coming from england so widget makers of england absorb some or all of that 10 percent tariff
09:48so no the cost of the uk widget didn't automatically go up by 10 percent other factors of good policy may be
09:59driving the overall cost of widgets down so even if they were put in i know left parricks this is difficult
10:08play this back several times till you get it you you won't get it of course because you don't know you
10:14don't want to know you just want to maintain your delusion right but widgets might be coming down
10:22a bit and the 10 percent would put it back up so it's not going up a full 10 percent because they were
10:29coming down already and again uk widget makers of england may be absorbing a lot of that 10 percent
10:38tariff so they don't have to raise the price to the consumer and make it up in bulk hence the tvs or
10:48the microwaves argument right okay we're making a little less profit per item but we're making it up in
10:59bulk new sales make it up in volume see this is why the left doesn't want
11:07economics taught it's complex there are money moving parts many aspects of it it isn't so simple
11:17of oh a 10 percent tariff tax automatically means the price goes up by 10 percent no wrong false
11:28leftist lies and indeed most of the tariffs are being absorbed by either a state actor
11:38putting in the putting in more subsidies and or companies absorbing some or all depending right
11:45they can't absorb usually a hundred percent tariff but china can the communists in china can with all the
11:55trillions we've allowed of american dollars to go over china they're subsidizing their products with our money
12:03they're subsidizing their companies government communist owned with our monies
12:12so it's a lie that the price of everything is going up because of the tariffs it depends on
12:22the item it depends on the situation it depends on all kinds of factors like governmental policy now better than
12:33during the biden years supply and demand uh whether some of the costs are being absorbed or all passed on
12:44all these are factors and again i apologize i'm i'm sure i'm gonna forget something here because
12:51there are so many aspects of this but bottom line or the two bottom lines left lies always lies they will
13:02never deal in the whole picture period only want to alinsky right isolate target focus attack the one
13:14aspect the one concept tariff is a tax yes it is a tax automatically means it'll go up no wrong false
13:24false false false false false a tax on you yeah automatically means your tax went up and you'll have less of your own income
13:33the left always wanting to tax you more the trump tax cuts no not for the rich
13:40what rich person you know got rich based on overtime pay or tips didn't happen doesn't happen
13:53no tax on tips within a degree a cap exists yes no tax on overtime yes a cap exists those affect low and
14:05lower middle class income families you all got a tax break i'm on disability i got no break i got no break
14:16i'm back to uh let me write this down ss for social security oh six three i gotta get back to that i got up
14:26social security bidem years inflation nine percent it was higher cost of living adjustments for those on
14:36disability or you at work your raise may have gone from two and a half percent three percent during
14:46trump's first term who may be four percent okay all right let's even say six percent not true but
14:57for sake of argument again my cost of living adjustments were around like three percent the rate of inflation nine
15:07every year during biden i had less buying power the value of my dollar got less and less and less
15:15and less and less i had to find more and more and more corners to cut to fit like the electric bill that
15:24kept going up in my budget the gas bill that kept going up in my budget the cost of keeping the roof
15:32over my head going up the cost of groceries to feed myself under biden why the cost of groceries over the
15:43term of biden was like 35 went up 35 percent my income didn't go up by 35 percent during that time so
15:53let's assume let's for sake of argument say you got a six percent raise at work during biden oh my
16:04goodness you're so happy because under trump's first term you only got a three percent raise six is better
16:11than three right no not necessarily idiot math accounting both sides of the ledger
16:24six percent more coming in but guess what nine twelve twenty percent more going out you lost money you lost
16:36round you didn't gain you lost six under biden was not better than three under trump because inflation was
16:48only two and a half percent your three percent raise was better than the two and a half percent inflation rate
16:56you were gaining you were getting ahead you had more buying power
17:01left and right gamut and credits all aspects of every equation it's algebra not simple math
17:13a b and d and e on the other side of the equal sign matters we're dealing in algebra and the left can't handle two plus two
17:25all right social security i mentioned that right from my disability no way kept up with
17:36the rate of inflation during biden uh your wages no way kept up with inflation unless if you got a promotion
17:46and got a 10 percent bump in a year well that may have been one year you may have beat inflation the one
17:53year but the other three years you lost ground and if all you ever got was standard raises even at five
18:01six or seven percent you lost ground a trump raise of three and a half percent in his first term while
18:11inflation was two and a half percent was better than the six percent raise under biden with double
18:18double digit inflation same for now that inflation is down to 2.7 we are working on policy to bring
18:27it down even more and we got to get rid of jerome fowell i've talked about that right bring down interest
