00:00I've really been working with Zoey since the beginning of my career and she's such
00:05an artist, you're such an artist, and we all are able to come together every time
00:11with this level of like deep love and support and admiration for each other
00:17and history obviously but also really seeing it with totally fresh eyes.
00:30What's the first red carpet look do you think we did, all three of us?
00:35It was for Avatar.
00:36It was for Avatar.
00:37Yes.
00:38She had, you made that little bob over here, remember in London?
00:42Yes.
00:43I remember that.
00:44And she was in this kind of, oh, forget, Roland Marais dress.
00:48Yes.
00:49How do you remember all of it?
00:50I don't know.
00:51I don't know.
00:52But that was so fun.
00:53You know, we first asked Petra like, what is she going to wear?
00:56What are the ideas for the red carpet and for our premiere?
00:59And then Mara and I, we just go through like the different looks and we start getting ideas
01:05to pitch the ideas to both Zoey and Petra and then we just kind of like bring everything
01:13together.
01:14I think that we treat the Oscars as good as a red carpet, I feel.
01:18It's true.
01:19You know, I think the only thing to say that kind of changes a little bit is like those carpets
01:23are so big and they're such big moments that maybe we take into consideration, you know,
01:29we want this look to really kind of stand the test of time and feel like something when
01:36we look back.
01:37Like Zoey had mentioned one of her favorite looks was the Oscars from over 10 years ago.
01:41Yeah.
01:42I know.
01:43So being able to like look back and go, oh, wow, that really is still a look that I could
01:50see doing again today.
01:52Yeah.
01:53Yeah.
01:54Totally.
01:55I have to say that the whole Avatar tour for me, the last one, I don't know, I felt like
02:02you really nailed it.
02:03I don't know, there was something fun about all of it.
02:07I think that the inspiration comes to me like when we see the dress and then you go, but
02:12there's always different inspirations, not just one, that's for me.
02:17And I think that's what's so special, like she can pull off so many different looks, it's
02:24unbelievable.
02:25I don't think there's an area or a decade that I like just don't go to because it doesn't
02:32feel like her.
02:33She's really able to be in all these different roles.
02:37My God, the 20s and the 30s.
02:39Yeah.
02:40We did that one in London for Star Trek.
02:42Looks amazing.
02:43And you kind of did like a wash on the eye and very little mascara or something or maybe
02:50lighter brows.
02:51Yeah.
02:52And we kind of did this like sort of 30s hairstyle and it was just so cool.
02:57Loved it.
02:58Mara makes me grow.
02:59Zoe makes me definitely grow.
03:01Like she sometimes pushes me to do things that I didn't even think about and it's like
03:06you just go there.
03:07And working with Zoe, she is up for any changes and trying different things.
03:15Yeah, absolutely.
03:16I totally agree.
03:17I think I have evolved so much as an artist and I've really been working with Zoe since
03:23the beginning of my career and she's such an artist, you're such an artist.
03:30And we all are able to come together every time with this level of like deep love and
03:36support and admiration for each other and history obviously, but also really seeing it
03:43with totally fresh eyes, it keeps it really fun.
03:47That's the fun part of it.
03:48Yeah.
03:49Actually we change it all the time.
03:50Yeah.
03:51And I love that.
