00:00We'll take a look at Tennessee's matchup against Florida last week.
00:04Coach, I told you, back-to-back home games for the Florida Gators,
00:08two rivalry games.
00:09There's no doubt they're going to get up for both.
00:11Which one would it be?
00:13Well, it wasn't against the Volunteers.
00:15They fell behind 21-0.
00:17Coach, they got blown out.
00:1931-11, this Tennessee team played very well on both sides of the football.
00:24Joey Aguilar and the offense stepped up.
00:26Josh Heifel and this team put up some numbers last week.
00:30Yeah, it was 31-0 at halftime.
00:33The stadium was half empty.
00:35I think Florida just gave up the ghost.
00:37They had been through what they can.
00:40They've lost games.
00:41The new coach is being talked about, and everybody is looking for the future.
00:47And so don't feel good about their ability.
00:49I didn't feel good about their ability to play good again.
00:52Tennessee, again, it is a rivalry.
00:54You made the point, which one's more important, Tennessee or Florida State?
00:58Well, you'd think Florida State is the way they played against Tennessee.
01:02But the point is, I'm not sure they've got anything left.
01:06And although it would be a very, very big for those players and those fans to come back
01:11and beat Florida State in a game that would allow Florida State to go to a bowl if they could win.
01:17Yeah, when you look at Florida and LSU, just thoughts.
01:21Which one is the better program right now?
01:24LSU struggled to cover against Western Kentucky.
01:27They win that game 13-10.
01:29We know that Florida has the resources.
01:32We heard certain reports that if Lane Kiffin is offered $90 million,
01:36LSU would throw $25 million maybe at a roster.
01:41Thoughts about, in your opinion, which is the better job, LSU or the Gators?
01:45That's a toss-up to me, depending on where you like to live and what you look for in a place.
01:51But, I mean, personally, I love LSU because I know the commitment,
01:56the lack of anything else that matters to people in Louisiana but college football.
02:00I think you've got more diversity.
02:02Their basketball program is big.
02:03They've got other interests in Florida.
02:05I think they're both great places where you will have the resources to win national championship.
02:10For me, I just like the total commitment to college football that LSU has.
02:16But I will say this, in regard to Lane Kiffin, I think he has some ties to Florida that may override that.
02:23Yeah, and let's just say one of the programs are going to lose out, whether it be LSU or whether it be Florida.
02:30Where does the other program go, potentially?
02:33Because you're going from Lane Kiffin, the hottest potential commodity in all of college football right now,
02:39the drop-off could be severe.
02:42Is it a coach like Drinkwitz for LSU and even Florida?
02:45Is it Summerall?
02:46Give me your thoughts about who potentially could take the other job, should Kiffin bolt Ole Miss in Week 14.
02:53Well, there's definitely only one major name out there, and that's Lane Kiffin.
02:58Everything else, from the standpoint of signing a big publicity sign,
03:03there's nobody out there that has the kind of flair and the name recognition that he has.
03:08But there are some good ones out there.
03:10And, of course, John Summerall, who was wanted badly by Auburn as well.
03:14He's from Alabama.
03:15But I look at Drinkwitz in Missouri, who's done a good job.
03:19You know, nobody talks about the coach at SMU.
03:21But, actually, I mean, he would fit perfectly at Florida if they were to go after somebody like him.
03:27I don't think anybody is thinking about some of these coaches.
03:30But I'm going to tell you, if Florida is doing things behind the scenes,
03:33those coaches will pay attention because most every coach in the country knows
03:37that you've got everything you need to win a championship at the University of Florida as well as LSU.
03:43Is Drinkwitz still a hot commodity?
03:46I know they lost to Oklahoma.
03:48They lost to Vanderbilt.
03:49Or would Lee be potentially that name now?
03:52I mean, seeing what Lee has done in Vanderbilt, if you were making the decision,
03:57would you go Drinkwitz or would you go Lee?
03:59I'd go Drinkwitz.
04:00I think his body of work is better.
04:02Lee, you know, he had two losing seasons without Pavia.
04:05And then when Pavia came, he went 7-6, winning the bowl.
04:08But he didn't win on his own.
04:09He is smart enough to get that quarterback to go there.
04:13But we don't know for sure how much of that is Diego Pavia.
04:17And if he leaves them, can they recruit?
04:19Will he take them to that level again?
04:21So I think Drinkwitz has a body of work.
04:23I think it's a little bit stronger.
04:25And he finds a way to win with whoever he's got at quarterback.
04:28He finds a way to win most of his games.
04:31Now, will he leave Missouri?
04:32I don't know.