18:34rates there is a housing crisis bubble in many housing crisis there aren't enough houses a bubble
18:43also their cost is over in slated and if we're not careful they drop like in 2008 someone has a
18:55on paper 250 000 home but it's really ultimately truly only worth 175 000 and if we're not careful it drops
19:07from 250 to 175k and they've got a 210k mortgage some of them are going to do what walk away like happened
19:19in 2008 and then there's a glut of houses that banks own because they had to foreclose now we are in better
19:29shape if that happens now because of the supply and demand side problem there aren't enough houses so if
19:36banks lined up stuck with houses they're likely to be able to quickly hand them over to a real
19:44estate firm who can then sell them yes the banks will lose money but they won't lose like happened in 2008
19:54and collapses happen variables variables this what if this what if that what and what if all three
20:06happen happen at once only one of the three happens these are complex issues and the left targets can't
20:14handle simple let alone compacts and they want to try to ignore the complex oh focus focus alinsky style
20:24alinsky's can't talk again alinsky style target focus tariff tax went up
20:35it'll cost you more not necessarily stop listening to the left and a media spin that spin they're not
20:48showing you the whole picture look look look straight forward don't mind the peripheral vision
20:54the things over there that also factor and matter
21:02okay i i've repeated a few things now but i needed to
21:08this is why i'm repeating this this is why the left took civics out of schools they don't want you to
21:15understand the political process this is why they took economics out of the school they don't want you to
21:21understand basic accounting this is why they took history out of the school they don't want you to
21:27understand the historical aspects of fiscal policy and leftist failure they don't want you to understand the
21:36failure of communism and socialism and fascism everywhere
21:41oh they'll do it right they'll do it better no no we tried communism on our soil again before it's
21:50news this is why some don't want history taught in school the failure of the initial mayflower commie
21:58compact at the bradford colony look up the history we tried collective rights and collective property
22:06ownership they almost all starved to death bradford then pivoted to individual rights and personal
22:15responsibilities over collective personal property rights over collective ownership and the rest they
22:24say as they say is history right the united states was going on to be formed in biblical free will
22:33community free will not worldly communism force theft redistribution
22:44all these things matter but they don't want it taught they don't even want basic math taught right two
22:52plus two can equal five if that's what you feel it should be oh my god your self-esteem matters more
23:02than reality style over substance no substance matters detail details matter context matters
23:15back to the spin all these things factor you have to look at the whole picture not just the one piece of
23:22oh look at that piece of the puzzle it looks like uh a foot uh can you tell based on that foot the
23:31overall picture no you gotta put the whole puzzle together and see the whole picture
23:41okay
23:44again apologies you've got more
23:48raging joe than calm cool collected analytical joe but even though i got passionate
23:57nothing nothing of what i said can be refuted nothing not a thing oh yeah again i used arbitrary numbers for
24:08example oh that number is wrong all they can do is nitpick because they cannot refute
24:18my logic reason common sense they're all about emotion and keeping you dumbed down so they could trigger
24:29you emotionally to sheeple herd you into a path that's against your own best interest so the tariffs are
24:38working are they working perfectly are they working perfectly no are they working as intended yes they're
24:47fluctuating they're flowing sometimes he's raising them sometimes he's lowering them he's threatening the
24:54use of them and if we can get a good deal they go away though tariffs aren't always going to be there either
25:03once the tariffs put on doesn't mean it's permanent unlike the left anything they do they do and they
25:11want it permanent now the tariffs are a temporary tool they are going up they're going down they're going
25:20sideways and yes uncertainty i get that uncertainty can be an issue but we have to be flexible and involving
25:31other nations as part of the diplomacy again they don't want civics taught in school but part of
25:39diplomacy means some give and take some people are upset oh my alarm's going off i gotta get ready for an
25:47interview well some people are upset with trump you said you put a hundred percent tariff on china on the
25:55set and the other thing and then 30 days later you you put it off for another 30 days and you
26:01put it off that's part of the diplomacy that's part of the negotiation i get it i many times
26:09would you said you were going to do it do it stop letting them stall and drag out the process but
26:17we're negotiating with a lot of different countries including allied nations all at once so yeah some
26:25temporary uh delays uh are going to happen in the implementation and sometimes a tariff will be
26:35canceled entirely because hopefully we can make a deal complexity the left doesn't understand it i know you
26:44can but you're not getting it from the news so i'm asking you to stop and think
26:52and not let the news push you emotionally think you know everything i've said is true
27:02think about it don't react emotionally about it thank you all take care god bless love you all
